They were sent to us by American Home Shield , the first company ahs Assigned to us couldn’t be here until a week out and I told ahs my daughter had just been discharged from the hospital that day and was very ill and I am 85 and my wife is 82 and we need our air fixed sooner so they sent us Honesty services. Ahs sent us a window or 9 to. 12. But Honesty called back and gave us a window of 12 to 6. The worker showed up a few minutes before 6. He told us what he needed and said he would be back the next morning and put the fan in the ac. The next day some one in the office called and said they were scheduling him to come another week away. I told her the gentleman said he would be back the next day. And she said he didn’t make appointments that she did. It shouldn’t have been an appointment e was just finishing the job he started. This has been a terrible experience
We are disgusted with honesty services. Our home warranty company assigned them to us for an air conditioning repair. They couldn’t come out until Friday between 12 and 6 and we called them on a Saturday. Almost a week without a/c in July. Friday comes and we call at 3 pm to get status and they said the tech was running behind but we were next on his list. At 7 pm he had not called or showed up. We call back and the office is closed. Our home warranty company sent a message to their office and we never got a response. We called Saturday morning and they said the the technician arrived at 6:10 pm. We were all home and have a CPI doorbell… no one came to the door and no one called, he flat out lied. The girl in the office after laughing at our frustration said they couldn’t come out today and we would have to get back on their schedule for next week… completely unacceptable. Next call better business bureau. Use anyone but honesty services , they are anything but honest….
Submitted a claim with AHS for my jetted tub and Honesty was assigned. Tech came out, we filled the tub and he watched how water came out but pressure in some of the jets were much lower than the others that were full force. He advised that jets aren't covered but would enter a ticket to see what they say. Upon reading the "tech notes" online, I saw he lied and submitted a ticket that read, "Jets no water come out, there is an internal blocking but no mechanical failure with the motor, tech don't work on jets." To have "Honesty" in your name and then lie about what was observed and actually happening, is not right. Yes, AHS doesn't cover jets, but at least properly provide notes that aren't blatent lies to benefit your company and a claim.
Our AC unit was out from Sun-Thursday morning, which is when Billy C. showed up to save the day!!! He was on time (actually, early!), diagnosed the problem in less than 10 minutes, and had our system up and running very quickly! My dad is disabled and hasn't been able to change the filters, and Billy went the extra mile to change them for us! We are SO appreciative of his professionalism, attention to detail, and his compassion to help us out. We give Billy and Honesty 10 stars!! Thank you!!
They were very responsive, upfront on cost and scope of repairs. Cody was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with to get a prompt resolution to the leak. Thanks Cody!!
Submitted for an AC Tune-Up through American Home Shield back in April and was assigned Honesty for the job. Tech came out and 'fulfilled' the service. However, two months later, I'm working with a new contractor (NOT through AHS) who is re-servicing the AC Unit because Honesty did such a useless job. Take a look at these photos. Does this look like a unit that was cleaned two months ago? Waste of $100. Cost me more money in follow-up servicing fees. I went to AHS and worked out a partial refund. Also stated I would be canceling any claim they assigned to Honesty moving forward
Don’t ever trust a name with “Honesty”. Honest they are not. This is the second time in two years I’ve dealt with this company and they are far from honest. Last year they came out for a a/c tune up through American Home Shield( this company is trash too)and offered recommendations on the a/c because the unit was not cooling the house as expected. They told us what they thought would take to fix it and a quote. We allowed them to “fix” the issue on their recommendation. The service man told us after he got done “ this is not going to help” and offered his personal recommendation. Took them two or more weeks to come back out. My issue it the old bait and switch method. Keep adding more repairs to drive up the price. The money was never the issue. Fix it right the first time so we don’t get charged service fees every time they come out. This year tried to get another tune up of course we were offered services from honesty again. Set a date for them to come out. I called to try to change the date but instead they cancelled on me but still got paid by AHS. They lied and said I cancelled when I specifically asked for a new date but was told they were canceling and referring me back to AHS. But because of their lie I can’t get a free tune up because AHS already paid them. Stay far away. They need to be renamed “DISHONESTY MECHANICAL”..Just saying
I had a small but problematic leak from the hose leaving the hot water tank on a Friday bumping into a 3-day weekend and Honesty Services was able to get a very friendly and professional technician, Cody, out within an hour. He was able to flex within a busy schedule, again, being a Friday, to install two bathroom faucets my wife had always wanted and was able to pick up while he was working on the leak. He presented options, potential risks, which didn't happen but I appreciated knowing. (I somehow got more room under the sinks due to the installation.) I had a good overall experience and am having them bid on pipe and HVAC replacements. Full service. I recommend them from what I have seen so far.
Very professional and trustworthy. Shared details of the cause of the issue. Will definitely use them again for any future services.
We have used Honesty Services for several years. They are very timely and professional.
"Brand new" unit keeps freezing up. They've been out multiple times to fix it. Scheduled a visit then they forgot. Put us back on the schedule and didn't show up. Have an 11 month old baby who's throwing up from the heat. Definitely putting in a call to BBB and Action 9.
They were very responsive to service request and came out super quick to address requested plumbing service.
They scheduled promptly, diagnosed the issue, and relayed the solution. Work had to be done here to make the area accessible. They ordered the part, advised when it arrived, and kept in close touch to reschedule the actual repair while we waited for necessary work to be completed. The work was done professionally, courteously, and we are happy with the process and with the expertise of the technician and office staff!
If I had to review on Tech Daniel’s work alone I’d most likely give him 4 to 5 stars and I’m only saying 4 stars because someone else had to suggest I call the warranty company to repair the hole he created to fix the leak. Apart from that he did top notch work, was professional and communicated unlike the first technician sent out by the company. The first tech said there was not a leak (see photos) which ended up causing me another service fee with the warranty company (American Home Shield) because said technician reported NO LEAK so they closed my claim. I honestly wouldn’t do business with this company again unless they were sending out Daniel because he’s the only one I know I can trust.
Randy was great, he arrived on time and got to work found the problem and repaired it. Very happy with the service.
Billy was a great help explain everything to me where I could understand and got my HVAC up in running in no time I appreciate his business
I had my outdoor unit and coil replaced and all the employees were great and scheduling was fast. I have to say technician Barry was the best. He went above and beyond. He was polite and professional and I just really appreciate his good work. Highly recommend this company for your HVAC needs.
The employees and especially the technicians are all top notch. On time and very polite and professional. I purchased my HVAC system from them and have used them for the maintenance for the past five years. Always consistent service.
So, AHS sent Rapps to our homes in the past for various repairs, and after we dropped AHS, we called Rapps who are now Honesty Mechanical. We've had to call them for help at two separate homes, and both times, we've had a very positive experience. They lady is very courteous and friendly, they are able to send someone on the same day, within the window, and will call at least 30 minutes before they arrive, if you request them to. The technicians seem to know their stuff, they have offered straightforward, economical solutions to fix the issue both times. Would highly recommend! Also, their minimum fee is just over half what most others charge ($49 v89).
