Had original EH Gochnauer dishwasher installation team here one week ago. With first dishwashing cycle, there was a slow leak at the valve transitioning from original copper line to the new stainless steel line to the dishwasher. I called their after hours line, then dispatcher Liz on Monday. Due to the distance (about 90-100 miles) to our home, next plumber couldn't be here for a few days. 1) Although given a 10:00 arrival time, the plumber called as he was running early, and on his way 2) Plumber (Frank) easily found the problem ( bad valve) and installed a new valve and hooked up the water line to the dishwasher. 3) he instructed me how to turn off the water main, drain the lines and re-establish all of these after his work was completed. I can easily give Frank and Liz the EH Gochnauer folks a 5 star rating and would have them back for future work, the only problem being the travel distance. Give them a call the next time you are looking to have HVAC and related work done.
They were great with our heat pump, air handler installation..
If I could give Jason 10 stars I would. He was tremendous. Came out on a emergency call for us when heat went out. Very professional and very personable. Need more workers like him. The customer service was top notch I couldn’t ask for anything more. Don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else. Thank you Jason!!
Wonderful company to do business with. Our service technician Jason was excellent! Very kind, courteous and professional. He explained everything in detail about our dishwasher install. Will definitely be using them for our future needs.
I was looking for this invoice and finally found it. These guys installed a dishwasher for Home Depot. I told them it was crooked. They explained to me that it had to be dead center leveled and they had to leave it like that. So I got my leveler and the bubble was still in between the lines, though not dead center and it’s perfect. But wow, they just made every excuse about how they couldn’t. Well it’s perfect now. No love lost. But wow how weird.
Had awful noises coming from my furnace. Zach came out, on time, diagnosed the issues. Parts needed to be ordered and he was on time again for the second visit. He fixed the issue and now I can sleep well at night not concerned I'm going to lose my heat. Would recommend to friends and family.

Home Depot was unable to install our new dishwasher. Hayen from EH Gochnauer & Sons, Inc. arrived on time. He was knowledgeable, polite, and very professional. We recommend these people without reservation.
We had Gochnauer come out to service our furnace and had nothing but a great experience. Jason was who assisted us, walked us through every detail and did not disappoint. We would highly recommend their company.
The fine people of Gochnauer & Sons worked diligently on repairs to my home after a major storm/tree/roof accident. They repaired existing plumbing issues, installed new lines and new HVAC. Brand new dryer leaking gas. EHG understood our urgency, came out on Sunday. Very prompt, courteous, competent, professional. Would definitely call again.

While house sitting for my parents during the hottest summer days, their AC failed. I called Gochnauer for assistance and provided some information about what I had ascertained already. Michelle was able to identify over the phone that the interior unit coils had frozen solid, which meant that it would impede a technician if it wasn't defrosted ahead of time. She led me through the steps to set the unit up and take care of it while also putting in a work order to get the issue resolved as soon as possible. The following day, Jason Daugherty was sent to investigate and repair the unit. It was clear that he was knowledgeable and very professional. He saw was had caused the coils to freeze, determined that whoever had installed the thermostat had done so incorrectly, and was able to fix both of these issues in a timely manner while explaining to me what had happened and why. He also informed me of some additional preventative measures that my parents could take to try to make sure this is less likely to happen in the future. Both Michelle and Jason were exceptional. I would recommend Gochnauer in a heartbeat and, if you happen to deal with either or both of these individuals, know that you are in good hands!
Had Gochnauer come out to give a 2nd opinion on an issue with my AC unit. They essentially confirmed the first opinion, but I was very impressed with the amount of time spent checking various components and also the cost of the service. Would definitely use again.
Phenomenal customer service!! Jason D was skilled and effective, A+. I was told that I need a whole new A.C unit by another outfit. That company overcharged to tell me things didn't work and provided a sloppy diagnosis. This experience was different from the start. Order of operations were clear, explanations were great, options were given and made known and ultimately, things were fixed. No need to look any further for my HVAC or plumbing needs. Thanks again to Jason D--one who clearly is passionate about what he does and knows how to engage on a professional and personal level. Much appreciated EH Gochnauer and Sons!
Excellent company, excellent techs. As for the review about the tech not "wanting to install a dishwasher or do his job that day" - Home Depot contracts EHG to do their appliance plumbing and installations. EHG must follow the rules set in place by Home Depot. If a technician bypasses said rules, not only can it be a hazard, but EHG may not get paid, if they don't abide by HD's rules on those jobs. (note - this is only regarding when they do appliance installs for home depot) So the technician has no choice but to do the job a very specific way. If he cannot, he will advise the customer what needs to be taken care of. Frank is an AMAZING technician! He gets the job done, knowledgeably, efficiently, and tests to make sure all work is sound. Very pleased.

Terrible company. Beware! I can't think of any way doing a worse job They definitely sent a tech who didn't want to work today - Frank I think? Disconnected our Dishwasher to install a new Dishwasher. Left without hooking up the old dishwasher back the way it was. I now have 2 dishwashers in my kitchen in pieces. 1) Showed up and said he didn't like Bosche - finding reasons not to work today 2) Then said he didn't know how to unhook it, had the wrong star screwdriver - I gave him mine and showed him how to connect it to his screwdriver 3) Said I had to call an electrician cause the dishwasher panel breaker wasn't labelled. - I found it for him 4) Said he couldn't hook it up cause the electric wire wasn't long enough - told him we can just drill a hold through side of cabinet between dishwasher and sink - problem solved 5) Realized he didn't have the electric junction box for the Bosche AFTER he disconnected everything. First told me an electrician would have to do it anyway - reminded him that is what we were told you would do and why you are here in the first place. He was like okay let me see. He came unprepared 6) Said he wasn't allowed to work on the wiring without a box that he didn't have and not even allowed to hook the old one back in - then why did you disconnect it? Every step of the way he was coming up with excuses on why he didn't want to work today that any contractor I ever used would easily overcome. I had to talk him into it every step of the way. Hey Bob - Surely hope you fire this technician! I'll bill you for my 4 hours of lost time today. You guys are the worst! They provided no solution. Have no one else to help. Home Depot even said they'd relieve them of any liability to hook up the old dishwasher back the way it was. Horrible experience. Then his tech tried to blame me for losing a tool! I understand people have bad days but you don't undo my entire kitchen and leave it a mess. What's wrong with your company, Bob?
We have been using Gochnauer Services for years for our maintenance/repairs of our HVAC system and could not be happier with the professionalism of the company and their technicians. Julian was on time, thorough and responsive to all my needs at this year's maintenance call. As always - I am pleased with the service call.
I bought a dishwasher from home depot. I was very leary to have thier 3rd party delivery/install team install another dishwasher as the last one they did wasn't hooked up correctly and I had water all over the floor and damaged ceiling tiles in the basement. When I saw the Gochnauer van pull up I took a sigh of relief. I was amazed at how quickly he had the old dishwasher out and the new one hooked up and running. I would definitely use them in the future for plumbing jobs.
