Fredy installed a 96% furnace and a replaced my broken AC unit at my house. He and his crew were top notch and professional. They were efficient and left my garage cleaner than when they started. I would look no further than North Air Heating and Refrigeration!
Cannot recommend enough. Our a/c stopped blowing cool air, we called around to 10+ business with no success in finding a quick appointment (not surprisingly). Fredy said he thought he might be able to squeeze us in next day and sure enough he did!! Loved how friendly he was and his great customer service, he had our unit back up and running in no time. Now we can all sleep much more comfortably! Thanks for squeezing us in!!!
I hired North Air Heating and Refrigeration to help fix an improperly installed telescoping downdraft. I needed their expertise to help create and install some custom ducting. Fredy and his team arrived on time, finished quicker than I'd thought they would, were respectful of the property and cleaned up before leaving. I'll be keeping their number handy for future projects.
I had Fredy install a brand new system in a single story home (93% gas furnace and a heat pump). His prices were reasonable and his work was very clean - a good indication that he takes pride in his work. Highly recommend.
Fredy installed a new heat pump for us. He was responsive, knowledgeable, caring and professional. There was some minor follow up needed and his customer service was simply amazing. I don't tend to do reviews, but I made an exception in this case as he is top notch.

Wanted a heat pump system to replace my old furnace and A/C. Fredy come pretty quick to assess my house duct work and condition before proposing a quote for me. He when the extra mile to ensure that we are not over sizing the system based on the existing duct work and also to ensure we are not under sizing it as well. Finally the the proposal was to have a dual fuel system to ensure I have be able to have the heating during the extra cold time since the max heat pump size that I can do was 3 ton unless I wanted to upgrade the duct work which will be a huge task. Very competitive quote when compared with others and Fredy was very transparent himself. We got the system install pretty quick and after everything is done the whole place was left very clean too. Good workmanship through out the installation but sheet metal work could be better. I recommend to all looking to replace or install new HVAC unit.

Freddy from North Air did a great job of fixing my 25 year old AC unit. He is friendly, knowledgeable and took the time to explain and offer more than one repair option. I would highly recommend Freddy and North Air.
Of course our A/C quit during 100 degree weather! I was shocked when Freddy was able to come the same day I called. We assumed it would be a new unit, but he said he might be able to do a simple fix. He was. He was very patient in explaining what he was doing and what was needed. I liked that he was honest and forthright about the repair and our concerns. We still need to replace our system, but the repair bought us some time. We plan to buy the new system from Freddy when we are ready because we trust him.
Sky Heating + and Roth Heating + (they do everything) were both businesses I had bad experiences with. I hired Sky to fix my toilets and they tried selling me a new water heater. For a new central AC quote, Roth suggested my walls had to be ripped open to replace the incompatible pipes (with today's unit). Unless, of course, I chose to go with one of their most efficient (expensive) systems. Not to mention a "if you buy right now" discount (from a 100% commissioned sales person, mind you). Fredy with North Air was the complete opposite. He comes across as a genuine person who will suggest what he thinks is a good fit. Even though I made it obvious that Roth made a bad impression, he didn't say one bad thing about them. He didn't ask how many quotes I had or how much they were for. And his quote was almost 1/3 of Roth. Once work started, there was a problem he couldn't possibly have seen during the quote because it was hidden behind insulation - it wasn't going to be a straightforward installation. So there were a handful of extra hours for fabrication involved that he didn't try charging me for. The install itself is excellent! Parts of it looked slapped together when the house was built and he fixed all of that. The garage was left cleaner than it was before he got here. He removed roots in the back to make sure the AC unit sat correctly (he replaced the furnace in the garage, too). Fredy bids his own jobs, does his own installs, doesn't have any sales people to pay, no office staff to pay, and somebody whose work is attached to their name, in my experience, does the best work. I've dealt with a lot of contractors and businesses lately and the general experience has been poor. Fredy is a very welcome exception and I encourage you to give him a shot - I wish I could hire him for everything!
Fredy did an AAAAMAZING job! We just bought a 1962 bungalow and it has no air conditioning so Fredy came over took a look and since our furnace had been there over 30+ years he suggested to replace it as well as adding the A/C. Not sure how long the old furnace was going to last and it would be a lot more efficient. He explained the process and got to work. Within 2 days we had a new furnace and new a/c and it went from 87 degrees in our home to 71 in less than 35 minutes! We actually had to turn the thermostat up to 73 it was too cool! Looking forward to going home again now that we are all hooked up with the right heating and cooling system! I highly recommend North Air heating and refrigeration Fredy knows his stuff and he is the most knowledgeable when it comes to anything having to do with heating and cooling. Friendly and very easy to talk to and explains the process and answers your questions.
I don't usually write reviews but I need to make an exception. I contacted Fredy based on some other reviews and I am 100% pleased that I did. Integrity is my #1 core value and my BS meter is very sensitive. I felt Fredy's honesty and integrity right from the start. He was responsive, on time, courteous and professional. Above all, there was no pressure. He explained everything he was doing and why. He was able to repair our unit when we didn't think it was possible. We will want to replace it in the next year, and Fredy is the only guy I'm going to call. Great experience.
I highly recommend “North Air Heating & Refrigeration”. They’re customer service was great. The installation of heating and air was done very well and they cleaned up after themselves which was very much appreciated, some businesses don’t do that unfortunately.
We were recommended Fredy and his company by my parents who were extremely happy with the work he did on their home. We needed help with an AC installation on our new home and Fredy was quick to respond, extremely kind and got the job done within the next week! He went the extra mile to extend some copper lines in our attic that attach to the furnace and made sure everything outside was weather-proofed. He left our home very clean as well, which I appreciated. The quality is just outstanding and we loved being able to support a local business. We highly recommend North Air Heating and Refrigeration! Fredy is awesome. His responsiveness, care with work, willingness to fix up some of the flaws left by the builders of our house just to make sure nothing would get under our house shows how much Fredy wants your home to stay protected. I couldn’t imagine using anyone else for getting an AC installed. This is the only company I would recommend for anyone looking for AC or Heat.
I needed to have my AC and Heatier replaced. I had 5 bids to do the job. Fredy from North Air Heating and Refrigeration was who I chose based on Price and the equipment value that I received for that price. Fredy answered all my questions quickly ( And it seemed I had alot). He was a pleasure to work with. Would I recommed them to others? The answer is YES. I have already given his information to a few of my friends that are looking for bids. I don't believe you can go wrong using this company.
