They had the key blanks (#35) that both home depot and lowes did not. Everyone else is out of stock. Very helpful.
Wonderful family owned business. They know the houses in the area so they stock the hardware, filters , plumbing supplies that the surround homes would need
Young man carried sand to my car he had good customer service. Cashier was a little awkward and staff was otherwise all standing around near the entrance. But the young man was quick to answer my question and helpful
Probably a little more pricey than a big box store but there are actual HUMANS available to answer questions, lead you to an area a needed item is and even offer suggestions. Has a small town hardware store feel. Employees seem to like their jobs so hopefully they are treated well. If they don't have something and can't think of a substitute they have available they'll point you in the direction of a likely solution.

Exemplary customer service! Call and get a real person, not a phone maze. No thirty minutes or longer wait on hold, like their bigger competitors with the same or better pricing on the items I've purchased so far. In the store, everyone from the owner to the employees are friendly AND helpful. Dealing with and visiting Foster's has been a pleasure, as it should be and I appreciate them! Tell Bob I said hi!

I went in with my broken bird feeder and Mr. Steve was nice enough to help me fix the broken bird feeder. I really appreciate the time and effort he put into fixing my bird feeder.
Great customer service and they had the breaker that was needed to run a small sub-panel for a privately owned internet system.
This is the place you go when you need that one special item. Sure it might be a buck or two more than the big box stores, but these folk are courteous and very helpful. Definitely know where things are so you can get in and out and back to the project. I do recommend this outfit.
It is a typical small hardware store. No problems there.
Service is extremely good and the staff have excellent knowledge of inventory and are to give pertinent information concerning the project you are Working on.

I really do love the mom-and-pop shop feel of Foster’s Ace. Everyone in there is very friendly and always willing to reach out and help customers who are having to look around for merchandise. Very friendly staff, one of the few shops that hasn’t been bought out by a big box store. I will gladly pay a couple bucks more here at this store than go to Home Depot or Lowe’s. And they really do have probably 90% of what you’re looking for when you go to either of those big box stores. Please don’t let this place go out of business 👍🏻
Prices in this store high as heck, and very limited on choices. I'm trying to get shine wax for my floors, they didn't have much to choose from, the 32 oz mop and glow I get at Walmart for 5.99 is 10.99 in this store, FREAKING RIDICULOUS! And the cashier friendly service is non existent! Helpful customer service inside store but cashiers don't greet say thank you or anything.Don't waste your time or money going here, go to Walmart for daily household needs and Home Depot or Lowes for everything else and have more choices at almost half the price as here. Fosters is like the conveint store of hardware stores, less choices extremely higher prices!

If you’re going to watch for theft follow everyone around not certain races or people that look a certain way. People in business suits steal from people everyday!!!
