I have been using Coastal for years to perform my biannual maintenance. Last year James became my technician, and I couldn't be more satisfied. He is professional and does a very thorough job!
I can not say Thank you enough to Coastal Air. When my air unit stopped working on me as a heat advisory was issued. I contacted Coastal Air and my new unit was installed the next day as promised. The installation team was amazing. I was informed of every step of the installation. Once completed I was shown how the new unit worked. All my questions were answered in a professional and knowledgeable manner. I can not express how respectful the installation team was to me and my home. I highly recommend Coastal Air for your heating and cooling needs.

I have used Coastal on a few occasions for a couple of investment properties. They have been on time, reasonably priced and effective.
This company did a great job replacing my old in efficient HVAC system. They installed a Daikin Fit variable speed drive condenser and air handler 17 Seer. The price, delivery was really good compared to the Trane and Carrier and installation crew did a great job. I would recommend Coast Air Soluations and the Daikin Fit System to anyone.
Coastal Air Solutions was recommended by a good friend. One phone call later, okay, it was two phone calls later, a young lady arrived at my home, and after spending some time with me and my wife, she had overloaded our wagon. However, she helped us sort through our wagon and then she scheduled the boys. The boys showed up and less than one day and a half all was completed. We had out entire HVAC system, including ductwork replaced. We replaced our existing package unit with a split-unit. We decided on a Daikin Fit unit. Our existing ductwork was under our home. It was completely removed and disposed. The new ductwork was installed in our homes attic. Professional workmanship from start to finish. The Daikin Fit condenser is nearly the size of my Mitsubishi mini-split condenser and just as quiet. Coastal Air Solutions offers all the biggest name brands on the market. You owe it to yourself to speak with them before you decide on any HAVC work you are in need off. New construction. Replacement. Service or maintenance. And by the way, I still have my good friend!!
5 Stars for Coastal Air! Techs James and Curtis were both great! Performed maintenance on 2 units and installed new thermostats. Friendly and efficient. Came out after hours to repair a faulty thermostat and called the next morning to make sure everything was working properly. Curtis went above and beyond to make sure the job was done and done right. We won’t be using anyone else!
Had to replace entire hvac system. Other than the fact they had to keep scheduling to come back due to parts needed, replacement was well done. The problem with them having to return 3 times is the same team never returned so neither knew what the other team had completed or needed to finish install since it was their first time seeing the unit.

Incredible Service and Impeccable Professionalism (long read) My primary A/C unit has been on its “last leg” for the better part of year. I had been delaying getting it replaced until it was absolutely necessary. On the day of a business trip, the newly installed compressor started tripping the breaker. On the day of my return, upon landing in Charleston, I called my home builder as we maintain a good relationship. I asked who he utilizes for the HVAC systems in his new construction homes. He immediately referred me to Dale and Coastal Air. I called Dale at 10 AM on Friday. He arrived at my place to inspect the unit around 2 PM. By 5 PM that day, I had a quote for 2 systems that would work. (I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that his quote was approximately $4,000 less than a competitor for the exact same unit!) I committed to having Coastal Air install my new unit. The install crew: Zach, Jamie, and Gavin, arrived around 8:30 AM Wednesday morning. (Bear in mind this is just 5 days after my return.) Rarely have I had an experience like the one I have had with Coastal Air. The crew was punctual, courteous, and professional! They immediately began working to replace the old unit. They were prepared and incredibly efficient. Moreover, they went above and beyond as I asked them to inspect the register on another floor that was not at all related to the unit they replaced. Without hesitation, they immediately went into the attic and even identified what could have been a catastrophic event (the drain lines were clogged and there was standing water in the pan.) They blew out the line and even installed a ball valve at no additional charge. Finally, they provided a true turnkey solution as they were impeccable in cleaning up and leaving no trace that they had been there. What more can I say? They exemplify professionalism; their pricing is fantastic; they are punctual and courteous; and they are efficient! They have my highest praise and have my full endorsement as an HV
After trying a few other companies we got it right with Coastal Air Solutions! We were very PLEASED with the urgency, service, expertise, and explanation of the problem with our A/C system. Their team went above and beyond our expectations. We would recommend this company to family and friends and will be a repeat customer.
Super responsive and had a team here within about 1.5 hours of my initial call. Chris and AJ were helpful, explained issues clearly, and followed through with next steps after the initial service call. Dale, the owner, gave us the estimate on a new system and answered all of our questions completely and accurately. The install team was on time, professional, and left no mess for us. Great experience overall!
They did a great job. Only took one day and they left the house the same as it was. Would recommend them to anyone.
Called this company to get a repair in 2022. Received a call from a tech giving me a time then not even 5 mins later the Owner Dale Morris calls asking questions. When i told him that i did get a quote from his company a year ago about replacing my hvac and i informed him i went with another company because they offered a better price, he immediately cancelled the appointment, informed me I'll be at the back of the line and told me this was happens when i try and save money and i should call the other company. ABSOLUTELY horrid customer service from the owner
Coastal Air installed our system in 2019, today they did our scheduled fall maintenance. The Tech was Gavin, He was fantastic, through, friendly, he explained everything he did. I highly recommend Coastal Air and especially Gavin. -Ed Haraway
Charged me a 125 dollars to tell me that they don’t have a blower motor when I described the issue with the ac over the phone. Had to call Blake and Son whom had a completely stocked parts supply in his van. They took care of the problem and did a full check of the ac system on the spot. I wouldn’t advise using coastal air unless you want to wait on a basic ac part that other companies carry in the vehicle. Complete waste of money.
