Loved working with Mike today! He came out to fix my AC and was so kind through the whole thing and explained everything to me on what was wrong with it. I would use this company again instantly!
Was a great experience. The Preferred team was at the home early and completed the job 1/2 day ahead of estimate.
AC hasn't been running as strong as we'd like, granted, we've been in a massive heat wave. We used our Home Warranty to call out a service tech. Tech came on time and was absolutely lovely. I felt so bad it was so hot, but he was a joy the whole time. Immediately he got to work on outdoor unit, saw an issue, told us ASAP, let me know what was under warranty and what wasn't. Told tech we have a room that runs warmer than rest of house and I wanted to see/dream about an add'l vent. He was sweet, he said he'd have to see it in house, but would need to take off his shoes, so would do it after attic time. That consideration stood out to me. Even in house he went through cheap options and thoughts about vent for room with issues. He could have easily upsold me or pushed something else on me. Fortunately for me, he got upstairs and realized the vent wasn't hooked up. Likely it has been unnoticed because getting to that vent is miserable My guess he's first AC dude in a while to actively check things. And all, pretty great. Would use again.
It was time for me to replace a HVAC system. I was intrested in Dikin Fit. Daikin is very selective on who installs these HVAC and there is only a handfull of installers to choose from. I Got a quote from a Big name in the area. But I decided to get a second quote. Preferred not only beat the price they talked really good of the Big Name. When I told the Big name that I was going with Preferred they tried to match the price(not beat) and talked down on Preferred. To me that sealed the deal. If your work is good you let your work do the talking. Big name also had no wiggle room to work with me on some challenges I faced. Preferred was more personal the owner Anthony called me personally even gave me his personal phone number to reach him anytime, and even stopped by my home to see the work. He was able to work with me on my challenges I faced so I can get what I wanted. The install crew was amazing, fast and cleaned and left it looking like a new build in my attic. The crew leader even had a conversation with my while he was working just to answer all my questions Installed 2 4ton Dikin Fit quiet efficent and the future of HVAC. Preferred has earned a customer for life Thanks to Anthony and the Preferred Home services Staff.
As my AC went out I was referred to Preferred Home Services by a friend of mine and while checking on that it was noticed that the water heater needed to be replaced immediately as well. I am beyond thankful for the professional and efficient work provided by an incredibly knowledgeable staff. I truly appreciate your prompt response to my request and having everything new installed in less than 24 hours! Love it!! HIGHLY recommend!
Have rental property in Bacliff. Renter text saying the a/c wasn’t cooling the house down so I call Preferred Home Services and they had a tech on location and the A/C was fixed within a couple hours of my renter calling. Great speedy service and would definitely recommend them to anyone!
HVAC repairman was not only on-time but early. So glad he repaired my AC so fast. It's working GREAT!
Matt Bankston is amazing for a first time roof replaced customer he walked through the whole installation with me, explained it in layman terms. He was flexible with his time as I am a single teacher with very unusual time constrains. There was no question that that he would not explain to me in full detail. He made it a very stress-free experience. He kept in touch with me through the whole process, and I really appreciate everything he did and his company.
Bryan was great at working through out complex situation. They service was fast and friendly. Lee was great at the house. He went above and beyond to get the job done. 6 Stars!!

Thank you for the great job repairing our roof. After a recent storm we had some roof damage & water was leaking into our son’s bedroom. Matt came out and looked at the roof and after approval had the crew out within 24 hours. The crew was very professional and reviewed everything one more time to make sure any areas letting water in were identified. Then they got to fixing everything and completed the work the same day. The repair got an instant test as the next day it stormed for close to 6 hours… heavy downpours, but not a single drop in our son’s bedroom. Again thank you for the fast, professional fix to our leak. Will definitely use again for any issues or when it’s time for a complete roof replacement (it is getting old). Also will definitely recommend to friends & neighbors.
Had a call in due to AC not working right. Called another local company here and they came out the next day. Did some troubleshooting and had a few possibilities but nothing that would fix it. Had made this appointment before the local call and wanted to keep it just in case. Good call too! Talked to Tony Velasquez and he felt there were some issues and nothing simple. Matt was the tech that came out and with some info and a video I took of the AC he knew what was wrong. Popped the cover of the unit and sure enough it was a bad switch. Less than 15 mins and he had it running. They will come back to finish the job but I now have AC running to wait on them. Great job guys! Kudos to both of them for getting me some help!

Matt Bankston was recommended by a friend for roof repairs after a tornado hit our area. He was most professional and helped guide us through the wind and storm damage Insurance. Highly recommend. They also provided inside ceiling repairs from roof leaks. All the employees I talked to or dealt with were great.
The personal were on time and very professional. Cleaned up everything after their work. I would highly recommend their services.
This had to of been the best experience I've ever had when getting my biannual HVAC maintenance performed. It all started with the customer service representative who answered the phone (Bryan), who was very knowledgeable and had a terrific attitude. He then scheduled my maintenance in a timely manner. Then, the day of the maintenance, the technician arrived on time. Once he began my pre-season tune-up, he did not hesitate to educate me on everything he was going over. He then thanked me for maintaining my HVAC system to a like new condition, being that it is 15 years of age. I will continue to use Preferred Home Services for many years to come!

Taylor started my experience with the office perfectly, detailing what to expect, timing of appointment, texts to be received, and everything was exactly as she promised. Matt Morris came and diagnosed my issue quickly. The service and professionalism from start to finish was top notch. Communication is key and Taylor and Matt both communicated so promptly and thoroughly. I was so impressed I asked for a bid for more work to be performed. The transparency and honesty is appreciated. What a great team. We were hit by a tornado and they made the process so easy from start to finish. The guys that came out were great. They showed up ready to get the job done.
