Abacus AC refuses to honor their warranties. Line “q” of their warranty states that they will schedule a priority service within 24 hours and service the installation for 10 years after installation. They (Abacus) scheduled the service, then canceled the day of. Repeated calls, Abacus refuses to service the AC installation. A second AC company will check, any repairs or service charges and personal time will be filed against Abacus in small claims court for breach of contract.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with this company and the service technicians Charles was thorough, professional,polite and knowledgeable he took time to explain everything to me and provided me with quality work ,I would definitely recommend him and the company to anyone that needs their services.
This company sent an electrician out to fix my breaker that kept shutting off my fridge on 7/1. The guy showed up on time an "fixed" breaker. Howewer that was not the problem because the later that day it shut off again! They were supposed to come back on 7/2 and canceled the appointment. I left a message and was told the manager would call me back. No manager and no service but they sure took my 500.00. What's worse they tried to get me to sign up for a new breaker box that would have COSTED 8000.00. Ignore these "good" reviews because they are wrong and fake. Go with another company that knows what they are doing and won't runoff with your hard earned money.
Tony was very professional and showed up 2 hours ahead of the anticipated appointment time on a Sunday! He got us back up and running in no time and explained what was going on with the equipment. Definitely worth every penny.
Allen T came out to our house to inspect the problems we had been experiencing and was efficient, knowledgeable and very responsive. The team came out the same day to fix our family’s electrical issues and John A did a wonderful job - professional and great service! Overall our experience was wonderful and we will be using Abacus for any future needs.
Suspicious of all the positive reviews, my experience was rather different! Called Abacus because my air was blowing but not cold in "Texas". The unit is 2 yrs old thought would be a simple fix. A technician named NOE came and stated that the drain was blocked, and quoted me a price of $400.00 which took 10min to fix. As I sit here typing this my unit is still blowing hot air, and dripping onto my siding. According to online, this should have been done for under $150 bucks, maybe because of where I live these contractors are free to state various prices, All in all, I was taken advantage of be careful, Abacus is a SCAM!
ABACUS is outstanding! One of our water heaters began leaking and company was coming in two days. ABACUS was wonderful (unlike another company). Chris came promptly, looked at our heaters, quoted a good price, and promptly began the work. Five hours later, we had new water heaters and hot water! Chris was the most professional installer I have ever encountered. He was knowledgeable, professional, and an expert in his trade. He explained the work, answered all questions, and was very friendly. I recommend ABACUS 100% and if Chris is your installer, you are in for a treat!
The first technician Gio Flores was prompt and courteous but left us in worse excess heat/ no AC situation than we began with—due to a failure to fully quality check our system. Eric Devaughn was the second technician who responded to our premises. He arrived promptly as agreed “after hours”. Within minutes he identified the first technicians oversight, corrected it and had us breathing cool air again. Salute Eric Devaughn Sir. Keep up the great work!
Nicolas was pleasant, punctual, tidy, speedy, and did a great job installing our attic water heater in today's extreme heat. I couldn't ask for a better experience.
I purchased a new Lennox variable speed complete A/C & heater from Abacus and let me tell you this thing rocks. It’s so quiet and the “always on” system is very impressive. Never felt more comfortable. The initial visit was with Tyler and he was very straight forward and honest with me even though they were though words to hear! That’s life right? He was a solid dude. I’d have a beer with him. After the purchase Gabriel and his right hand man installed the complete system in about a a day. Let me tell you those men worked hard. I tried my best to keep them hydrated and given snacks! Every time I saw them Gabe had a smile on his face. He is going places and I hope he does good in life. Install was prefect and the craftsmanship was on the money. Would absolutely use again and would request Gabe and his partner!!
STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!!!! Signed up for their Maintenace program, when I called about servicing my AC unit. Was charged $ 89.00 was told that included 2 maintenance visits per year, if service was needed, I would also receive preferred scheduling and a 20% discount off all parts. Gave them my CC was charged 5/31/23 for service then was told the earliest, they could get me in was 6/28/23. I indicated was that best they could do, to which they said yes. Last week Thursday 6/22/23 got a txt saying that due to overwhelming service calls they were suspending all maintenace calls until further notice. Called the company expressing my dissatisfaction with them and the way they are doing business!!! They are scheduled to come out and look at my AC unit next Friday 6/30/23 as it was not cooling. Love the way you do business.
ABACUS is only worried about adding line items to an invoice. I just had someone leave my house who told me they *had* to replace an AC blower motor, even though that's not actually the problem, because it "might" become a problem later instead of just replacing the blower wheel that was actually causing the problem. The motor adds an additional $1600 to the total bill so it's clear why they want to add it. Complete waste of my $100 diagnostic fee and more importantly, my time. Stay away from this business.
Abacus was "johnny on the spot" getting someone out to my house in only 3 hours from the phone call. The electrician, George Molina, was courteous and respectful at all times and in my opinion, went above and beyond what most electricians have ever done for me in the past. Even though I usually prefer to do business with small local businesses whenever possible, I trust Abacus and will call them first for any other needs that they can do for me.
From the time you call in they are so friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Vlad came out Monday, listen to what I needed, planned out a course of action, gave me a quote which I accepted. Came out the next morning 1st thing and completed the job in no time........Very Pleased! Would also like to complement their communication. You will get texts on appts, progress and even GPS link showing your specialists eta to your location.
We had great service!! Our technician, Ryan Gamez, was very professional and helpful. They got here quick and got our air working!! We can always count on Abacus!!
I phoned this company after locating a leak. I was informed that it was due to the shower overflowing out of the bathtub. I was charged $400 for this “finding” It took the guy less than 15 minutes to come to this conclusion, in fact he spent more time untucking his shirt and re-tucking his shirt. I was not confident in this service guy findings, and lo and behold we continue to have the same issue even though we are cautious and mindful when running the shower/bath. They will also refer you to a money gauging emergency water service called Bionic. Steer clear. These companies have no moral compass and they charge an arm and a leg.
I got a late start on scheduling our AC check for the year. After finding out that our appointment wasn't until the end of June, I asked if we could get on a list in case someone canceled. Luckily Abacus found us a slot 2 weeks earlier than the scheduled appointment. We were lucky enough to get Priscilla L. as our HVAC technician. She was great. She explained everything she was doing, updated us on the status of the AC, and gave the recommendations. She promptly emailed the details of the inspection, and she offered to answer any questions if they came up later. Priscilla was very professional.
I'm in the process of using them to get a couple of my properties taken care of. Also, I will recommend them to my Real Estate clients. Great Service. Looking forward to working with them in the future!!
