They came as a home warranty repair call. I believe my tech name was Sean, he came and said nothing is wrong with my AC I just needed to change out the air filter. I had the air filter handy and he said I bought the wrong filter because BOTH tech (one was in training) tried to put it in. Never did he test anything else to see the cause of the problem. He immediately left after that, I knew the air filter I had was correct because I have changed air filter before. He just insisted it was the wrong air filter. As soon as he left, I went and put in the air filter it took me a few second. I immediately called the tech to see if he would like to come back and check the AC. He said "No, he is sure that once the air filter is in it will work." Needless to say, AC is still not working. Even I knew the air filter is there to collect dusk and even if there was no filter the AC should still be blowing cold air. He simply did not care about his work or was having issues that day. I Will never recommend A?C rescue to anyone.
My home warranty sent them. They reported I had never had my A/C cleaned (I had, less than a year ago and have the invoice for it with pictures). Because of this, my home warranty won't cover the repair. If your warranty sends them, ask for someone else.
You never gonna receive a call from them for the service appointment. They took very long time almost two days to send the diagnostics report of my AC to my AHS. Never recommend this company.
I've called them out to my house many times and they try to make the cheapest fix possible and leave in a hurry. My house is 85 inside and has been for weeks and they don't care. Technician came out on the second visit and said " try changing the filter" and didn't check anything or run any tests. When I called back to voice my concerns they were pretty aggressive and hung up on me cause I wouldn't accept her answer of I don't know how to help. Would never recommend this company to anyone ever.
In 2 minutes he found the problem that 4 other AC companies couldn't!!! Did a great job!
OMG, I'm sooo impressed about Kenny's service. I wish I called Kenny the first time instead of Number 1 Air. What Number 1 Air guy quoted me for $480 plus $99 service fee that I paid out of pocket, Kenny took care of it in 20 minutes without any extra charge after paying the service call fee of $75 under my home warranty. Kenny gave updates about when he comes and showed up on time, whereas Number 1 Air they cancelled me last minute regardless of my appointment scheduled. Kenny was beyond professional, knowledgeable and efficient, and trust-worthy. I'm so glad that I found my forever go to guy for my air-conditioning issues from now on. Learned my lesson the hard way with Number 1 Air experience, but I'm grateful that I found Kenny on my second try.
Don't get in any hurry and don't expect them to fix it the 1st time. Poor quality technicians don't expect this company to do anything but lie to you.
I have AHS and getting my HVAC work orders moved to another contractor. AC Rescue is an unethical company trying to milk warranty and exploit both AHS and me the customer. Several of agents and supervisor Michelle extremely rude condescending. Changed diagnosis from tech diagnosis on-site. Tried to upsell inferior low sear system to replace previous reps of compressor. Recommended replacement unit for pvc pipe issue. Also the warranty work they did for compressor open new ticket is work they previously did less than 90 days ago. New issue never diagnosed or dispatched. Will never have AC rescue on my property again. Very low ethics company. I will contact BBB and write up taking time write negative reviews of ACRescue.
Don’t expect them to do a good job the first time. the man who helped us this year vividly remembers coming to our home last year with the same problem. it’s taken more than a week to get a response from them only to have them tell us to be grateful we have one working unit…?i don’t know why they’re so sassy? if your home owners insurance refers you to them i HIGHLY recommend asking for someone else because the unprofessionalism is unreal. They’re cutting costs and putting that burden on their clients by having only one person be in charge of work orders…during the busiest season…make it make sense?
They visited me as part of my Home warranty, technician told me that I have leakage due to bad damper motor which not covered under warranty so I paid them additional $400 to fix it however over the time i learned that this didn't fix the issue. when I call them back to check it out- they said damper motor has nothing to do with leakage. overall I feel ripped off and there no courtesy to at least checking it out. I even offer paying more if there is a different reason.. bad experience.
If you have ANY kind of emergency and this is the company your home warranty connects you with, ASK FOR SOMEONE ELSE. If there were a lower rating than 1 star, they'd deserve it. They don't call you ... you'll always have to repeatedly call to schedule and check on things. And under no circumstances will they treat your issues as if it is of any importance. They won't research anything. They prefer to just sit there and do as little as possible it seems. And when you do find a way to connect with Amanda or Michelle, you can just sense the attitude. Unprofessional service at its best. I'm so thankful that I didn't proceed with any repairs after reading most of the reviews. I suggest that you recommend to any warranty company as I have to NEVER recommend AC Rescue at all.
Mr. Richard was very professional and he came right on time and explain everything I needed and advise me to call. Should I need anything he deserve a five plus that wait wait
This company is terrible. Do not use. Not only did they fail to accomplish the repair on the first service trip, they got angry with their customer when they were questioned why it was taking over a week to provide a quote. They also wanted to charge 200% over what the bill should’ve been. The manager was extremely rude, unhelpful and I will NEVER use AC Rescue Inc. again. It sounds like they don’t do a lot of their own work anyways - they sub a lot through third parties, so there is even less accountability. Avoid them at all costs.
Quality of work lacks and how quickly they send someone out to help you is horrible. Taking care of my wife with dementia, 100 degrees outside, NO AC, and they couldn’t get someone out for 3 days! I tried to explain my situation and Amanda in the front office was very unprofessional and rude. This response time seems to be the norm with this company. This is the second time they had to come out in a month for the same thing with the same 3 day wait time!

We had Kenny out this morning as part of routine maintenance check of our two AC units. He called ahead of time to let us know when he would arrive, was punctual and polite. Kenny was able to find an issue that previous AC repair company ignored and within 30 mins had both systems up and running at full capacity. Extremely professional and courteous. Would use again and recommend
I cant stress how UNPROFESSIONAL and EXTREMELY RUDE Amanda was with me that made me make sure to advise all my friends that have American Home Shield or need ac unit fixed to not request A/C rescue because of Amanda alone. My warranty company called them out to see why unit kept shutting off, they came left and next day woke up to flooding from unit that leaked from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor. When I called to speak to manager Michelle who was out of office at the time, I was transferred to Amanda. Instead of having a conversation and hearing me out to resolve the issue she began to accuse me of yelling at her & became extremely rude and ignorant not to mention quick to ignore any fault. When i called her out on her lies she stated call was recorded which i replied great because she was definitely in the wrong. If i have question i advised its because im not an ac professional, My biggest pet peev too was she kept interrupting me and not allowing me to speak. If this is who you have representing your company no wonder businesses have gone to Sh!t! Thank goodness it was an easy fix and no major damage. Worst part was I wasn't calling to charge them, my initial call was to find out where the agent failed to check my pan and sensor for over flow and go from there, see what amount was my responsibility vs there's. Forgot to add that when I called them Friday to tell them of the flooding they stated I would have to wait till Monday to have someone sent over. Went the whole weekend with my house hitting 90° to where I was forced to by a window unit to try to control heat and humidity. Extremely done with this company!
I got this company thru AHS. The guy came yesterday for tune-up maintenance. He said your unit is pretty new and I said we installed 8 month ago. I don't know before he leaves, he went outside and did something and after that is not working at all. So I guess messed it up so he can make some money.
These people are the best they went Above and beyond to keep my family cool in the hot summer. I would recommend. Using them for all your AC needs.
AC Rescue was assigned to my American Home Shield request after another service company out Rockwall could not fix the issue. (left me with a unit not working) Kenny showed up today and jumped right into the issue. He asked a few questions and started troubleshooting. He went through his steps. He found a couple of issues the previous tech messed up and was able to correct. I am very happy with AC Rescue and I am glad they sent Kenny out to fix the problem. Will definitely recommend to anyone
