Troy installed my grandmother's new furnace and a/c entirely by himself. Replacing her old 35 yr old furnace was no easy job as it involved rerouting and replacing old pipes with new ones. Also he had to rebuild a new firmer foundation for her outside a/c unit. He was courteous, persevering, and efficient and we both would highly recommend him to anyone.
Sheaffer installed a new heat pump for me. Troy installed it by himself and did a great job. Very professional and answered all my questions. The whole staff is great. Thanks!

I was looking for a HVAC business to do maintenance on both my heater and AC units since it has been a while. There was some issue with my heater going on and off every so often so I called and asked for a quote for yearly maintenance and explained the problem with my heater, Sheaffer quote a very reasonable price for the yearly maintenance and was able to book an appointment within 48 hours. Troy showed up at the appointed time with a ready to help attitude. He was very professional, told me the problem and the cost to fix it. I was pleasantly surprise for such an affordable price for the visit and the services. Overall, my experience with such a nice and professionalism team from the receptionist to Troy at Sheaffer that I will definitely make this business my go to HVAC people. I highly recommend this business to other family members, friends and even strangers reading this thread.
Excellent! Knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Troy really helped my family by diagnosing and fixing our heat pump, same day, unscheduled and late in the day with outside temps in the 20s. Inside temps were 50s or below. Just thrilled with the experience and the results.

After several rounds of "heating repair roulette" with big name companies who were only out to get as much money as they could for services I did not need, I saw the Scheaffer Mechanical van parked near my house and decided to give them a try. I thought, "well here we go again"! I could not have been more wrong!! From the first phone call with Susan, I could tell this would be different. Troy came and did a thorough diagnostic and let me ask all of my questions based on the past service people that were here and work I had already done on the unit. He worked his magic and, for the first time in a year, I have heat!! I will recommend Scheaffer to everyone that will listen to me, they are AMAZING!!! Thank you!!
Ryan gave a lot of thought to our needs before preparing an estimate for the 5 zone mini split system they eventually installed. Unlike some of the other estimators it was obvious Ryan took into consideration the logistics involved as well as taking thorough measurements to insure the proper size units were chosen. The communication was great and the crew were fantastic. We had several estimates and we are happy we went with Scheaffer as the price was fair and the work was excellent.
Ryan, Troy and Dave were professional, timely, thorough, neat, and provided quality work at a fair price. Troy seamlessly removed our radiator for some tile work, and has helped maintain our boiler and heating system for the past two years. Ryan helped troubleshoot updating plumbing fixtures in our 1930s bathroom without the need for major structural changes. Their office has a great system for notifying you of appointment windows and when the team is en route to your location. Their communication, work quality and service is excellent. We highly recommend Sheaffer Mechanical.

Had these guys do extensive plumbing work in my old shower that was leaking and they did an excellent job! Awesome customer service! Would highly recommend.
Great service and work done right the first time
We can't praise Ryan, Mark, and Troy enough. Numerous jobs were completed for us over the last few years (plumbing, electrical, HVAC), all jobs were completed at a high level, no complaints. It's a refreshing change of pace doing business with people that are so professional. I wish them the best, and will be asking for their help in the future!
I’ve used Sheaffer Electric and Mechanical for 3 jobs thus far and have been extremely impressed with their work, responsiveness, and affordability. They were respectful of my schedule, offered alternatives and suggestions to in areas where my ideas didn’t quite fit, and communicated well. I highly recommend them and will use them in the future.
Very pleased with Ryan's work. Very professional, quick and trustworthy. He repaired very quick our furnace. It was initially diagnosed dead by the competition that had left us without heat and a very high replacement quote. He has proven that he will not charge you for unnecessary work.
