Simi Moldovan is your guy for the job! Had an AC unit go out on one of the hottest days of summer. This is july 1, and its a saturday. So most places are closed or booked out weeks in advance due to holiday and hot weather. Called around 10 places but the moment i called here got a spot in minutes same day eval and same day fix and was done in matter of hrs .. very nice work too. will definitely recommend!! Thanks
We used Sunnyside to install a new Heatpump and A/C coils to our existing gas furnace so we can have an efficient cooling and heating solution for home. Simi and Alexandra were very helpful in helping us choose the right solution for our budget. Simi and his helper installed the system over 2 days and were very polite and courteous of our space. They worked hard and cleaned up well after the work was done. We are thrilled with the end result, the new HP works great. The experience from start to finish couldn't have gone better.. highly recommend Sunnyside HVAC for your next project!
Simi and the team are knowledgeable, punctual, communicative, and trustworthy. Simi installed our AC and repaired a faulty part of our furnace. We couldn’t be more satisfied and fully trust him with all of our HVAC needs in the future. Very happy we found Sunnyside HVAC!
Our furnace stopped producing heat just the other morning. I called Sunnyside HVAC and Simi was at our door less than 3hrs. later. The parts for repair only came as a kit which would’ve cost too much. Simi was able to locate a new, more efficient furnace for us and returned the next day (Saturday) and installed it in less than 5 hours. His work was efficient, clean and kind. He was knowledgeable and took the time to repair the exhaust holes around the house which was poorly done initially. He also rerouted the condensation hose to prevent it from freezing in the future. 10/10 would recommend to all!
I've used Sunnyside twice, for two different furnaces, and their repair technician Simi is amazing. The first furnace we needed help with required a lot of diagnostic testing and multiple parts that needed replacement, but he was very diligent throughout the entire process. The second time we used them, I was relieved to hear that they would be sending out Simi again - he figured out the problem, got the parts, and we were on our way within the same day. It's hard to find reliable HVAC service providers, and we're very happy to have found Sunnyside Heating!
Simi was able to come out the same day my furnace failed. He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and was able to repair the issue that day. I highly recommend Sunnyside HVAC.

I cannot say enough good things about Sunnyside Heating and Cooling and Simi. I called 12 contractors. Simi was the only one willing to help me. My original contractor failed to return to finish the job and left me with the furnace improperly installed, no permits and didn't even start the A/C addition. Simi came and looked at the system, gave me a bid and showed up within the week. He and his team were amazing. My furnace is up in the ceiling of a townhome and the space was small and hot and there were no existing line sets for the A/C as well as many other problems. Not an easy job and other contractors turned me down. Simi was present for the entire job to ensure everything was done properly. He even made some corrections that he didn't have to, just because he wanted it done right. They were only there for two days and a couple hours on the third day to test everything. The install is aesthetically great and very clean and finished looking. There were other things that were needed and my price didn't increase and was very fair. When he left, all was cleaned up like he had never been there. Also, Alexandra in the office was great and communication was amazing. I am so happy to have found Sunnyside Heating and Cooling and Simi. I can put this behind me and I finally have central A/C after wanting it for 12 years. I feel I have a way better outcome after having used him.

Sunnyside was a life-saver. They able to help with same day repair service on a weekend when it was extremely hot! I am very glad I called them and highly recommend this business!
It was about to be the hottest day of summer and the ac copped out. The unit fan would run but no cold air came out. To make matters worse, when I went to check on the furnace, the unit was leaking water and pooling under it. In a panic, I called one company after another with no one answering. I found Sunnyside HVAC and instantly got a call back. I explained what was going on and Alexandria walked me through the best next moves to keep the issues from getting worse. She set up an appointment for the next day and Simi was able to come out earlier that planned to take a look. Within a couple of hours, everything was back up and running and he set up something’s on the furnace so the water leak wouldn’t be an issue again. Truly thankful to have found this company and will be calling them for annual tune ups on my system. If I could give more stars, I would :)
Was able to come out the very next day and was very detailed.
I called Simi at the recommendation of a friend. I was able to schedule an after hours appointment the same day and get my HVAC fixed. Simi had to order a part and followed up. On his return visit to put the part in, he also found and fixed a minor gas leak and got my gas fireplace working. I found him to be knowledgeable, friendly and honest. When other HVAC companies were either 2-3 weeks out or flat out would not call me back, Simi stepped right in and helped me. I'm keeping his card on file.
New HVAC system installed in less than 5 days by a very professional 2 men crew. All our questions were answered; they cleaned up after themselves; very courteous and always respectful of our property. Truly happy AND the estimate was lower than what Costco’s people quoted us. P.S.: Ask them about the “air scrubber”. It’s a really good investment for the air quality in your home.
Simi was responsive and thorough in performing a furnace tune up and then trouble-shooting and solving a problem I was having with my heating system. He was very patient & kind. He needed to come back more than once to try a few different things until the problem was addressed. I was not charged until the problem was solved. The company that installed my furnace was not able to solve the problem, but he took care of it and at a reasonable price. Thank you, Sunnyside HVAC. Whenever maintenance or repair is needed on my heater, I will be calling them first.
Simi is true professional. He fixed my furnace for very reasonable fee when other companies said you replace the unit. Not only did he fix it but worked flawlessly for many years. I only wish there were other tradesmen as competent as Simi Bucky west hills Portland
Our furnace was 'working' but not keeping it warm enough in the house during the last cold snap. I saw the reviews for Sunnyside H&C and called them right away. They answered the phone quickly and were able to schedule me an appt. same day within 90 minutes, awesome! The owner/technician, Semi, called me before the appt. time to say he was on his way. Semi arrived on time and was very polite. Semi was very thorough checking out my furnace, taking his time to check all the systems with the proper equipment. He diagnosed the problem, quoted me a fair price, then went to get the part. He returned quickly, installed the fan motor and some resistors and we are warm again. My condensation pump had been jury rigged and wasn't working and Semi took the time to put it back together and get it working again at no extra charge! I would highly recommend Sunnyside H&C!
