$400 to unclog a drain on short notice on a weekend… the $200 for showing up was ok since it was an emergency service, and I expected the unclog to be an additional charge, but $200 for about being at the property a total of about 30 minutes is a lot!
We needed repair service in the heat of summer. Rob, Ryan and Alex were super in helping us. So professional and helpful. Alex did the repair and was a delight to work with. Recommend this company on highest level. Thank you all

We had to have Ranck out 3 times in a month. 1st time was our maintenace of the HVAC unit in May and told us everything was great. We paid $187 for the maintenance. We didn't need to turn on the A.C. until a week ago. The pipes froze up. We turned off the unit to melt the ice build-up and called Ranck. They came out on Monday first thing and said we needed freon and there was a leak. It would be $600 to fix. They didnt charge us for the visit. We asked them why is there an issue when we just had maintenance and all was good. They left until we could make a decisionon what to do.. We called them back asking why we need to pay the $600 when this shoild have been tsken care of during maintenance. They came back out on Wednesday and "fixed" the problem. It was a loose nut that was causing the leak. Cost us $187 to fix. They "taped" up the area they had to get into and explained where the nut was. When i went down on Thursday to check on everything the "taped" area had blown off and when i looked to see where the nut they were talking about was, the insulation that was around the nut was ripped to shreds and shoild have been replaced. I only had masking tape with me and sealed up what I could to stop the air from blowing out.
Water Heater died, called in morning, by 3 pm that day replacement was installed. Could be happier, can't go wrong with Ranck.

We have used Ranck’s for many years. Their technicians are always knowledgable, thorough, and courteous. They perform yearly maintenance on our heating and A/C systems and they also installed a new Bosch heating and A/C unit in our home a few years ago. Highly recommend!

Great company. It's big in the local market but that hasn't gone to the company's head. People are wonderful too. August especially but also the technicians.
Had a water emergency recently and Ranck was great at helping me fix it. Called Ranck and a service tech was out to look at the problem within a couple of hours. Trace and Nick were excellent. They were very nice and knowledgeable and worked hard to get my water up and running that same day.
Ranck has done a good job with communicating as they work on projects for our non-profit, including email notification re appts. The staff are professional and knowledgeable. They were responsive when there was a delay. They do good work.
Service tech Keith was personable and thoroughly explained diagnosis and repair. He gave us another year with a unit showing its age. Outstanding!
Recently, I moved to Lancaster and needing some company to service my Heating & C Cooling systems I called Ranck. From the very first person I spoke to I felt comfortable. The Technologist who came to check my systems were knowledgeable, and diligent as they worked. All my questions were answered. Very professionals.I am Very Satisfied with everything they did! Adam is a very detail attentive service technician. When he removed the old toilet we discovered that builder was lazy and didn’t properly install connected to sewer line. Adam, a great problem solver, came up with a better way to connect the toilet and now we are happy campers. Thank you, Adam!
Matt Spohn dislocated the access to natural gas for my outside grill and cleaned a basement drain. He was very informative of future things to look for to prevent household mishaps. He and his assistant were very professional and helpful.
