What a team! No one ever thinks about what it would feel like when your A/C goes out at the start of an NC summer. It’s hot! Put a lightning storm on top of that that possibly fried all your electrical components. It’s a terrible situation. BUT…guess who dropped in to save the day?! Cool Change Heating & Air! From the first day to the last, Damien, Miles, Santos, Michael and a young lady (apologies, I didn’t catch your name) brought all the knowledge and expertise to get the job done right and as timely as possible. What keeps a great team like this going and coordinated? Well that’s a great scheduler and coordinator like Stephanie and Britteny! They kept us informed every single step of the way from times, days, who was coming to see us that day to just some good ol’ reassuring and kindness. We will always be using Cool Change and recommending their services to everyone. Great job JD and team!

I attempted to schedule a consult and repair to my HVAC. I called on Tuesday at 1PM to schedule an appointment ASAP and they told me that they might be able to fit me in that day or first thing the next day at 8AM. They didn't arrive on Tuesday which I understood, but expected them the next day. Wednesday I called at 8:50 and 10:45 to inquire about ETA and both times I was informed that I was the next person in line and they would let me know an ETA when they were headed my way. At 10:45 I let them know that I would look into other servicers in the area as they weren't able to guarantee service. At that time I still expected a call when they were headed to my location. I didn't receive a call and I'm glad I reached out to someone else to get my HVAC repaired in this heat as they never kept our appointment. I am disappointed in the customer service of this company and won't use or recommend them in the future.

I've worked with the Coolchange team for over ten years. I selected them because I wanted a partner to help maintain my aging units and the entire team delivered. Stephanie and Brittany are always attentive and do an excellent job with contracts and dispatching, creating a superior customer experience. Miles and his service team also continue to exceed expectations with the spring and fall scheduled maintenance. His prior military service shines in his work, marked by his thoroughness and attention to detail. Coolchange replaced both of these AC/Furnace systems in May, and that experience exceeded my expectations. Working with Caleb during the sales and SOW process was a pleasure. He was also very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Most importantly, I want to mention the installation crew, Santos and Michael. Like Miles, they took great care in the work and operated like a machine, completing the installation ahead of schedule. They were very personable and highly attentive as well. Stephanie and Brittany were excellent, as is always the case.

I cannot express enough how great this company has always been to us. I had JD work on my unit years ago when he was just a one man team. Fast forward to now and I can confidently say that his team provides the same quality that he provided many years ago. Story time: I called the number that showed up on my thermostat when my AC broke over the weekend because I didn’t think Cool Change was open on weekends. Long story short the company they sent came out for 2+ hours and couldn’t figure out the issue so they wanted to replace 2 major components for almost $4000. Called JD and Cool change during the week to send someone to look behind the other company. Miles and Vanessa(great attitude and very smart) were sent over to do some magic. In less than an hour they figured it out and was done within the next hour. They were able fix the issue for less than $200. Don’t let these other companies trick you. JD and his team are honest and has been my go to and will always be my go to HVAC team.

Miles is amazing! He came in, looked at my system which had been out of maintenance service for the last two years. He went up and down, in and out of the entire system and didn't miss anything. He showed me everything that was needed which in turn needed to be tuned and fixed and he was amazing about it from the get go. I highly recommend Miles to anyone and I want to makes sure he is the one who comes out to look at my system moving forward and for all changes for that matter including the duct work which does need to be fixed as the prior company did not do it properly. Miles had me come into the crawl space and showed me where the system needed fixing, he fixed some vent louvers that were not working, some duct work that had popped out, a few holes and the floor vents so the system worked at 100%! Miles rocks and is an asset to Cool Change and I hope he stays working with them and can help others understand their HVAC systems as well as Miles helped me understand mine today. Top notch!

If you are looking for professional, quality work, look no further. We started to smell a slight gas smell when our heat kicked on. One call and they were on their way in the same day. Between owner J.D., technicians Randy (and his team), Miles, Freddy, and office managers Chelsea and Becca, our experience was as smooth and pleasant as possibly could be. We needed two HVAC systems installed. Despite supply chain issues, Cool Change was able to secure two top-of-the line Carrier/Bryant models by our scheduled date. The technicians showed-up early, worked efficiently and quickly, and wrapped before early evening. Communication was stellar - my partner and I never felt out-of-the-loop or like we had to chase anyone down for answers. The technicians and J.D. were great about explaining everything in layman's terms, from the issues with our old systems as well as potential financing options. Over the weekend following the install, we needed a minor fix to our drainage system. J.D. went out of his way to address personally - a true sign of high-quality service. We'll be signing up with their yearly maintenance plan once our labor warranty lapses. At this point, I wouldn't trust anyone else near our systems - I'd doubt anyone else could do as good a job. I am very impressed with the services provided by Cool Change. JD's estimate to replace our 25 year old air handler + heat pump and replace the ductwork beat the other 4 estimates I had received. I was thrilled he honored that estimate when we finally decided to take the plunge and buy the new system months later. Chelsea ensured we had a smooth process from there forward scheduling and updating us with (accurate) team arrival times. I couldn't have asked for a better tech with Randy. He kept me appraised of what was happening over the two day installation and answered all questions. My dog Zoe loved him. I was a little suspicious due to the perfect ratings Cool Change has, but they're well deserved. Thanks guys!

Around 7pm I called Cool Change Heating and Air with an emergency with my heating system. The owner picked up the phone and was very helpful and personable. Within minutes, he had a specialist who was called out to my home to fix the issue. The specialist, Nic, was knowledgable, professional, and thorough in explaining his process and how he knew for certain what the issue was. He provided clear explanation of each step he was taking and why, and even showed pictures of what the issue was. From start to finish, the specialist had been called, fixed the issue, and was gone in 2 hours. The service I received was phenomenal, and I will absolutely be using Cool Change for future issues and maintenance.

Cool change installed my new furnace over Christmas time 2019, they ran into some issues with my old ductwork. Randy and team worked hard and stayed late to deal with all that. I really appreciate their dedication and workmanship. There was an issue with a (faulty) circuit breaker a few months after installation, they came out and replaced it right away, and also a minor issue with the condensate line, which they caught and fixed. They own their work which I really like. Here we are a year into the new furnace, and I'm hiring them to change all my ductwork, and seal up my crawlspace. I anticipate good work, good value, and them to continue to provide good service to me. 5 stars!
