They were awesome installing my new ac system !
They were awesome from start to finish. Called and left a message twice and both times received a call back quickly which was a pleasant surprise. Joe Liggins was sent out and he was by far the best I’ve met in the HVAC world. Knowledgeable, patient, explained everything, gave maintenance tips, just overall awesome. My warranty is about done with them but I’ll keep calling them and recommend them for anyone else.
A neighbor recommended this company and we thoroughly impressed with the quote, the installation and the follow through. We had a very challenging replacement to say the least but the crew was diligent, worked hard on one of the hottest days of the year and then took the time to explain the thermostat and the new equipment to us before they left. They cleaned up after themselves and we couldn't be happier with their services. Would highly recommend!

On a warm day in early May I had the unpleasant experience of turning on my homes air conditioning system and not seeing the inside temperature drop. Shortly thereafter my wife informed me that the air blowing from the vents 'lacked coolness' and that I had better do something to remedy the situation. Having been thus incentivized I looked to my neighborhood blog website (Nextdoor) for local recommendations and found Pleasant Air Conditioning to be highly recommended and gave them a call. I didn't expect to get a service call scheduled for a few day and was very happy to hear that someone would be out within 1 to 2 hours. The technician arrived on time and within 20 minutes cool air was flowing out of the vents. This fix was followed up with a check of my system for any other issues and a few recommendations regarding missing insulation. The solution to my problem was the removal of an unfortunate amphibian had not appreciated the implied threat of a 'danger- electric hazard' sign. In short I was very impressed with Pleasant Air, would recommend them to everyone and would not hesitate to call them back for any issue including replacing my system when finally necessary.
Jeremy came out on a hot weekend to help us. We had a very old unit from the '80s and the compressor blew. We knew we would need a new a/c. They created a better stand, hood and installed the thermostat. They helped us understand how it works, various availability of parts, location of the stores in the area and returned to check on us. Thank you again! Very reliable and knowledgeable.
Very professional technicians. Installation was done very quickly. Thanks to a new energy efficient HVAC system, my electric bill is half what it was with my old system. The first annual maintenance is included. The service technician was thorough and knowledgeable. I recommended Pleasant Air Conditioning and Electric to my neighbor, who also had them install a new HVAC system, and was as pleased as I was. I highly recommend this company.
My 20 year old air conditioning unit finally quit and of course it was the hottest day of the year. To the rescue Pleasant AC. They came right out and diagnosed the issue. Then scheduled me the next day for my new unit. The new unit has saved me about 40 % in utility bills. The owner Jermay, Lauren and Ryan have been a pleasure to work with. Great Service!!
Jeremy and his team did an excellent job installing my new HVAC system. My old upstairs unit was undersized and would run all day long. Pleasant Air replaced the unit and worked with me to increase the tonnage by 0.5 and now my upstairs stays nice and cool. Pretty soon I'll have my old (18 year old) downstairs unit replaced as well by Pleasant Air. I know they'll do a fantastic job!
Pleasant Air installed our central air and heat a year ago. They were highly recommended by a neighbor and we are sure glad they were. Their prices were very competitive and since the installation, they have answered all our questions and have been out twice so far with no charge to do winter and summer maintenance. Extremely happy!!
First off, the owner (Jeremy) personally returned my call within 10 minutes of my leaving a message. (None of the other 4 companies I contacted even called me back within 24hrs)...additionally he did not have his assistant/secretary/salesman call. He did. Within that same day one of his foremen (Joe) came to talk to me and assess my system. I mostly know what I want and he was not trying to "sell me" on anything (services/equipment) we didn't discuss beforehand. He had some suggestions on things but left that up to me to decide. I'm a "trust but verify" guy (Thanks Pres Reagan) and did my due diligence on the system he was going to install and compared all quotes received apples/apples. By far his price was the most competitive with everything that was installed (Full 3T HVAC system). We scheduled the install date and his two techs were here on time and ready to work. It took them all day as it was a pretty big job. They too were very courteous and respectfull of my home. Long and short of it when you do your research you're going to utilize Jeremy and Pleasant Air Conditioning and Electric.
Everything was handled professionally, from the estimate through the installation of a complete new HVAC system. I dealt with the business owner, estimator, technicians and office staff, and all were great. The price for the top-quality Trane equipment was the best among all those I contacted in the Charleston area. They improved our ductwork, which substantially increased airflow to the farthest rooms. This was the easiest and most-value-for-the-money HVAC transaction I've ever experienced, and I've been through 6 system replacements in various homes in my life, so that's saying something! Thanks Pleasant Air.
New AC/Heating system installed 2 yrs ago by Pleasant Air Conditioning. My neighbors are constantly having maintenance repairs But, my System is quiet and efficient and my ele bills have actually gone down! Great product, price, installers were prompt, efficient and clean.
I have used Pleasant A/C over the years and they keep getting better. They installed a new system in my rental property last year. I received an email from them last week wanting to come back out and do a COMPLIMENTARY check of the system. I’ve never had an a/c company do that. I recommend them whenever I can.
This company installed a new HVAC system for our entire home as well as a mini-split. Every appointment was timely, pricing was competitive and everyone at the company has been easy to work with and kind. I also work in a service industry and know the importance of everything they get right!
I get my hvac service done religiously and Pleasant air spent more time and did everything that would normally take 2 companies to perform on a checkup in my experience.
Pleasant AC is a great company; always very friendly and professional. Jeremy and his team do great work and do not try to over sell you on things you do not really need. If you need HVAC work done right and at a reasonable cost, you should definitely give them a call. I cannot recommend them enough.
Pleasant Air is the most responsive, on time, 'do what we say' HVAC company. They installed 2 new ac/heating units about a year ago, and I have nothing but rave reviews of their professionalism and work ethic. They respond immediately to any issues...especially during a heating or cooling "emergency". They do routine maintenance on their equipment and always with a smile. They communicate well and are on time,knowlegable, and literally "Pleasant". So nice to deal with a company of integrity. I would highly recommend them to anyone .
Jeff and Jeremy made this entire experience so easy. From our first call to the office, to the install of our new AC at our house, was just a matter of hours. I'm looking forward to the summer now! EDIT: One year later, Lauren contacted me and said I'm up for a complimentary maintenance on air AC unit. She genuinely seemed so excited to give this to us, and the tech came out right on time, and even changed our air filters for us. He didn't need to do that, but I certainly appreciate how nice these people are. Five stars all the way.
