My outdoor condenser fan was not working, so I contacted Dallas Plumbing and informed them that I got their contact from Carrier website and my unit is still under warranty. The lady I spoke with said, they will take care of it and dispatched tech the following day. Tech arrived the next day and diagnosed the problem and told me the capacitor is bad and it will cost me $320 (after 15% discount) to replace it. I looked up online and the price of that capacitor was just $14. I just paid the $79 inspection fee and told him I will figure it out myself. Later that day I bought the capacitor myself and replaced it. It is outrageous to charge $300 for the capacitor that only cost $14.
I called for a simple inspection to be done on my a/c system and was told it would be $69.99. My husband was yhe one home for the service and when the tech was done, he told my husband that the total was $400. He asked why and was told that it was the maintenance that was done on the unit that we did not ask for. The tech did not tell my husband the cost or anything about the maintenance. We were swindled out of money and I hope this review helps others to not fall into their trap. Horrible company.
The gentleman who came here was wonderful but the prices quoted were ridiculous. We will no longer use this company for plumbing

Mr Trevis inspected my air conditioner compressor which failed. He managed to get the compressor and the air conditioning system working again. He was very knowledgeable and professional in work. I would highly recommend Dallas Plumbing Company for your air conditioning system service.
Drey was the technician and he did an excellent job and I did find the problem and fixing it. He was very courteous, knowledgeable and pleasant.
Technician was prompt and looked at the interior issue before giving me a price to do the work. Unfortunately, there was only one person and there would have been another visit so, I chose to let the other contractor also come out. They were less expensive and prepared to do the work immediately.
$8500 quote to do the following work. Job 1: remove capped fire place gas line and install small piece of black iron (parts $50, labor time 20min. Job 2: plumb t fitting and quick disconnect to my gas line going into my house where fittings are easily removable (parts: $50, labor time 1hr). You do the math because I did not know plumbers make $5,600/hr until DPC showed up. Should I pay $8500 for this work? This is what I call rip your face off quote. The tech that showed up was a nice guy and he obviously was not responsible for the quote. I would not have given a review if they had simply told me that they couldn't do the work. Instead DPC shot for the moon and insulted me. I guess every now and then someone with more money than sense will pay this. Customers beware.
DeAndre did an awesome job. He was very professional and methodical. He made sure that the actual problem was identified before actually starting the repair.
Needed a refrigerator line added - called and assumed it would be weeks for an appointment. Nope - an hour later David arrived and knocked it our. If you need work - stop looking and call Dallas Plumbing.
Travis and Josh were very kind, friendly and knowledgeable.They were able to schedule a next-day installation for a new AC and offered a great 18-month no-interest, no-payment deal which is saving us. These people are very honest as they gave the same info on my unit as another very respectable company had, without me telling them. That was the deciding factor for me to put my trust in them!!
They arrived at the time suggested. Then proceeded to analyze the problem and replaced the bad part. It took under 30 minutes to resolve the issue.
Dallas Plumbing Company always ensures they solved my AC issues…. Today no service fee to diagnose AC needs a new board. Still got it up and running until part can be replaced…

After reading all the reviews, I had to add a bit more. Yes they were expensive but you pay for what you get.
RUN !!!! BEWARE!!!! I have been a client of Dallas Plumbing (original company) for 30 years. They were awesome but were sold sometime in the past few years. We thought it was the same family-owned company. We paid $5,000 deposit ($25,000 estimated total cost) to replace two AC units in June 2023. They still have not done anything after multiple calls. Just get a national center call center. Will not refund our money. We have engaged another local AC company to handle since they will not respond to our repeated calls to finish the job.
Disappointed that the plumber tried to make us replace things that didn’t need replacing. Luckily we had another plumber come look as well and we’re extremely relieved. Wouldn’t call them again.
Great company! Brandon was so nice and quickly found the cause of my non working air conditioner unit while the temperature was 100 degrees. Shawn was very knowledgeable, easy to work with and helped to schedule my repair within 1 day. All of the staff performing the repairs was helpful. I highly recommend this company. Thank you so much!
They were on time yes but their quote was out of this world. For that reason I give them only one star. Folks you must understand we are all struggling these days and some of us are living on fixed income yet their price was astronomical compared to others. I have now completed the job at a fraction of what they wanted to charge me, that's unacceptable!
While I didn’t use the company for my mini split AC, the rep was so nice, honest and knowledgeable on the topic. Price point was high since I had someone that could install it for me for cheaper. If I was going to go with a company, I would definitely have used them.
