Golden Mechanical replaced our entire HVAC system. --- New unit in our attic, new unit outside, addition of a new heat pump and a new Smart thermostat. After our initial contact with them, they immediately sent out a technician with practically no wait time. (They even sent us a thank you card that was hand signed by all their employees just for contacting them! --- Appreciation like this is very rare these days!) Also, I want to note that James Wheeler went far and beyond what anyone would expect in educating us about not only what kind of system would work the best for our house, but also the pros and cons of each name brand and unit size, why the system we discussed purchasing is appropriate for our home, how the system works in conjunction with the age of our house, square footage, ductwork, current insulation, height of our faulted ceilings, etc. He never pressured us, was always professional, patient during the endless questions that we had for him, and he even made sure that we had his direct contact number so that we could call him directly should we have any additional questions! --- Wow and Wow AGAIN! James helped us with understanding our financing, had the system ready for delivery in no time at all and even personally came to our house to make sure that the installation of our new HVAC system in our attic and outside of our house was completed to his expectations. In addition, I must note that Golden sent four of their own employees/technicians to install our new system vs. workers that were outsourced from another company. The employees were very polite, professional, and so quite that a baby could have slept through the installation process. --- They even repaired openings throughout our old ductwork, installed surge protectors both in our attic and outside, an emergency shut off switch and helped us to understand our new Smart thermostat! --- They were unbelievably informative during the entire process so that we would know at all times what was

I had the best experience with Golden. Our heater stopped working the day a cold front blew in. Our house was down to 50 degrees. They came out the day we called, found a replacement part for our outdated furnace, and got it fixed the same day. Very professional staff from the office to the technician that did the repair. We know our system is very old, but there was no pressure to purchase a new system. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs AC or heating service.
Golden Air was very quick to respond and be available when our a/c went out this summer during record setting heat.

Have used Golden HVAC a few times over the years, always on time, honest, and reasonably priced. Technicians are always friendly and respectful. Definitely recommend! Glad to support a smaller company when compared to some giant HVAC companies around here!
They did what they said they would do. I know, rare these days. Our AC went out. I know it had a leak and we would need new coils, at least. They priced a new outside unit and replacing the coils in the attic unit. Very fair price for well rated equipment. Showed up on time with equipment in hand. Knocked it out and we can keep our cool. Thank you for being a business of integrity!

Our A/C went out and the unit had to be replaced. With Covid and July 4th holiday, I didn't have much hope that we could have an A/C soon. Golden Air responded quickly and took care of us immediately. Great pricing, great work, Hudson went above and beyond. Thank you very much.
I knew it was going to be time to upgrade my system and reached out to Golden Air. They came back with the type of system I wanted, at a price that was more than fair. I think mostly because of their buying power. System was installed in less than a day. They came back and put in a Remy Halo about a month later (had to be ordered) - again at a great price. I had forgotten that they don't include the first year of maintenance and called in May - and they came out and put me on an annual contract - again at a great price. System has been running great and my energy bills are lower.
Golden AC has always treated me with promptness and courtesy. I have called on them several times in need of immediate service and they have without fail taken care of me.
Golden Mechanical is always on time and this maintenance call required some minor engineering to fix it and they took care of it and now our HVAC works better and more efficiently than ever before. You will be happy with your experience with Golden Mechanical!
I love Golden Air. By far the best AC company we have ever used. We have 3 units, so useless repairs and unnecessary upgrades would cost us a fortune. Luckily, Golden Air is honest and thorough!
Called that morning for an AC unit not cooling. They called back immediately letting me know a tech would be out. He arrived onsite within 2 hours of the originating call. Diagnosed the challenge, the quote was very competitive. The unit was fixed and up an running and we were sitting in the cool again!
The team at Golden Mechanical was wonderful to work with. We couldn't be more pleased with the service and the price! You need a good HVAC connection when you're living in Texas - these are your people, for sure!
