I can't say enough about this team! We needed to get Central Air installed quickly for my Mom who lives in the duplex next to me. She is 83 with health issues and due to other repairs and upgrades we were behind with the AC Even though I started getting quotes two weeks ahead of time all of a sudden my timeline was cut short as a heatwave was expected May 13th and we were at May 8th! We had to get the AC in and quickly. I called PDX heating and cooling, who had already given a quote, and explained the situation. They not only said they could get it in they scheduled an emergency install at no extra cost and came the very next day! To make it even more complex for them my mom insisted they come after 12PM and they accommodated! Once they got here they could not have been nicer and did a great job on installation! Wonderful folks and great company! The AC is still working great now that it's been about 10 days.
Kurt and his team have been a life-saver twice now. Our AC went out in 2021 during the heatwave and he was super-responsive and got us set up with a new AC very quickly. He was able to help arrange financing for the unexpected expense. Our 15 year old heater just went down. He arrived the next day and made efforts to repair it over two days, and when it was found to be dead he was able to get a new furnace installed quickly. He is fair in pricing and very conscientious. I highly recommend his business.
Kurt repaired my family members AC. He was timely and professional. He provided services for fair price. I would recommend to friends and family. Will be call him again for any future needs!
Older gentlemen came out and did not have the knowledge for a newer model of a heating unit.
I've worked with Kurt and his team at PDX Heating and Cooling three times now. During the inspection process of our new home Kurt came out the first time to inspect the heating and cooling systems in the home. Each 25+ years old. The news wasn't good but Kurt was honest, upfront about the cost and brand options. After the purchase was finalized we had the furnace replaced before we moved in, even in the busy season Kurt made sure that the home was heated before we moved in and suggested we do the A/C unit just before the summer hits. When I say temps hitting close to 70 I called him and within 2 days had my new unit installed and working. I've got future plans to run heating and cooling to one of my out buildings and will definitely be calling on Kurt and his team again. Highly recommend!

Furnace went out and I called Kurt and he had a new one installed within 48 hours! Not only did he beat the competitions pricing, he included as extra for COVID protection: Merv 11 filters and UV lighting!! He also included a 1 year LABOR warranty which is not typical. He went above and beyond and I would highly recommend his service.
Fast response, complete and thorough job done, totally workmanlike, and fair pricing. Kurt is Friendly, and easy to work with. Would happily call again.
I'm a property manager and know I can rely on Kurt to take great care of the furnaces and other heating systems that need repairs and tune ups from time to time. He has many years of experience and really knows his stuff!
My husband and I have been going through a lot since early September and to top it off our furnace started smelling like smoke. I called Kurt on a Friday, he came out on Saturday, and by Monday we had a new furnace. Amazing job. Thank you PDX heating and cooling.
Kurt and His team, Wes and Helper Eric, Did an amazing job installing a new Furnace. Kurt came to do a service call on our old unit and we found many issues with it. He quoted me a price for a new unit and thermostat and was willing to install the next day. They installed the unit in around 2.5 hours and did an amazing job. The unit looks fantastic and is running Great. If you need some Hvac work I would call them right away.
Wow! I don't write reviews very often, but the customer service with PDX Heating and Cooling is stunningly exceptional. My tenants phoned me a little after noon today because the central A/C had started making a strange noise and blowing warm air. I called my usual handful of HVAC companies I've worked with in the past, but none were available until next week. Then, I phoned this company. Kurt answered right away, and while he was already working elsewhere, he offered to drop what he was doing and go by then and there. Kurt was at the house within half an hour of my call and had the A/C diagnosed, taken apart and fixed (bad capacitor) in under an hour. An hour and a half after my tenant's call to me, they had a working A/C again. PDX Heating and Cooling is now going to the top of my list for yearly maintenance and service calls. Thanks again, Kurt!
