I booked a carpet cleaning through Sears and it was a special 3 rooms for $99, and I added my staircase. The total I was quoted was $164. They showed up and looked over the rooms and then told me it would be $495. The man said he had to add $75 per room because they are over 200ft and another charge for the “cleaning agent”. That is totally bizarre to me. He said he would not move furniture or clean under the beds, so this left hardly any carpet to clean anyways. I politely declined and will be going with another carpet cleaning company.
We called to schedule a steam cleaning of a recliner, a couch, and an area rug. Prices were great, we were told that all three would come to a total of "X". Got online and read a bunch of reviews of people claiming that they were told one price on the phone, but once the technician arrived, they were upcharged significantly for incidentals or came without the proper equipment to do the proper cleaning. We thought...hey...that's gotta be a fluke, how could a company get away with doing that type of thing? SURPRISE! Technician came out saying the total was going to be "X+Y", and he didn't come to do a steam cleaning, he came out with a glorified vacuum cleaner. News flash, I can vacuum my own carpets, we asked for a STEAM CLEANING and were told all three pieces would come to X, and the technician is saying only two of those things came to X and that the third would cost Y. This is NOT miscommunication, this is completely shady service dealing. The evidence is in the frequency in which this happens to other people. Now mind you, Sears is probably going to see this and offer me a way to get this looked into further, which is amazing, seeing as how no one needs this looked into further; we need this type of offhanded dealing dealt with permanently.
Did not like the cleaning. Sears contracted out the job. Did not mention this on website when I made the appointment. The cleaning was not done with the typical steam cleaning but with a rolling brush device that did not clean the way I was expecting. Good luck using Sears, I will NOT do this again.
We've used Sears Carpet / Green Clean for over 15 years. For the first time in (over 15 years) I am unhappy with the service. In our main area (busiest / most traffic) our technician failed to move our couch, which has always been moved without asking. When asked about moving the couch the technician said that we didn't specifically ask to move it / clean under the couch. When mentioned, the technician did not offer to fix the mistake and was ready to leave. Additionally, he was trying to charge us an extra $30 for a stairwell, after I was told that could be counted as a room. (He did fix that). I called to share my dissatisfaction, the manager did offer for the gentleman to come back, which I was not interested in, as he didn't seem willing to correct the oversight. I have kids, dogs and we prepare to have our carpets cleaned by keeping kids / dogs away AND moving furniture. It is an inconvenience and disruption to my household to make this happen ALL over again. I was not offered a refund (even partial). Poor cleaning service and even worse customer service. After 15+ years of being a regular customer, I will no longer be using Sears Carpet / Green Clean.
Giles called 25 minutes in advance of arrival as advertised. He was efficient, explained the process and answered my questions. The price was fair as well.
My carpet still had stains the carpet was saturated took 2 days too dry .The worst part they used a nozzle that wasn't working outside I told them that one wasnt working as they new it and informed me as well .They did move it rate away but it caused water damage on our laminate. I 'still agreed to pay half for this service and still no check this was done on September 4 know full reimbursement would be greatly appreciated considering they did not hold up on there end
Kelvin was professional and quick. He did an awesome job cleaning my carpets.
Possibly the worst service I have ever had. Left carpet soaked after a day and said it was "normal" stunk the house up worse. Came back and yet again terrible service after complaining. Wouldn't refund me. POOR. INCOMPETENT. UNPROFESSIONAL SEARS SERVICE. DON'T say I didn't warn you!!!!
Giles, got to work. Good job and nice guy. Will definitely recommend him and will use him again. Hard worker. My little dog liked him, too! Five stars..no question about it!
Giles was great, came and was thorough and fast! A+++
Today 1/31/19 Giles G cleaned the ducts and the dryer vent. My husband and I are very happy with the service we received. Giles was very professional and polite. We can't believe we waited this long to get the job done. We are very happy. Thanks Giles G. Barbara Bellamy Raleigh, NC
Diligent worker in getting everything done and putting everything back. My landlord felt there was a cheaper opportunity elsewhere, but the service received was reasonably priced.
Giles provided great and efficient service. I can already tell the difference in the air quality. I was having allergies since the change of season, but now the air from the vents is not bothering me. It smells like a furnace rather than dust and who knows what else.
Giles did a great job cleaning our dryer vent. He was knowledgeable and thorough. We would call again!
I found Giles to be v knowledgeable and efficient w our duct cleaning—good to deal w
It was a last minute decision to clean my moms carpets. This company was the only one available on such short notice.
Giles did an excellent job. I will definitely use this service again.
He did a great job, He almost made my 15 year old carpets look new.
We had our ducts and dryer vent cleaned. We had them done previously but the former company did the wrong vent as the driver vent. These guys tracked down our dryer line and actually cleaned it. They were on time, polite and professional.
Clarence was very professional and did a wonderful job on my carpets. I will be more than happy to recommend him to my friends!!!
