Like others have shared have been calling them and leaving messages and not getting a call back. Not sure if they are still in business. By the way their Austin number doesn't see to be functional either. Like others they installed a couple of HVAC units at out home and gave a 5 yr warranty but I can't get hold of them to get it looked at now that I have a problem within the warranty period. If anyone from the company is reading this message can you please call me back, I left my phone number on your answering system.
This company installed our unit about 5 years ago and it has given us issues ever since. We have a 10 year warranty and we have had to call them 3-5 times a year every year for service. Recently, we have called them everyday for the past 5 days and they have yet to return our calls. We will be involving an attorney now.
Maybe I can get a response this way, since calling and leaving multiple messages is not working. I have a thermostat that has been malfunctioning for over a year that they have yet to replace. Previous attempts to have it taken care of resulted in me being told "We will look into it and get back to you" but they never do. A couple weeks ago when it was so cold, the system was stuck on AC because the thermostat screen is completely non functional now, leaving my house freezing. We currently pay $54/month for the maintenance package that includes "1 day service calls" but can't even get anyone to answer the phone or return calls to get anything scheduled. My last message I left was asking for a return call ASAP to get the thermostat issue fixed and to discuss how to cancel the $54/month plan since it's doing me no good and they still have not returned my call AND still charged my account for the maintenance plan. At this point I would call this a scam. Oh and today is 95* out and the thermostat is still not working so my AC is running non stop trying to keep up. Come on Air Care Today. Get your act together.
AirCare guys did a great job in installation. However, there has been zero response from them for over 3 weeks to fix our AC. I've left multiple messages to just about everybody (sales resp, admin, repair), and nobody calls back. Our AC units are under warranty, and they've stopped caring. Would not recommend.
Air Care came to our rescue yesterday, when our ac unit broke down, on the hottest day in Texas in recent times. They responded immediately and within an hour we had a technician at our place. Professional and thorough, he diagnosed the issue and .ot it fixed. Superior service for sure
UPDATE: The Bosch unit died during the freeze the tech replaced the compressor and the main board which took two months to get completed as the parts had to be shipped from Germany. Thank goodness was agreeable. But I had to become an advocate and call the company to get it done. Thank goodness it was still under warranty. Communication with air care today was less than satisfactory in the end they did the right thing and honored their agreement to “service“ the unit. Filters cost between 40 and $60. And their annual service cost does not compare with many others. I can’t say enough about the tech who came to work on it. However Michele in the office dropped the ball several times. ACTUAL PURCHASE: David Ucherek was extremely well informed, assessed my needs and worked to get me the deal I wanted. We installed a Bosch 4 ton variable speed unit and Furnace. The comparable costs with 12 other companies could not be beat. David did not try to push me into buying but was good to continue to call back and ask how he could earn my business. The two man crew that installed the unit were professional, courteous, and friendly. To my amazement, the job was finished in one day. Jeff Hollander came back to teach me how to program my phone to set up the thermostat. He was very patient and kind. Good Job Air Care Today. I would highly recommend them.
In 2017 I went through my new acunit.com and purchased a whole brand new air conditioning and heating system. They then put me in contact with air care today so they could do the installation, I paid 3500 for the system Air Care today charged me over $3300 for installation and other miscellaneous things which I still have the receipt for. Ever since this was a new system it has never truly cooled my home as much as it really should be. Yesterday I had a company come service my system they said it was a very bad installation the coil was not hooked up to the Plenum correctly and air has always been escaping since 2017 and now there is mold inside of my system I called Air Care today yesterday and have yet to receive a phone call back. Do not use this
Just had EJ, Martin, and Maguel changed our HVAC system and they were fantastic. Very professional crew that got the job done right and they did it quickly. Very pleased that we used AirCareToday.
EJ and Martín were fantastic. They came on Labor Day of all days to install a new AC unit, and they were super friendly and professional. They cleaned where they worked and showed me the units when they were done, and everything looks neat and wonderful. And I’m excited about the company and having them back in the future for maintenance. I feel like I can rely on everyone, and again I’m really grateful to EJ and Martín for their work!
EJ was great! It was the weekend and they couldn't fix the unit right away he came back and brought us two portable air conditioners so we can stay cool for the weekend till they could come back and fix our unit on monday. So thank you soo much.
I just wanted to say how pleased I am with this company. They have been a complete pleasure since I first contacted them for information to the installation and with an extremely urgent service call. The water drain valve from my air handler located in a closet upstairs clogged up and started flowing out the air vent. This occurred at approximately 11:30PM on July 27, 2019. Turning off the AC and waiting for a repair technician to come out the next day wasn’t an option that we could do because I have a severely disabled child that cannot hi without air conditioning. I texted David about my situation and he responded immediately with the dispatch office number. To my complete surprise EJ arrived close to midnight and performed the repair. He was very friendly, understanding and super efficient in the repair. Having a gentleman like him to show up at midnight and perform a repair is unheard of!! I could not be more happy with this company and their service and I highly recommend anyone needing an AC or a repair to contact them!!
Wanted to rate my experience with David. I could not rely on Baker Brothers because my “family membership” for a year with them expired. I contacted David through a friend and he came right out to remedy why my house was so hot even though the ac fan was blowing. He is very knowledgeable in his craft and explained processes and components to look for in the future. My condenser line was frozen and he shut that off so it could melt while checking on the indoor unit. He took the time to bring out his air compressor to blow out excess fluid in the lines and made sure my system was fully operational. Thank you Mr. David and your company.
I had my new AC unit installed almost a month ago and it was done on a Saturday. I woke up.sunday morning to two water stains in my ceiling. I called and David was great about calling dispatch and also stated he would get in touch with a dry wall /painter person to take care of the water damage on my ceiling . That Sunday my AC unit was corrected. That Saturday two of the three that had come out to install were more concerned about who would be in charge and running the show instead of doing the install properly. So it's been almost a month and my water stains are still on my ceiling and air care hasn't taken care of what THEY caused in the first place . I have been given the run around time and time again. Yesterday a person was suppose to finally come at 3pm to correct the stains but didn't show and I didn't get a phone call either. However I received a text message two hours later from the guy saying he forgot about the 3pm appointment after we had confirmed a few days prior. So I called air care upset and spoke with Billy who chose to YELL at ME. Clearly this company has zero accountability, integrity, or work ethic . They got my money for new AC unit and that's that. Please don't use this company and have anything like this happen to you .
I just want to say this is my second time working with Air Care Today and i really appreciate the professionalism and the AC 101 class. Our technician EJ took the time to involve me in the steps he had to take and also why they were taken. I feel a little AC smarter and whole lot of AC cooler. I would also also like to thank dispatch for returning all my phone callls and answering alll of my questions. A great team and great company! Thank you Air CareToday!!!
