Was great and easy!! Tech was awesome!
Kaleb was amazing and working with Estes was super simple. Within 15 minutes of our call our tech was on his way. He came in, tested, confirmed and fixed the gas leak issue in about 20 minutes!
the service is excellent and always timely. We are happy that we have them as our AC Vendor. They do 2 preventive service calls each year.

It’s easy to use Google as a forum when you have a bad experience; in this case, I had the opposite. They showed up when they said they would, they quoted a price for the agreed on scope of work, they did the work that they said they would do, and they finished early. I provided a t-stat; they installed. I did a full installation - all new ducts, plus a new packaged unit. They worked with me on timing and got the job done quickly and efficiently, without incident. What is so noteworthy is that there’s nothing to report - they did what they said they would do in the time frame they said they would do it in. I wish every contractor I work with was this easy and did what they said they would do.
The technician was very thorough and had a high degree of professionalism. It was obvious that he was also extremely knowledgeable.

We had a new mini split HVAC system added to our home this week by Estes. Our 3400 sq ft home was underserved with our original furnace/AC system that was built for 2300 sq ft of living space. The daylight basement was finished at a later time way before we moved here. We could never get good heat or air, especially in our master bedroom and we were regularly receiving “nasty grams” from Duke energy berating us for not being “efficient” like similarly sized homes. But our home was 1000 sq ft larger than Duke had us registered as. In the summer if it was 90° outside the main (upper) floor would not cool below 77° which was impossible for cooking. Also we had to install a window unit air conditioner in the master bedroom in order to sleep. No air could make it to our bedroom at the far side of the house due to the venting which served the up and downstairs- and mostly the little used downstairs. Charles B and his crew worked the full day installing the new add-on to the old system. Such a professional crew and excellent work! They separated the upstairs venting from the downstairs and the old system now will only heat or cool the upstairs. The new system will control the downstairs. Yesterday we experienced air coming through our bedroom vents for the first time. Wow was that nice. We cannot thank Estes Heating & Air enough for the excellent new HVAC install with all the new components inside and out. Also the crew was spot on in covering their shoes for keeping my floors clean though they had numerous trips to the outside. On and off came the shoe covers “with a smile!” And the price was very reasonable! Glad we didn’t wait any longer to have this done.
Quick response time, Eroises (fill-in technician), that was sent out knew exactly what the resolution was as soon as I explained the issue to him! It was fixed in no time and we had heat once again. Thank you E!!
Great and knowledgeable guy
Estes staff are very friendly, polite and professional. Communication was clear and timely. Our technician, Jaime Polenco, was very personable and a pleasure to work with. He was kind to answer all my questions in detail and to thoughtfully educate me on my heating system so that I could better understand the current challenge and how to address/avoid it in the future. I highly recommend Estes Heating and Air.
