Was looking for a trustworthy company and found Elmer and Sally. They still care about the quality. They aren't overgrown with contracts and special pricing. They will do right by you. Once you talk with them, you will know that they do this as a service to help others

Very honest and integrity driven. Showed me every step of the way as to why the unit did not work. Went above and beyond what I had asked for. He cut a portion of the drain pipe and installed a new elbow pipe for free. Put on a slip cover on his shoes to prevent tracking dirt into the house and laid a blanket on the floor in case of dust falling down. I’d recommend Elmer to all.
Elmer is extremely thorough in everything he does. Takes the time to take pictures and explains what he’s found during his maintainence checks and offers useful recommendations to improve HVAC performance. He’s always on time, friendly, professional. He is meticulous in all he does. I highly recommend this business.
Mura-Tech is THE BEST HAVC service company in the Charleston area. Honest, knowledgeable, fair pricing, and with an extraordinary work ethic. The technicians are highly trained and experts in HVAC systems. Elmer and the company makes sure that each job is done with the highest quality and I can't speak highly enough about his skills, knowledge, job performance and professionalism. My job was one that was complicated and Mura-Tech gave me an honest assessment and offered to do additional research on my systems integration. The job was completed on time, under cost, and done the right way, saving me time and money, and preventing system issues in the future. I have been in construction for 10+ years and will only use Mura-Tech. You should too.
If you're looking for an HVAC company that is completely transparent about what is needed, won't upcharge you, and is genuinely looking out for their customer's well being, then look no further than Elmer Murillo and Mura-Tech Services!! I can't say enough good things about this company! So I'll let my experience tell it: We bought our house a few years back that had an almost 20 year old hvac system, so I knew it would need to be replaced. I had a friend in HVAC who quoted me a new unit, inside coil, and furnace. As I waited for him to be available to perform the replacement, the fan motor outside died... 2 days before some friends were to stay with us. I found Mr. Murillo and his company, Mura-Tech services and decided to call them about an emergency repair. Elmer showed up promptly and was very forthcoming about what exactly needed to be replaced and how much it would cost. He replaced the motor and had us cooling again quickly. He even stayed by to ensure the unit cycled and cooled properly before leaving. Price was exactly as stated. I told him about my replacement scheduling issues getting my HVAC buddy, and for him to provide his quote for the same work. To my surprise his price was almost EXACTLY what my friend had quoted me. I agreed to the work and a few days later him and his guys showed up and busted tail to get the A/C replaced and running again before they left. I swear they didn't even break for lunch. They ensured nothing was scratched or damaged during install, and that everything was cleaned up nicely. Once again, Mr. Murillo wouldn't leave until he was certain that the unit was functioning properly. Top notch service through and through!
Elmer provided amazing service when he completed a HVAC maintenance check on my equipment. He was very thorough, patient and knowledgeable. In addition, he took the time to explain everything to me and the quality of service was phenomenal. Also, I received great customer service when scheduling my appointment and discussing what I needed to have done. AMAZING Service! This is the kind of service you dream of! Our AC went out on Friday afternoon of Memorial Day weekend. I called 4 other AC services in town and they told me it would be 4 days before they could make it to my place. This was an emergency as I have a young kid and dog and the house was getting extremely hot. I called Mura-Tech and Elmer picked up right away and said he would be there in 15 minutes! He was right on time and had my ac fixed within in an hour at very reasonable cost. He even texted me a week later to check in to make sure everything was still working good. Above and beyond service that is very professional. I highly recommend!
Elmer came out on a Sunday. He diagnosed the problem, replaced the capacitor and had us up and running again. He explained everything and made sure I understood the repair. I was so impressed by the professionalism, quality of service and fair price. He kept the costs to an absolute minimum. I would highly recommend Mura-tech.

Let me start by saying I worked in Property Management for 10+ years and have dealt with a lot of HVAC specialists. I tend to only write a review when I’ve either received really great or really terrible service. Mura-Tech is the epitome of excellent service. Elmer showed up on time and was a total gentleman. He did research prior to his arrival on my unit. He repaired my heat after several reputable companies couldn’t. I’d give Mura-Tech 100 stars if possible.
EXCELLENT WORK & HONEST! Naturally, system went out before Christmas & the cold. Elmer came out day of Christmas Eve, repaired it, & waited a couple of heat cycle to ensure it would stay on. He explained what broke & what he did to fix it. He's our HVAC guy now!
Elmer (the owner of the business) arrived 5 minutes before our scheduled appointment time and was extremely thorough inspecting and performing annual maintenance on our 2 HVAC units. His attention to detail and expertise were readily apparent, and we can't recommend him any more strongly for any kind of HVAC work. Very good prices for honest and thorough work. Looking forward to working with him for years to come.
