A shout out to American Air Heating & Cooling. We had issues with our a/c draining and AA came through with a same day turnaround service. Tyler was very efficient and qualified in his problem solving and didn't skip a beat in resolving our issue. In today's current cultural lack of customer service, AA proved that there are still companies out there that work hard to provide excellent service.
Adam Breton, the technician from American Air Heating and Cooling Inc, fixed my air conditioner on 6/27/2022. Without a doubt, Mr. Breton was on time, polite, professional and most of all appeared to be an expert on all phases of air conditioning repair because he explained the problem in layman’s terms and fixed it right away. As a senior citizen on limited income, I was very comfortable with both Mr. Breton and the price of the repair. As of today, my air conditioner is working perfectly. Thank you God. FYI: American Air Inc. has an air service membership where the technician comes out twice a year and clean, tuneup and service your heating and cooling system. I’m definitely going to purchase this membership with this outstanding company.

Both my husband and I work from home so when the air condition stopped cooling the house it created an emergency situation especially with temperatures and the heat index in the 100s! I called and explained the situation and Chad, the business owner was able to come out to my house the same day that I spoke with him. He was able to correctly diagnose the problem and fix it! At the time of this review, the temperature is slowly dropping from HELL to a more comfortable temperature! :-) I appreciate the responsiveness from American Air Heating & Cooling and their willingness to accommodate us.
When Dave came on my last semi annual cleaning and inspection he highly recommended an air cleaner that was installed on the unit (I think that’s where it went). Two days after installation my daughter walked in and said “Dad your house smells great”. Thank you Dave. I have two HVAC units and won’t trust anyone but American Heating and Air to do my maintenance and/or repairs.
Y’all! Look no further! I am so glad that I called this company for help. They were so friendly on the phone, fit me in quickly & fixed our heat/furnace problem for a more than reasonable cost. Shoutout to Thomas for being the best tech! I will sing your praises to everyone & thank you so much for the five star experience!
My home warranty company sent American Air to my home before for service and I was happy to see them again yesterday when my AC died. Great techs — honest, thorough and really understand customer service. Will call them when we are ready to replace our systems.
Service today was not expected; and not in the best way. Will update after resolution. 7/24/2021 Update: The gist of the story is—I asked the technician to wear a mask upon arrival. He said, begrudgingly, he didn’t have one and asked me for one. I provided a new KN95 mask. He didn’t wear it over his nose. I asked him to pull it over his nose. He ignored me at first, until I said “sir, will you please cover both your mouth and nose.” At that time, he gave me a disgruntled sounding huff and barely covered his nose. I asked him promptly, yet politely to leave which he did. When contacting the office immediately to inform them of the event, the owner answered; interrupted my complaint, and told me: “We’re not going to wear a mask in a hot attic. If you don’t like it, find somewhere else.” I’m paraphrasing but using the same words he used. This all transpired before the tech even got to my attic! I don’t have unreasonable expectations, but I do expect my space to be respected, professionalism, and the safety and health guidelines for COVID-19 to be held in high respect. This isn’t a complete step by step review because that would be too long. Just know, from my recent interactions, I would NEVER call this place again (or be assigned through my home warranty). They don’t care about providing a great customer service experience!

American Air Heating & Cooling continues to impress us. They installed an AC and furnace at our home in July. Today, we were pleased to have Devin come to do a checkup on both of our AC units. I have never in my life seen a technician take so much time to thoroughly clean and perform an annual maintenance visit on AC units. Devin was incredibly professional, detailed and informative. We are happy we chose American Air to replace one of our units last summer and even more pleased with the great job Devin did for us today. Highly recommend!!
We have been having issues with the upstairs heat actually heating the downstairs master/master bathroom. David was here all of 35-40 minutes, diagnosed the issues, fixed and tested. David was professional and respectful. American Air has earned a customer for life because of this. Thank you!
I called at 8 am and received service at 4 pm on the same say. From the appointment person to my tech everyone was professional and nice. Pricing was up front and accurate. I will definitely use them for all my needs in the future.
They always provide excellent service, with courteous repairman who take great care to preserve social distancing and to make sure that I can count on my systems working when I need them. Investing in an annual HVAC checkup program from them is one of the best things I've ever done.
I called for a estimate on a new furnace. Chad came to my home & said he would send me several estimate options. After 2 weeks, I have yet to hear from anyone at American Air. I had another company do the job instead. Update- Response to American Air comment - No need to call you. The work has been completed by another company.
This company gave me a quote for replacing my heat and air. The tech showed up on time and was very informative. He also gave me a very nice booklet about American Air, it states a best price guarantee. I ended up using another local mid-size company who's cost was 30% less. I called American Air five times to talk about the price guarantee, the last time I spoke with anyone the owner was supposed to contact me. He never did. From my experience American Heat and Air is a large, high-priced company who is not interested in backing up their price guarantee.
THE WORST! I had an associate come out to my home and check on my HVAC system. He said I was low on freon and that I needed about 2 pounds more. I was going to pay out of pocket. After he filled it up, he said there was a leak coming from a bad TXV value and that I need a new one and it would cost about $1800. Sorry, I don't have that kind of cash on hand, so I told him I had to go through my home warranty. The Tech got spooked and didn't know what to do. He told me to call his boss, Chad Jr. and he said he would contact my home warranty company and get it all worked out. I was then reassured by the Tech Jamie AND Chad Jr. that they would not leave me high and dry. Well, It's been over THREE WEEKS and I've heard NOTHING and Chad Jr. won't even return my phone call! THANKS FOR NOTHING!!
I was referred by a friend. Within 24 hours Dave came to my home and serviced and cleaned both ac units. Very professional.
What a great family owned business! This company goes above and beyond to make their customers happy. They also do so much for our community. Definitely use them for your heating and cooling needs. They will not disappoint.
