Rhonda and the team at the HPS were professional and flawless from conception through installation. We had a gap in understanding about what and how much we needed from a ductless system, but knew that the investment made sense for our situation. Rhonda came to our home to look at our house and listen to what we wanted to do. She helped us find the system with the right amount of capacity for our current budget that allowed for expansion in the future should we want to expand. The bid was 1-2k less than the other bids we received for the project. With Rhonda we felt heard and that our budget was in capable hands. Scheduling installation and payment was a breeze. The installation team was professional and answered questions that came up while they were working. It really was like having friends doing the work. We will 100% come to the HPS if we expand our system. Could not recommend this team more!
I'm very happy with the split that I purchased from The Heat Pump Store. The unit seems to be working perfectly. One other note - the technician who came out and did the yearly service on both the indoor and outdoor units was very pleasant and helpful to work with. In other words she didn't seem to mind all the questions I asked her - I wanted to see if I could do my own yearly service but after watching her do it I no longer wanted to try and do it myself. My interactions with this outfit have always been pleasant and they are a professional and helpful group of people. I highly recommend them and the Daikin products that they sell and service.
They were professional and courteous, always prompt to answer our questions and understanding when we had to with our HOA for approval. Highly recommend.
All the 5 star reviews are legit. Rhonda came out and gave us estimate and followed project to completion. She was great to work with. Communication and scheduling was outstanding. The unit is super quiet and efficient. Wish other contractors were of this caliber. Just a top notch organization.
Recently had our first service call and the service manager Debora was very responsive to scheduling - the lead tech Jamie did a thorough diagnostic and the issue was resolved promptly- very pleased with our mini split investment and how well they help keep us cool and comfortable - thank you
When our existing heat pump system failed, The Heat Pump Store responded promptly, repaired what they could, and when it became clear that part of the system needed to be replaced provided a well structured, comprehensive, and competitive bid. Despite what must have been a flood of business when the temperature spiked at 96 degrees, they provided a reasonable schedule and, when another project was delayed, got in touch and performed the installation much sooner than expected. The installation when smoothly, their staff was cooperative, responsive and cleaned up the site completely on completion. The new system is functioning flawlessly and post installation support has been cheerful and prompt. Tim Sharp and his team did an amazing job installing our ductless mini-split/heat pump! They arrived on time and got right to work! His team was professional, polite, courteous & efficient! Installation was fast and we were enjoying the benefits of our new Daikin heat pump same day. Definitely recommend-- FIVE STARS!
This outfit may be fantastic at installing new systems, but I am thoroughly unimpressed with their support maintaining and troubleshooting my existing one. I purchased a home with mini splits (recently) installed by this store. When they stopped working a few months after I bought the house, I called them out. The visit went smoothly enough and everyone was very professional at the time. Then I was told I had a coolant leak in my wall that would require replacing the entire system for roughly $15,000. After subsequently getting a second opinion by a second company that actually attempted to locate the leak using a UV-activated fluid (it was on the outside unit coils…), I was informed by the second company that I was still under the original warranty and all diagnostic/repair costs (including the ones I paid to the Heat Pump Store to look into the same issue) should still be fully covered. Not only did the Heat Pump Store attempt to scam me into a very expensive and unnecessary upgrade (for their benefit), they also failed to disclose warranty coverage I was unaware of (that another provider found very easily and shared openly). I would not recommend this company to anyone I cared about and will not use them again.
Quality service, product and installation on a complex setup involving multiple heat pumps. Earl was a pleasure to get the estimate from, Brandon and the rest of the crew did an excellent installation.
Surprisingly responsive in all interactions with members of their team in sales, finance, and service. Provided a spot-on assessment of the building’s heat pump needs that would provide coverage for two floors over all seasons. Final bid for selected equipment and installation was very competitive. Installation team was well staffed and experience resulting in a beautiful installation. In all, a great experience and highly recommended.,
Shout out to Jamie for a job well done! I had a loud sqealing fan motor in my heart pump that was driving me crazy! So I called the heat pump store and they suggested an new motor for my LG unit. They booked me an appointment for a week or so out between 8am - 12pm. Jamie called at 9am to let me know he would arrive in about an hour which was right; he showed up at 10am. He replaced my noisy motor and serviced the unit, cleaned the whole thing basically, looked great! He had it back together and working in about 90 minutes or so. He even vacuumed up when he was done. All told the job took about 2 hours and now I can run my heat pump and hear my thoughts at the same time. Everyone in the house is very satisfied. Thanks!
We had our Daikin heat pumps service maintenance today. Always a good experience with our tech Jamie. He is Very pleasant, knowledgeable and respectful of our home, always taking safety and cleanliness precautions. We are so happy we found the Heat Pump Store.
From the first meetings with Rhonda, to the installation with Juan and Miriam, I’m happy to say that my experience with the Heat Pump Store was professional and personable throughout. I’m absolutely thrilled with my new system and can’t wait to see how we fare through some of those extra hot summer days. I can’t say enough good things about The Heat Pump Store. Rhonda was very knowledgeable and got us a fantastic unit. Christian took his time figuring out the best place to install the unit and listened wonderfully to our needs. Ken figured out how to make the electrical work and looked great. Everyone was such a pleasure to work with and I will definitely be recommending them to everyone who can use them! Thank you again to making this process great.
We needed to make some changes in our home. Our upstairs has two aging, under-performing gas furnaces that cover nine rooms and a long hall with vaulted ceilings (About 2600 sq ft.). We needed a better heating solution as well as FINALLY adding air conditioning to our upstairs living area. We got several bids on differing solutions, all of which suggested a $25K to $30K expenditure. We then contacted Todd Hutchens at The Heat Pump Store. Todd arrived and did a thorough assessment of our requirements and offered a solution that we had not considered. We didn't know about ductless heating and cooling, but Todd explained how it all works, answered all of our endless questions, made a recommendation, and offered us a very reasonable cost. We decided that we liked what he had to say and bought a Panasonic 36K BTU multi-unit outdoor compressor with a 24K BTU indoor wall unit and a 15K BTU wall unit for the master bedroom. Installation was on time and finished excellently. So far, our new system is performing flawlessly. It is very quiet and keeps our rooms temperatures wonderfully warm. February was 28 degrees outside while our house remains at a very comfortable 70 degrees. Our old gas furnaces have remained completely idle since our installation. We are amazed at how much range these units offer and the extremely low maintenance needed. From start to finish The Heat Pump Store gave us an excellent product, excellent service and very professionally installed. If you are seeking a new heating/cooling system, look no further.
Several condo owners have used the company and had good success. Very professional and quick turnaround time. We literally had a snow storm right after the install so I really got to test it out! Alex & team were friendly and explained things well. I know i’m going to love it in summer with the a/c compared to old loud free standing a/c Very pleased!

Excellent service from start to finish installing our new multi-zone ductless heat pump. They did a thorough site evaluation, sent a clear, competitive no-nonsense bid, and patiently answered my questions. Our situation had some complications, and they accomodated all of them with common sense flexibility. Installation crew was professional, fast and clean. Highly recommended.
