Eric came out on a Sunday?! He didn't have the updated phone number to call beforehand, so glad I was home. He was fast effient and friendly. Had to pay for service fee ( holiday weekend) and a capacitor. Cheaper than the hotel I was going to book for 2 nights!
Our AC went out and Fox Mechanical responded fast, with all we needed to get the A C back in working order! The Employee who answered our repair was here after normal hours, very kind and polite. He was very smart and knew exactly what to do! Our home is cool and Fox Mechanical truly rocks in service and Knowledge ! We bought our Trane AC from Fox Mechanical, Our unit was with a good warranty. We recommend them for your Home AC and heater needs! Give them a call!!!!

Fox Mechanic has installed two systems for our family not only with very competitive pricing but also great service. The owner Wayne and his team has been our first responders source each time we run into anything with HVAC issues. Their tech Gary recently spent several hours diagnosing and fixing our daughter’s AC problem in response to a service call. Great company and great service. I highly recommend this company.

We live in a rental property and our outside unit went out. Our landlord sent over someone from the property management and the guy destroyed our outdoor unit, causing it to be unrepairable. Luckily we found Fox Mechanical, which was able to not only provide a decent estimate but they were also able to come out the same day to install our new system! It was 100+ outside and we greatly appreciate all the efforts to get our home comfortable again. Also, since the system has been changed and switched to a heat pump, our electric bill went down 20%! Thank you Fox Mechanical for being there when we needed it! Highly recommend!

DO NOT USE THIS SHADY COMPANY! We had an entire HVAC system install done in August 2020 and ductwork replacement done shortly afterwards because it was all uninsulated metal piping. After the HVAC was installed, our house was 10-11 degrees hotter than the temp setting, which is why we then had the ductwork replaced at the advice of the technician when we called them back out. The ductwork replacement helped, but the house was still about 4-5 degrees hotter than the thermostat, but we just dealt with it. Then this summer (2021), again our house goes back to being 10-12 degrees hotter, so my husband goes into the attic and discovers the terrible job done with the ductwork. There was air leaking pretty bad from connections to the plenum box and at the connections to the register boots, and there were kinked duct lines. They left exposed metal between 6 -12 inches instead of pulling the new insulated ducting all the way to the register boot. Also, the reducers to the plenum box were oversized and not sealed with mastic, which is where a lot of the air leakage was coming from. The most appalling show of how shady they are was the oversized connection at the plenum box which they "sealed" with tape instead of using a proper reducer (see picture). They had also left a lot of trash in the attic from the ductwork replacement the previous summer (see picture). My husband took pictures and called to have them come out and fix these issues, which was an ordeal in itself trying to actually speak to someone. The customer service woman texted my husband to call WAYNE FOX. We both spoke to him in a three way call, and in that call he told us the pictures looked fine to him and that leaks in the system were normal. He blamed all of our issues on our improperly insulated attic, which I will admit was a part of the issue, but he said it was the total problem, which was a lie. This company installed our new ac in 2019. Josh was our installer and he was great. AC quit working last week - Eric came out and worked on it. It finally cooled down about midnight that night. The next day it was not cooling again - we left a message with Eric and Fox Mechanical. Never heard back from anyone. We left for out of town last Friday and just got back today (Monday) around 2:30 pm. When we got home ac was not working at all. Called and left a message w both Eric (also texted Eric) and Fox Mechanical around 3 pm - it is now 10 pm - it is 88 degrees in our house and we are having to spend the night at a hotel - still have not heard from anyone at Fox Mechanical.
I purchased a Trane AC unit June of 2020. I almost did not purchase through this company because of a few problema. The company sent Raymond out. I could tell Raymond did not like me asking questions about the longevity of the unit, warranty, the repair process, etc. After a few days went by, I realized, I did not hear from Raymond. So, I called Raymond and Raymond told me that they were going turn down the job and not move forward. I had never heard of this before. Because these were the guys whose quote for the Trane product came in less expensive than 6 other quotes, I had plans on moving forward with them. I then reached out to admin office, and that is when I got my first taste of Lyn. She's the wife. Boy oh boy, she gave the worst impression of a small business trying to do big things. She was the rudest face of a company I had ever encountered. My message made it to Wade, the owner. He appeared genuinely embarrassed by Raymond’s comments and really encouraged me to try to move forward with the company. Wade is the reason I purchased from Fox Mechanical. On Install day, I met Adam. Professional and an absolutely phenomenal communicator. Before he began, he told me what he was going to do, what the results would be and asked if I had any questions he could answer. He sure felt like comfort to a confused family making a large, expensive appliance purchase. After the install, Adam made sure I had every model and serial number necessary. He even waited as I copied and placed the documents in a sheet protector, occasionally pointing to important messages on the document Directly after the Texas winter storm, there was a buzz that everyone should have their major appliances looked after, especially their AC and Heating units. In late February I began reaching out to Fox Mechanical asking, REQuesting and BEGGING to have my unit looked at. Specifically, because of the winter storm. I was literally told NO. They were on time, did exactly what we contracted for, and finished and cleaned up in just about 6 hours. Highly recommend this company.
Saved money going with this company for my new A.C unit. New unit put in in May. Turned the heater on end of October would not heat the house. I called for service left a message got a call back that she would get back with me after the 3rd call the lady told me who put my unit in and would get with him then call me back to set an appointment. Next day I get a text message and call from the service man that he was running late for an appointment I did not set up. I was at work and didnt receive the message till later in the day. I called after work to the office the first time someone answered but I dont think she knew she answered as there was no hello or any profesional answer only to hear her talking to someone. I called the same number no answer but I did leave a message. Waited called again to a different number to hear explanations in who's fault it was and the personal issues with the service tech. She said she would get with someone else to come out and guaranteed she would call by 6pm.... That was yesterday. It is 1:15pm the next day still no call. The parts on my equipment are under warranty.... Yea me but I cant seem to get someone to come di the work. So sometimes saving money is just a joke. So mad right now.
I talked to 4 AC Companies before choosing Fox. Fox had by far the best price and had the product I was looking for in stock. Installation was scheduled for 2 days out - the crew was there first thing in the morning and worked hard all day in the 100+ degree heat to get us up and running. One of the crew slipped in the attic and stepped through our bedroom ceiling. Accidents happen. That was on Thursday. On Saturday a Sheetrock crew showed up and in a few hours had the ceiling repaired perfectly. I am extremely pleased with the value and service I received from Fox and I would highly recommend them for your AC and Heating needs.

I just installed a Brand New 4-Ton 16 Seer Trane System for an amazing price, they can not be beaten for price and professionalism in the DFW area. The entire process lasted just 4 hours, from 8:30am to 12pm, disassembly of the old units and installation of the new units. They even cleaned up the attic insulation on the floor and hauled off the old AC and Furnace. Highly Recommended! I'm glad I chose Fox Mechanical over the others, such an amazing hassle free experience. Thank you from the residence of Birchwood!
