This review goes out to IJ Tech Mechanical's Harrisburg location and employees. We lost our air conditioning approximately a week ago. I didn't want to go with a huge company in fear of being ripped off or blindly getting talked into more than what I needed. Money is getting tight these days with major home repairs. I know the CEO of this company. He's been in the business for over 36 years. I knew I could trust him with the decision making when it came to my homes HVAC system. He had it checked out immediately by one of his service guys Ray. Ray was thorough and professional. I felt that my AC emergency was dealt with both professionalism and promptness throughout my experience with this company. It can be difficult at times when you're a single female homeowner. You're not sure who to trust and if they're being honest with you. I felt like some other companies in the past have taken my money unnecessarily. Eric communicated though phone calls to me on my best options for my AC. He was also available for my many questions. We got the job handled, and for a very competitive price. Thank you Eric, Ray and Quinn for the professionalism while getting the job done at our home. We love our COLD home :) I'll be looking forward to my home heating maintenance service in the fall. You have a customer for life.
IJ Tech maintained our heating/cooling system for years. We purchased one replacement unit from them. Several months ago their sales rep visited and said he would put together a proposal for a new system. We never heard back. We hired a new company. The air handler is located in an attic space. The new company informed us that the humidifier that we have had for 12 years was never attached to the unit. The plug still had the factory plastic cover attached. It did. I saw it. It was just sitting there. The drip pan was not under anything. There were other problems. I am happy the sales rep never followed up on his commitment. We are getting a better system, changes were made to distribute heat to areas that have been consistently cold. The humidifier has been relocated to an area where there is no possibility of water leaking through the ceiling.

I have used IJ Tech numerous times! They are always willing to help and are extremely responsive! They installed an air purification system directly into my HVAC unit and our allergies have all but disappeared!!! Highly recommend!

Our heat pump started leaking water at 5 PM with 97 degree heat forecasted for the next day. I called a half dozen different 24 hour companies and I J was the first to respond. The tech fixed the problem, showed me how to fix the problem if it happens again, and was overall very polite and understanding considering he was probably putting in overtime. I'll definitely be calling them back.
VERY unprofessional. Showed up without masks, and for some reason would not keep their masks pulled up at all times in our home. It is not a hard thing to do. In fact, it is selfish and ignorant not to during a PANDEMIC. Also tracked mud all through our apartment's carpet. Hopefully we can get it cleaned. At one point they were using a blow torch which set off our smoke detector, terrifying our cats. They could have warned us, maybe open a window, use a fan? If you value your health, prefer clean carpets, and have pets, I would advise staying far away from this company. It's unfortunate that we had no choice since our apartment's management are the ones contracting with them.
They do great work. They are not as attentive as the use to be. I go elsewhere now. And I love my new plumbers. There amazing.
They gave us same day service and fixed our pool heat pump. They were knowledgeable and professional ...I recommend them!

IJ Tech installed an HVAC system for our newly purchased house, it required an entire system including duct work, a new furnace, and new air conditioner. They were quick to give a quote and schedule the project. Their quote was very reasonable and they did an amazing job. They finished the entire project within the promised time and had great communication throughout the entire process. They even went a step further to get the gas lines hooked up by the gas company for us. I highly recommend IJ Tech for any HVAC project!
We lost our water heater on a Friday. When discovered the part would take about a week to come in, IJ Tech replaced the entire water heater on Saturday and all covered by warranty. Above and beyond to satisfy us and very much appreciated.
Want the BEST? IJTECH! Jody/staff have done plumbing work at our townhouse residence for years. Staff were always on time, got the job done right, courteous, professional and ready to answer all questions. So once again I contacted Jody this time for HVAC needs. Technicians Mason/Jake installed a new heat pump/AC unit ...and service, that's right (business as usual)....THE BEST!
Jake the technician was excellent. Very professional and personal. He identified the problem and had it fixed in a very short time.
Please do not *ever hesitate* to call upon this amazing company. I feel like I am their biggest fan for the amount of times they came through for me with jobs executed with excellence and pure professionalism. Shout out to Jake Quaker coming to the rescue on late Friday heating call! He was showed up promptly and was professional, kind, knowledgeable, confident and *quickly* fixed the issue. I am a business owner who called IJ Tech about a plumbing issue. Within an hour a technician, Jake, arrived. He was clean, well spoken, polite and intelligent. He quickly diagnosed the issue and went about correcting it. He even cleaned up the floor when finished. Excellent service.
The crew that was sent to our home was timely, polite, and after running into a couple hiccups (neither of which was created by them) proved to be very professional and completely competent. They had the utmost respect for all our property. Everything from the quote to the installation went exactly as described. Hats off to Jody and his men, truly quality, good people. We are totally pleased with every aspect of the job. I would certainly not hesitate to recommend this business to anyone.

Andy and Jody and the guys from IJ Tech excavation division worked with me to get what I wanted and did a great job. I was very pleased with their work and I would highly recommend them. Their rates were reasonable. Definitely give them a call.
