Horrible experience getting a new HVAC with Reel-Air. Utter lack of communication throughout the whole process and the install was shoddy. I later had to contract another company to do what they should have done in the first place, such as adding a drain pan, installing a p-trap, getting the right amount of refrigerant pressure, etc. Reel-Air is cheap, but they cut lots of corners, so you get what you pay for!
To Whomever is reading this....DO NOT USE THIS GUY OR HIS COMPANY. HE'S A CROOK. He installed my downstairs and he 100% botched it. He sold me equipment that he was liquidating, did not complete the work on the attic unit replacement that I ended up paying more money on from a different company and then fled to Florida. He over promised and under delivered plain and simple. He's hired multiple companies to do his work now for him in Carrollton and is nowhere to be found. Won't service any of his warranties, won't service any work he incorrectly installed and feeds his customers lies after lies. I will spare everyone with the further details, however, DO NOT USE HIM. He won't be anything but a headache for you.

Terry put freon in m AC for FREE to get the house cooled while we waited on a new unit, no sales pitch, no muss, no fuss. His wife handled the books with ease and grace. Easy going and honest. Don't do business anywhere else!
I had a 20 year old air conditioner, and I was having major problems with it. Like once, I had a flood. I called my home warranty company, and they sent out some guys who said I had a bunch of major problems that they didn't fix and the warranty didn't cover. Told me to call someone else. I called Terry at the suggestion of my dad, and he came out and told me none of that stuff the first company said was right, and he literally fixed the whole unit by propping the pan up with a stick. He was so honest and didn't try to scam me or make me buy expensive parts I didn't need. I thought--this is the guy I want taking care of my unit for life. A few months later, the unit stopped cooling altogether. He came out and immediately knew the problem was a busted motor on the fan in the outdoor condenser unit. He put a rescue fan on it until a new part could be ordered and installed. He never pushed me to buy a new unit, but when I asked him if I should, he didn't say yes or no--he just laid out the numbers and the facts for me so I could make my own decision. It didn't make financial sense to me to throw hundreds of dollars at parts on a 20 year old unit, so I asked for pricing for a new unit. He blew me away with what he quoted me--it was MUCH less than I was expecting. I asked him to install it and he did--and now I have a brand new unit that actually cools the upstairs of my house and not just the downstairs (like the old unit did.) I couldn't be more thrilled! If you want honest, affordable work, then call Terry Reel at Reel Air. They are by far the best home contractor I have worked with, EVER.
Terry with REEL-AIR is the REAL deal. You wont get a more honest AC company to come out and work on your air conditioner for you! I had a different company come out on a Friday and do a spring tune up on my unit which was a great mistake! On top of them not really doing any major checks or tune up on my system, they sent me an estimate for $371 dollars to change a capacitor on my blower. Terry with REEL-AIR came out the next Monday, not only did he actually do a real tune up, he changed the same capacitor for $30 dollars.
Reel Air is very customer service oriented! We called for our business and Terry was out later that day. He was very informative with our issues and was able to fix them quickly. Thank you Terry!
The money I saved using them was awesome, but its the honesty and how committed they were to provide quality service that makes them stand apart from the rest. I couldnt imagine letting another company work on my home.

Called Terry to try to set up something as soon as possible. Terry heard my newborn cry and told me he couldn't leave me like that so he came right over to take care of us.
