Do not waste your money and time with this company. The new owner is very rude and disrespectful. Shows up after being 9 hours late with no notice. Has an excuse for everything and does not except responsibility for anything he did wrong. Very poor customer service.
I built a new house and had this company install a system. They installed everything but the AC Condenser. Finished up drywall and then called to try and get the unit fired and Condenser installed. No response for months. Finally got ahold of the "owner" on facebook. Got the run around from him. Had another AC Company come try and finish the job. Ended up taking everything out because the duct work was not to code. the returns were way to close to the stove, and on top of that proved that they had installed a used Furnace. Got with American Standard and they graciously replaced it. This company is a complete joke. Take a drive by their location it looks like trash. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY SCAM PEOPLE!!!!! I lost $10K+ on this company last year. If I could give a negative 5 star review I would.
Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever received. First, the guy that came out charged us over $750 to service our 3 units and said our air filters were ok. He did not produce a receipt, he said he was emailing it to us which never happened. Within 2 days our upstairs unit reached 85 degrees and, come to find out, one of our downstairs units wasn’t working at all. The owner came out and admitted that the first guy had probably not even checked our filter and that he clearly did not really do anything. He also admitted that $750 seemed way out of wack. He got our upstairs unit working “ok”, but not great and then it took 2 weeks for him to come out and fix the downstairs unit. We still have not received our filters a month later and after calling several times he still has not produced a receipt for the initial payment. However, he did admit “seeing” it and it was only around $300 which I still have not been reimbursed for. I finally had enough and called the credit card company to stop payment completely. I have no clue how these people have anything but poor ratings. The are simply the worst and do not deserve to be in business.
UPDATE: Serviceman came to my house last night around 6:30 p.m. He apologized for missing the earlier appointment. Cleaned my outside unit with no problem. ORIGINAL: I replaced my entire air and heat system through Wortman in July 2019. I love the new unit and haven't had any problems with it, but in April 2020 when I called for standard maintenance the coronavirus had happened and I was unable to reach them until early June. At that time I was informed that Wortman is now bankrupt but employees are trying to honor the service contracts. I was very appreciative of this and despite the fact I had to wait a month for an appointment, I understood and was willing to wait. I called Wortman yesterday and confirmed the appointment, which was supposed to be at 8:30 a.m. today, but no one ever showed and or called to reschedule. I basically waited a month for nothing. I called them at 10:45 a.m. today to let the scheduler know that their employee didn't show, I'm on my way to work, and no one is at the house. He did apologize, but I can't help but feel duped for waiting a month to be stood up.
Terrible experience. Had an appointment for a simple A/C service. Was scheduled for 1 pm which I made a few weeks in advance. They never even showed up. They did call between 2 and 3 to say they were on the way and asked what Size air filter I needed. But then never called again to say they weren’t coming or even to give an excusE on why they didn’t show. I tried calling back 5 times to find out where they were and the calls would go to a voicemail that was full. So I couldn’t even leave a message to cancel. I took off this afternoon from work to have this service. How does this place have such a high rating? Never trying this place again. I recommend you don’t use them either.
Was 3 hours late. Called to say he was stopping to eat and would be later. Did not bring the proper equipment to even diagnose my issue. Couldn't even be bothered to go and get the proper ladder to do anything at all.
My heat stopped working 3 weeks ago the service guy has been by 4 times has charged me $85 and my heat still don’t work. When you call only one guy ever answers. I called and he had forgot about me. I have a service agreement and have yet to receive any service. I was given a receipt and told to call the number if need. Help and the number is disconnected. The guys who put in the unit were great that’s it. Dont waste your time with this company
A big negative. This company is unreliable and needs to be shut down!! Wouldnt let me post w/o giving a star rating. So I'll hit 1 star although it is definitely not deserved
They replaced my complete Heating & AC System and it feels so nice in the house now. The crew put in a 12 hour day the first day to ensure we had heat that night as it dropped to 24 degrees that night. Very professional crew and excellent workmanship. Highly recommend them.
Greg was very fast to respond and figured the issue out right away. I was really impressed and highly recommend Workman. Greg is great!
We had just bought our first house and it had no central HVAC whatsoever, or ducting. Virginia met me on a Saturday morning and quoted me a great price and assured me of great service. This is precisely what we received! All the men on the crew were polite, conscientious, professional, and clearly proud of the good work they do. They accommodated requests and communicated clearly. I am looking forward to the 10 years of HVAC use under warranty, the system seems great and we are thankful for Wortman making our new home cozy and warm. I am also particularly grateful to Wille who was in charge on the ground, and David who squeezed into the tight spaces. All the lads deserve a pat on the back in the morning meeting!
Eakramul Islam was the service tech that responded to my late night Saturday call for assistance. He responded within minutes of my call to the Wortman service line via phone to let me know when he would come and was exactly on time. He was knowledgeable and rapidly solved the issue which was a faulty float switch. The most remarkable aspect of his visit was his can do attitude and cheerful demeanor. He is an excellent technician and a good guy.
Great customer service. Very friendly staff. Would recommended to anyone that’s looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and great quality of work from a HVAC company.

Wortman gave me a very fair and competitive price on my new York Heat/AC unit. Vinset and Kao arrived at exactly 9 am and began dismantling the old system. Damerius arrived with the new one about a half an hour later. The asked permission to remove the gate and then replaced it asa they got the old one out and the new one in. They were very careful to keep the gate closed as my dog went out occasionally for a check of the situation and a pat or two. The install went very well and they repaired the vent in my kitchen and completely reconstructed the (I believe it is called) plenium from the unit to the duct work. They were very courteous and worked very hard. Cleaned up after themselves and left about 2:45 or 3 pm. Thank you Wortman for a good experience.
Wortman is absolutely the BEST heat and air service. I've used them for over 25 years. They are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them! Eak is absolutely the best service tech ever! He's very knowledgeable and efficient. If you want the very best, call Wortman.

Technician responded quickly to a Saturday call. He quickly identified the problem and got my heating system operating properly just as quick. 👍👍
We had wortman come out to get a second opinion and sure glad we did. Turned out it was a totally different problem and we saved a minimum of $650. Our tech eak was courteous and knowledgeable. Didn't pressure us to get a new unit. But said to keep them in mind when we are ready to replace.
