Efficient, competent, professional, competitive. But, that was 3 years ago. I have since found out the expensive way that the owners are lacking in business ethics. When an incompetent or disgruntled employee vandalizes a customer's HVAC, it's the customer who pays the price. Save yourself the guesswork and go somewhere else in the first place.

This place is the biggest rip off ever. They came to our house that we just bought and installed a thermometer that I BOUGHT!! And replaced a fuse. A few weeks later we get a $240. There is no way that it all costs that much.

I had one of their guys come do a maintenance check. Units were running fine previously, just wanted to get them looked over as we had just bought this house. He did his check and told me everything was good. The next morning when the heat cycled on it was blowing cold air. They sent a different guy out. He found the problem right away. A blown circuit board. It took two days to get that fixed. I never heard another word from them. I assumed they realized the first "tech" had blown the board, since the problem started after he did his check. 3 weeks later, I get a $225 invoice in the mail. I called Friday morning to talk to someone about this invoice. No one called back until Monday. The owner basically told me it was not their problem. A couple weeks later, I look at the filters on the air handlers and they obviously had not been changed in a very long time. That was not mentioned in their "maintenance" check. It was just a bad experience from the moment I called them.

Pros: They fixed my furnace. Cons: Overwhelmed staff. From my first phone call to the day my heat was fixed was 15 days. Problems with communication. Vickery has always had a good name in this town until recently. I hope they get the kinks worked out. Maybe they are just short staffed like every other business right now. I have used them in the past and had a wonderful experience but if this were my first time it would definitely be my last.

Added on parts that didn't need replacing trying to charge for them when heater was still broken. Don't recommend paying them a dime till the job is done! I'd take pictures of your working parts before they come. Not an honest company. Seems like they have a price goal for each house. They overcharge $200 or more for each part and charges for service plus labor upfront before job is done. $150 to come put and look at it..... smh....

Vickrey employee "Travis" responded with next day service. Travis disassembled my ac units exterior panels, assessed the problem and made the necessary changes. He explained everything he did and answered all my questions. He received several work related calls and continued working while he handled the calls. Extremely professional and polite. I heard "Yes Sir" and "Yes Ma'am" numerous times. It was extremely hot and he never slowed down. Vickrey is very fortunate to have an employee with this type of work ethic and attitude. We have used this company a few times. The technicians are FANTASTIC. However the customer service and office ladies are AWFUL. So much so that I have NEVER written a bad review on a company, I always keep it to myself. I want to warn others to please STAY AWAY from this company. We have had many issues with their office ladies. We had an appointment scheduled for 6 days for them to come out. They were busy, we get that. They said they would be out during the day (6 days later). When we scheduled we were told it would be before 6:00 PM. We never got a call that day so we assumed that they got behind and we would hear the next day. That night at 9:00 PM as we are getting ready for bed we get a call from a strange number, our cell phones were on silent at the time so we did not hear it. We call the strange number back 3 minutes after they called and then 10 minutes after they call. No one answered our call so we figured it was a robot call. The next morning my husband calls Vickery office staff to confirm they are still coming. They inform us that the 9:00 PM call the night before was them and since we did not answer they took us off of their list and we would need to reschedule and the soonest they can get us in would be another 6-8 days away. No voicemail was left, they never called to tell us it would be late at night that they would come. The office lady was very rude and informed us they did not need our business as they are very busy. I called RESCUE HEAT & AIR and explain the situation and they are OVERLY NICE and say they will do everything they can to get out and help us. PLEASE PLEASE do NOT use Vickery. Unless you are prepared to answer your phone 24/7 (including LATE LATE at night). I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND calling Resue heat and Air instead! As long time Vickery customers (our parents and family also used Vickery) we have always had to deal with the "rude" office staff but the technicians were good so we put up with it.
