The Technition "Mr. Jorge" was very helpful and knowledgeable. Our AC broke down and he helped me get a great deal on a new unit. I also love the fact that we are getting new inside and outside unit at a great price. Financing was easy to obtain. Excellent service Mr. Jorge. Thank you for blessing us today. Excellent employee!
Hess Air recently did a thorough inspection and maintenance of my very old AC unit. I'm very satisfied and impressed with the service provided by their technician, Juan Garcia. Juan is very detailed, professional, honest, kind and knowledgeable. Juan made recommendations and improvements to my unit. He installed a new smart thermostat and patiently explained my options for future replacement. I also appreciate not being pushed heavily on a sale and having the focus on extending the life of my AC. I've been with Hess Air for years and highly recommend them!

4 techs came by to clean a mini split they couldn't figure out how and the charged me $75 .never call this people at least they look nice in pink.
I saw an add in the TV, offering the inside unit free.The technician came and explain, he listened our needs. Unfortunately he didn’t know about PUB rebate and procedures in Brownsville. That is the reason we didn’t choose them. He was kind and attentive.

The service was just to check the system integrity..the unit is a heat pump. All works fine 🙂.
over sold us on a larger system that we did not need. and they were not able to to install the correct thermostatand wires. i had to hire a different company to finish the job. probably would not recommend this co.

Great customer service during services & are quick to resolve conflicts when issues arise but would recommend shopping around for prices when work needs to be done.

I recently noticed my electric bill started creeping up starting June 2021, first 200, 300, 400 kw’s to finally Jan2022 1500 kw’s over the previous year usage. I called CPL to check my meter which they said was operating correctly. CPL said that much overage almost had to be an AC problem. On 4/27 I called for Jorge at Hess Air. He has worked with me since I bought my house in 2015. He supervised the moving of AC lines when I removed a wall. He has always taken extra steps and time to explain my system and what needed repair. My system checked out so then he moved outside to check the amps of each breaker. When he got to the garage he said this is the problem area and recommended turning off the window unit. I expectantly waited for a month to get my new electric bill. April usage was 2306 kw, I turned of window unit 4/27. May usage was 1345, almost half of the previous month. Then Jorge gave me some maintenance tips for the window unit to possible reduce its electric usage if I turn it back on. I couldn’t be happier and more satisfied with Jorge and Hess Air.
I think you need to shop around. Prices are rather steep for cleaning a system. No doubt they'll find more things wrong with your unit. Change your filters often and take a peek under to look at your coils to see if cleaning is needed. Hose off the dirt on the outside fan and just those little things will save you money both on repairs and electricity.
