Cross Mechanical handle my maintenance for my ac and heat unit plus they installed a tankless water heater for my home. I would recommend them to anyone Service was on time and everything was professionally done
We’ve been customers with Cross Mechanical for almost 10 years. They provide very professional service and maintenance for our residence. We have their yearly maintenance contracts to keep the HVAC system they installed in 2016 running in Top notch condition. That being said, today on Christmas Eve we woke up to 60° temperatures downstairs and starting to get chilly upstairs. Needless to say, we have a house full of people coming over this evening for Christmas Eve celebration. We run one large furnace with two zones for upstairs and downstairs control. A high limiter sensor apparently went bad and they had someone out to my house within 30 minutes to diagnose the problem. Since it’s Christmas Eve the supply stores are closed and most likely if a part needs to be replaced we would be stuck until Tuesday but the technician was able to call another technician and find a temporary part on his truck. The other technician brought it over in 20 minutes and put it in the unit to give us a temporary fix until the factory part comes in sometime this next week. My wife was really starting to panic as most women I know do not like the cold, especially in their home and with so many people coming over. This is just one example of the effort made by a company that truly goes above and beyond year after year. Highly recommend their maintenance contract to protect the longevity of your system. I've had Cross Mechanical replace both my upstairs and downstairs HVAC units. Additionally I've had them do an annual inspection since the installation. They are absolutely excellent! The office staff is friendly & polite, they arrive on time, are professional, do a high quality installation and Kevin Cross does a great job answering any questions. I would say their pricing is about average but the job they do is well worth it!
I lived outside the area when I purchased my home in Greer and I needed quotes for replacement of an existing end-of-life HVAC system which needed to be installed prior to my move. I contacted three companies in the greater Greenville area which included Cross Mechanical. They were not only the friendliest and most professional company, but they also gave me the fastest, most detailed and lowest quote of the three. I was especially pleased because the quote was for a Trane system which is a true quality product. The installation was completed prior to my arrival and has been functioning perfectly since. I am extremely grateful for their excellent service and product.
Great company! All my expectations were completely met. They arrived on schedule, covered all the necessary floorings with protective drop cloths, and had the old Air Handler removed (from the attic space) in a mere two hours - "Like Magic"!! Complete install finished in two days, with a fine tune adjustment follow-up made at the one week. Highly recommend Cross Mechanical for your HVAC needs!!
After moving to the Greenville area from out of state , we were faced with a crazy housing market. Once we bought our house, a home inspection identified issues with the two furnaces. Not knowing any vendors in the area we asked the inspection company for referrals. They provided us a list of known and favored service cos. Cross Mechanical was the first to respond. The tech came out the next day, assessed the problem, gave us “ cure” options and were back when promised, on time and professional. We will be using them for preventative maintenance for all of our HVAC needs. Everyone we dealt with in this company were professional, knowledgeable and personable.
They are ever professional and they do high Quality work. They are very nice people to work with , would not use no one but them.
Our first experience with Cross Mechanical was replacement of HVAC system in one of our rental houses. The workers were very professional, everything was completed in a timely manner, and we were very pleased with the work performed. As a matter of fact, when the aged HVAC system in our own house failed, it was a no-brainer - we called Cross Mechanical!
This is the most wonderful company I have ever worked with. I wouldn't choose any other one to ever work on my HVAC ever and here's why. We came down with COVID on the day that we were scheduled for our heating system to be replaced because it had been causing problems. The appointment had to be put off for two weeks but unfortunately before that two weeks was up our heater went out leaving us with no heat in the middle of winter. The guys were so gracious and masked up and came into my house anyway and replaced the heater knowing that they didn't have time with their other jobs to include the A/C but got the heat on. They then came back a couple weeks later and finished all the duct work and the A/C.
Juan and Hanna just left and they were knowledgeable, professional and saved me some money. My HVAC works great now. Thank you and I'm signing up for the annual maintenance program.

Sorry it has taken me over a year to post this review. I have nothing but high praise for Cross Mechanical and the technician who came out to my home. His name is Edgar Juan. I had nothing but trouble from my heat and air unit from almost the time I bought it. The company who sold it to me tried to blame it on me. I had it fixed three times at $750 each time. I was at the end of my rope and finances. My neighbor recommended Cross Mechanical. They were on time and did a wonderful job! I finally have a working unit for the first time in 5 years. The repairs they did worked! They did it right! Thank you so much. I’ll always use your company.

They were very rude and condescending...they would not give me a quote! They were recommended to me by a neighbor, so I sent them an RFQ. Near the end of the RFQ, it said that it is an objective (goal) for the system to last a long time (25+ years with little maintenance...I note that the system that I currently have has lasted 31+ years so far, so I don't think that to be an unrealistic goal…regardless, it is a goal, not a requirement, and no other installer candidate had an issue with it). I think that ANY customer/homeowner, getting a new and expensive HVAC system, would want it to last a long time. Their representative, Jill, called me the following Monday, and said that they could not warrant the system for 25 years. I told her that I was not asking for that, or for any warranty past what they, and Trane, typically offer (i.e., it was an objective or goal, not a mandate). Jill argued with me in a condescending manner, saying that I really wanted a 25 year warranty (she just knew it). Jill basically called me (her customer) a liar! I told her that, since I wrote the RFQ, I know what I says, and I know what I meant to say, and what I want. Since Jill “ticked me off” and didn't seem to understand the difference between an objective and a warranty requirement, I asked to talk to her superior in order to try to solve the problem. I told her superior (Kathy) that I did not appreciate her subordinate's condescending attitude, and that she was insisting on misunderstanding the RFQ for some reason. I told her that it didn't matter anyway, since an RFQ is not a contract or warranty, but a request. After some unproductive discussion, I agreed to re-submit an edited version of the RFQ (with the long lasting objective removed), so that there would be no confusion, and since that objective seemed to be a real problem for them (something that I still don’t understand). I resubmitted the edited version (again, I note that removed objective was not an issue for any oth
Cross Mechanical is a phenomenal company! Highly recommend! After a terrible experience with a different HVAC company, Cross Mechanical was a breath of fresh air. They were very prompt and able to make it out to my home to diagnose my broken air conditioner within a day. Kevin was transparent with what was broken and what repairs and replacement would cost. If you’re looking for an honest company to service your HVAC, then give them a shot.
I can't believe how fair their prices were. I had a quote for over 10k for a new entry level hvac from a different company. When I called them up and got my quote for my new Trane, the quote was way lower and service was great. I just got my new hvac 3 days ago and while the cost is never awesome to have to pay, it was still way less than their competitor. You should definitely check them out. I will be a customer for as long as I'm in the upstate.
I've used Cross Mechanical several times. Always a great experience with quality dependable work. Never been more thankful than having the AC go out on a summer holiday night and having Lin save us from a miserably hot week! Thank you! - Tricia
