My daughter is special needs and CANNOT have the temp in the house above 72. Childs Heating and Air not only came after a storm and a lightning strike caused a surge that burn through a part that shut down the unit, but came late at night, 1130pm fixed it and filled the coolant. We then had a clog on the inside unit (not hvac techie knowledgeable) that kept shutting the unit down. Again, Childs Heating and Air came and fixed the problem in like, five minutes. I highly recommend Child’s Heating and Air not only for the professionalism and great quality, but they truly care about their customers especially the special needs community. We’ve used them for over four years and will ONLY USE THEM.

I called Justin after my AC stopped working. He was able to come out the same day, and determined what the issue was (leak in evaporating coil). He gave me a very competitive estimate, which I accepted, and within 2 days, he had ordered a new evaporating coil,picked it up, and replaced the broken unit. He showed me where the leak was on the old unit and explained how the new unit was far less likely to rust and leak due to new materials. Very happy with the service Justin provided!
I don’t typically leave reviews, but these guys warrant a review. It started with a normal tune up call, and it ended up lasting a couple hours because they took the time to understand my concern. Even the owner stopped by to clarify the situation. In the end, I was satisfied with the results, and it didn’t seem pushy like any other HVAC company that suddenly finds 12,000 dollars worth of repairs that need to be made.

Child’s HVAC is great, they installed new heat and air system several years back and saves me hundreds yearly on electric bill. I also receive semi annual checkup. Prompt and efficient.
We had a great experience using Childs to fix our A/C! They were able to come same-day and get us cooled off. The scheduling was easy and they communicated throughout the day about their arrival time. Zech was our tech. He was professional, informative and worked quickly. Prices for the fix were reasonable and about what we expected to pay. We will definitely use Childs again!
