Very good at sales - not so great with integrity and service after the sale
Wow! Amazing service and very fair with their pricing…my builder uses them and they did all of my HVAC and top notch premier service
We've had issues with our Geothermal A/C since we moved into our house last year. We've had a number of HVAC contractors come out to service but none of them could fix it. Finally I called Excel and the experience was night and day. They came out quickly and even after hours. The techs were professional, friendly and when they were not 100% sure about the next step, they called the Owner who came out same day afterhours to diagnose. The system was old and could not be repaired. Roy and his team gave me what felt like a very fair estimate for replacement, they ordered the equipment and it was installed again afterhours within days! This is the crew you want if you are looking for a reliable, honest HVAC contractor. I wish for them to have a long and prosperous business , the deserve it.
As a LEED certified green Architect in the DFW metroplex I have found it next to impossible to work with Excel Geothermal. They have a nice website and are eager enough for an initial consultation. After that however they quickly rush on to the next customer. No follow up from staff and very basic technical knowledge during design which is extremely concerning!! Luckily I have found a different geothermal installer also in DFW that is not only much more knowledgeable but also understand the importance of timely communication as well as dedicated commitment to delivery. Please be aware as you are making a big financial investment. I hope your experience differs from mine
Great customer service, responsive, thoughtful, on time and professional. We had a prior company which was really bad. Excel was a breath of fresh air. Great folks, highly recommend!

Our nonprofit, Green Careers Dallas is extremely grateful for the wonderful, thorough work done by Excel Geothermal. We needed about 85' of old broken fencing and in-grown trees removed in order to put a new fence in at our new training site in southern Dallas. Since we are operating on a shoestring budge, the owner of Excel Geothermal, Roy Schar, donated this entire day's work, his crew and excavation equipment to get the job done. We do not know how we would have done this without his generosity! For a grassroots nonprofit, this means the world to know a business would do this to get us closer to our dream. Thank you to the wonderful crew and to Mr. Roy Schar at Geothermal Excel!!!
Sadly, another example of a construction related company that has learned during an uptick in home sales and growth, that's you can just ignore customers and blow them off because they can afford to loose you right now: Ignores emails, blows off requests, and zero follow-up. I would love to support this local business with all my dollars, but this one specially stank. No referral from me - But maybe your experience will be different.
Someone came out to do a walk-through and provide a quote 3 months ago. Never heard back from him, several emails to a separate person who scheduled the service - no replies. Called them 2 weeks ago and they said someone would follow up the next business day... Nothing

I only take the time to write a review when a company does an outstanding job and this company performed above and beyond. I purchased a home with Casa Belle Homes however my AC system was warrantied and installed by Excel Geothermal. There was an issue with one room being much hotter than the other rooms. After 2 techs could not resolved the problem, I was getting very upset however, the President of the company came out and was able to resolve the problem at no cost to me. I have never met any business that stands behind their work in the manner that this company did. They came over in the poring down rain and fixed everything and even added some additional equipment to help my system work at it’s best. I highly recommend them.
My Climate Master HVAC system stopped working in the middle of July. The company that installed it 7 years ago had gone out of business and I wasn't sure who to call. I checked out the google reviews and decided to give Excel Geothermal a try. I called their number, had a tech (Jeffrey) at my door in about an hour and my system back up and running 30 minutes later. A well run company with great service. I highly recommend Excel Geothermal and know who to call next time around.
We were delighted to see that our previous technician, Mario Escobar , is now working for Excel. Thorough, professional and friendly . Previous experience with Mario tells me that Excel hires great people . Glad to have Excel on the job to keep our older geothermal system running at its best.
Isiah was phenomenal, he detected the problem got the part overnighted and cane as soon as he could to fix it. Isiah is the man!
Mario Was on time, he was a professional and diagnosed our problem quickly and repaired the issue. In addition he pointed out a problem we were going to have in the future and we wanted him to go ahead an fix that problem before it went out. He is absolutely the man you should request to solve your HVAC issues. He gets five stars!
I cannot say enough about the guys on the Excel team. My mothers pumps were out on her Geothermal unit and even though they were booked solid for weeks they worked her in on a Saturday and stayed until after 10:00 PM to finish the job. I am very grateful to have someone that can do a superior job and keep us from having to worry about the small issues that can arrise. Thanks Roy, Mario and Alexandra for the help. You are a super team and we are grateful for your help!!!
