Two time I have called Superior Services for refrigeration/freezer repairs at my place of business. Both times they have responded the same day and have given me excellent service and have gotten my units up and running quickly. They are very professional, prompt and reasonable. I would not hesitate at all to call them again. It is getting harder and harder these days to get good customer service
I have used Superior Service on 6 different projects. They are hands down the best vendor I have!!! Kip and Dawn are amazing.

I had an emergency situation with my AC unit dying. I don't live in Bend in the summer, so I set up my house as a vacation rental. My guests paid $4500 for their 9-day stay, and a failed AC unit just wouldn't do. I called 15 different HVAC companies, and Superior was the only one that could service it the same day (others ranged from 2 days out to 2 weeks out to not taking new customers). A Superior tech came out within the hour and fixed the capacitor issue for $189. The technician even came back the next day to follow up to make sure everything was still working properly. I've now switched my annual maintenance to Superior. As far as I'm concerned, they've earned my business for the rest of the time I own this house.
I’ve been heavily contemplating whether or not it’s worth leaving a review for this company. Very rarely am I shaken with complete disappointment. We were in desperate need to get our commercial fridge/freezer repaired. We read all the great reviews of this company and decided to see how great they were ourselves. It started out awesome, they came out the next day to look at it, found a wire unplugged, plugged it back in and went on their way thinking it might’ve been that. Wrong. Next we needed a new compressor, a new valve, a new fan motor, and if none of those worked it must need a new control board. I’m not leaving this review bc the fridge wasn’t fixed… it was how they went about it. I do believe they are probably 100% amazing at heating and cooling… refrigeration.. is what I question, as well as, integrity. When we were told we needed a new control board, we told the owner we needed some time to think about it bc we basically could have bought a brand new fridge for the money put into fixing it at this point and were just deflated. He replied so condescendingly to us that we were done with his company at that moment. Claiming he told us, we should have just gotten a new fridge basically from the start.. before the compressor was even installed. Which never happened, bc we weren’t even in communication with him when the compressor was recommended, bc it was another one of his employees we talked to who diagnosed that - not him. At no point did he tell us to start thinking about maybe getting a new fridge. That response flat out disgusted me, as if it was a joke to him and his company. It’s very disheartening to learn the hard way, that he didn’t know what he was doing and his pride took a front seat in it all. The last time the owner worked on it he even forgot to screw it back together securely and the whole component ended up sliding out of its compartment while driving home after a really important event we had to be at. If there was the ability to give more stars, I would give them to Kip and Superior Service! Everyone from Dawn, to Kip, to Kent went above and beyond to get our AC going. When there is a heat wave in Bend and everyone is booked out weeks, Kip came less than 24 hours after I called late afternoon on a Friday. He was very responsive, provided excellent quality work, and did everything he could to get our AC back up and running. Dawn was so kind and helpful. Kent was incredibly responsive. GREAT customer service all around! Very fair rates. Highly recommend!
Our A/C went out on a hot summer Friday. Superior came out on Saturday when everyone else was closed and diagnosed the problem and fixed our system quickly and efficiently. The tech was the company owner and he explained the issue, showed me how to prevent it the future, and did some preventative maintenance. He was extremely friendly and he went out of his way to provide excellent service. Truly top-notch in all respects!
My AC unit was short cycling on a 97 degree day with a 2 story home with all bedrooms upstairs. I called at 4:45 in the afternoon to see availability assuming for the next day, dispatch was great and had a tech out by 5:45 that night. Tech ran the diagnosis and determined that the charge of freon and HVAC unit was fine but that something was causing restriction. We determined the zoned damper system installed by prior owners was restricting airflow across the evaporator and the cause of my issue. Tech was in and out shortly and ended up not charging me. Great service and would for sure recommend.
Kip and the staff at Superior Service are the best. Not only does he provide service worthy of his business name, he delivers it promptly, professionally, honestly, with integrity and a smile. In fact, quite a few laughs if you choose to engage. He serviced my old furnace 20 years ago when I first purchased my home and I have stayed with his services since. Other people could EASILY have told me its time for a new furnace, but my older model is tuned up and running great. I would highly encourage you to support this local family's business and will continue to suggest Super Service to anyone I know.
Kip and his company are truly there to help and will do all they can to help you. We are so thankful they helped us upgrade our air filter during the wildfires protecting our family from the smoke. Highly recommend!
Kip and his team is the best! They helped me fix my AC unit and it went out again on a Saturday on a 97 degree day. Kip just got back from a trip and still managed to come out same day. Even though it was probably an unrelated issue from the last service, he didn’t charge me a dime. This is how you run a business and keep clients for life.

Responsive, punctual and professional! Occasionally things happen and could have gone better. But when something does happen, the mark of a great company is to take ownership and make it right. That's exactly what happened to us. Kip and Superior Heating proved they were a Great Company and I highly recommend them for your HVAC service.
Kip is the Christmas hero in our house this year. Not only did he get our heat on the same day, he also saved us hundreds of dollars compared to the other quotes that we received (We had four quotes ranging from $950-$1900. He charged us $90). We were convinced we would be replacing our furnace based on other technicians but it turned out to only be a fan issue. We are so grateful!
Arranged to have them fix our heat at the dispensary I manage. They show up four hours late to tell us they will not do the job because we are a dispensary and they do not support the industry. 100% unprofessional company that is in the wrong side of history.
Absolutely top notch service from Kip and his staff all the time. They have been doing my regular heating and air conditioning service but they really came through for me in an emergency. I had a great furnace failure on a 15° night and Kip was there to help me and get it running first thing in the morning. Friendly, attentive and reliable. Worth making them your regular heating company. Five stars.
We have had Kip service our AC and furnace over the course of a few years. On both occasions, he was on time, went above and beyond to fix the problem, even came out on a Sunday for the AC in the dead of summer! He was incredibly affordable and such a pleasure to work with! For me, there is no other choice than Superior Service for our home heating and cooling repairs. Thank you Kip for being a man, and company, with incredibly integrity and spot on service!
GREAT NEWS !!! We are a faith based bussiness and have to share from time to time some AWESOME things that happen here, TODAY IS ONE OF THOSE DAYS! Many of you know that Saturday we had the radio station here all day long "LIVE" This is not cheap! However we felt it was important to get the word out that were here, So we took the plunge! Half way through the day, we had a man from ( SUPERIER SERVICE AC & HEATING) Come in and told us " I was headed out of Bend to go fishing and felt I was suppose to turn around, come in and give you this" as he handed us a business check for 500.00 !!!! ( the balance of our bill for the radio station! How cool is that! It's a BIG God we serve! PLEASE PLEASE go to their face book and let them know how cool they are! This is A Very comminity supportive business that we ALL need to support! Help us give back to them by supporting their business ! Kip does an outstanding job. He has a great work ethic, and is very patient with folks like me, who don't understand how it all goes together. I would highly recommend Kip for any heating and cooling installation or repairs.
