We scheduled an appointment and no one ever showed up so we rescheduled for the next day and it took 10 hours to even get a response from the tech. This is bad business.
Chris & Choice Air Care are awesome! You have A/C problems in this Texas heat, call Chris. Made an appointment; Chris showed up when he said he would, texted me to let me know how far away he was from my house & fixed my issue in I’d say 20 minutes…and did this at 10pm at night! No question who I call the next time I have issues.
If you have all the time in world and need simple service maybe and that maybe call them Technician was ontime he checked everything and said I may need new coil he'll talk to Chris and get back with me ,he never did ,called their office 4 time, sent them email twice 3 days later still no answer I think if it something simple they can fix when and if they show up they'll do it if not good luck getting hold of Chris or someone knowledgeable I understand all trade are short staff but communication is key here and that's what they are lacking. Already called another company they'll show up tomorrow and I'm moving on I hate to leave them 2 star but they left me no choice.
Chris came and got our AC up and running on a late Sunday evening call. He saved me from the wrath of wife in our 90 degree home. Chris was honest and educated me on the system I had and what had gone wrong. I will never use another HVAC company. If you're looking for someone reliable and honest then look no further.
We called on Saturday evening when one of our units stopped working. They booked a technician the next day. (I called 3 other companies and they all had 3 day wait). Technician arrived in the time window, he was respectful and knowledgeable. He had to spend longer than expected time in the hot attic in Texas summer. Overall a job well done.
We had tried to get Choice Air to come and repair an issue with our AC unit. They had given a window of 3 hours on Day 1. The technician did not show up even after 3 hours past the window that was given. The reason that was given was the technician had to spend extra time on a previous appointment. We had to cancel and rebook for Day 2. It was the same issue on Day 2. The technician did not show up even after 4 hours past the given window time. After multiple attempts, we were able to communicate with the technician. The reason that was given was he had fix an issue that was not mentioned in the ticket. He communicated that he was going to come within 35 mins multiple times and did not show up. This is unacceptable and I am not going to work with them again.
So first time just needing regular ac Check window was from 10-2 stayed home to make sure they could show up and get in . Called them 230 said just running behind then waited until 6 . NO call nonshow very unprofessional when other make appointments it’s proper to either cancel or say your busy .
I waited for all day. My appointment was 11:00-3:00pm 4hours window but no one showed up. I called the company so many times, they said they are coming but they didn’t come! So frustrated with this company. Do not use this company. Please.
Mixed bag using Choice Air Care from my experience. First the good: Work was good quality at a decent price. The technicians are knowledgeable and do quality work in a reasonable time frame once they get there. For the bad: We coordinated with Choice to replace our system as it was an older system and repairing it wasn't going to be the right decision. Our install date was pushed back multiple times. One I was OK with as it was for the health of the install crew, but the other times we were notified the morning of the scheduled install date, some of them only as a result of my concerns and calling them to confirm the install would actually happen that day. The issues didn't end with scheduling though. We set up financing through them and it was supposed to be done at a 0% interest for a few months and we were going to get it paid off in that time frame. When they submitted everything to the credit card company though they ignored what we had requested and used a different promotion that started charging interest immediately. If their coordination and communication were better then this review would have a different result. I hope others didn't have this experience and mine was a result of the seasonal rush due to needing this in the height of Texas summer.
Problem: Two a/c with 2 different problems. One not cooling and one dripping to the overflow. Neither issue was fix on the first trip out but did return after I called again and all the issues seem to be ok now. Said their work was guarantee and that there was no charge to resolve the issues. Very happy that they did stand behind their work.
Scheduled a tech to look at our A/C, but when he arrived I was told that it was "normal" for my A/C to run non-stop for 5+ hours in the evening without even looking at my system. He spent a couple minutes explaining why it was normal and then left. I called Air Repair Pros for a second opinion. Turns out the compressor in my unit was going bad. I had them replace the compressor and our A/C works great again, nice and cold, *very* noticeable difference. My Nest history (img attached) is additional evidence that the repair was needed; you can see the daily running hours drop from 17h+ to 10h+. I'm sure there are more thorough techs, and maybe my guy just had a long day before showing up, but based on my personal experience I would not recommend Choice Air Care.
My AC went out tonight, and I called Choice Air after hours. They came out within 30 minutes and had the problem diagnosed and resolved in 15 minutes. I would recommend them to any of my friends and family!!!!
Choice Air Care is the best for your air conditioning needs, Highly recommend! This company provided excellent service and was responsive. After comparing prices with other companies, Choice Air Care was the most reasonable! Chris and his team did an amazing and professional job! Thank you!

Talked to Chris on Thursday and we was very informative and professional. My house had a 25 year old ac system leaking r22 which is super expensive. As our house got to 90 degrees called to get a new system Thursday. He got us a great system at a very affordable payment and was out the next day. Both Chris and the installers were very quick clean professional and informative. Would definitely recommend them.
There was a problem during the startup to the cooling system. Chris, the owner, came out and found that the coolant in my two year old system that he installed was missing. He added some and said he would be by in a few days to check. He never returned and within two days the AC did not work again. It has been 5 days with the temperatures in the house in the 80s. I have tried to contact him via the phone # and with e-mail but he has not responded. I am moving on.
We have used this place since we moved to Frisco, back in 2018. We had them out last fall to do Fall service with no problem. When we tried to book the spring service every time my wife called the phone was not answered and it rolled to voice mail and it said voice mail is full. Finally I got through and we schedule something. They were suppose to come between 8-11 and never showed up nor called. I finally got a text at 6:15 apologizing and offering to come then. I did not respond. If you were going to miss then at least call and tell me. Good thing I moved on with some other stuff that needed to get done. I was surprised and disappointed. The only think I can think is there has been a change in ownership.
Chris was very helpful initially. I purchased an outdoor HVAC unit for over $4000 with the promise that an an integral indoor part would also be replaced and that maintenance return was included. 6 months later no one will respond to my calls or emails and the part replacement and spring maintenance has still not happened. Do not do business with Choice Air Care! Another week has passed and another promise unkept! No call. No response. No honor of paid in full contract.
My technician, Michael was prompt, professional and very thorough. Additionally, he had a great sense of humor which was welcomed during the pandemic. Choice Air is fortunate to have him representing them .
Having to invest in a new a/c unit isn’t exactly a fun purchase, however, when you feel like the diagnosis is accurate, the price is fair and your technician is knowledgeable, honest, & not sales-y, it makes the process much easier. Also, the work was completed in less time than i was originally told......always a plus. I would definitely recommend this company!
