Randy went above and beyond to help my mom when her AC went out. He and Matt made sure her AC was up and running quickly and without breaking the bank.
I've been very pleased with the HVAC installations and service that Randy Carter and his team provided me over the years. Recently, my air conditioner stopped working and Randy came to diagnose the problem the next day. He gave me good information about pros and cons of repairing the old unit vs replacing it, without pressure to spend $$ on a new unit. I elected to replace the old furnace and air conditioner and replace the ductwork. Randy scheduled it promptly, he and his team got it done quickly, and he improved the original ductwork design for better air handling. During the installation process, Randy texted or called about any scheduling changes. He brought in an experienced electrician, Tommy Crocker, whose charges were very reasonable. During the installation, Randy's crew protected my flooring with painter's tarps that they placed everywhere that they carried equipment in or out. I asked Randy if he could apply expanding foam to better seal the holes where the ductwork poked through the attic floor, and he did that without charging extra. I especially appreciate that he and his crew wore ventless N95 masks at my request to keep the air in my home clean in case any crew member might be pre-symptomatic with one of the contagious viruses that are going around. Randy left the worksite pristine. I recommended him to a neighbor whose AC had failed, and he was there the next morning. This level of service is why I'm renewing my annual service contract with Carter Heating & Air. Special thanks to his crew for this job: Terry, Matt, Austin, Abi.
Quick service and reasonable prices.
Randy and his son Austin are always quick to come out and diagnose what's going on with our AC units and have been very professional. We've had to replace both of our AC units with them because of non-working old units and they did it at a competitive rate and took the time to explain everything to us. I would highly recommend!
I had a card for Carter Heating an Air and thought they were the company who installed our unit but they were not. Mr Carter was kind enough to help me identify the company that did the installation making it possible for me to get warranty service. Thank you Carter Heating and air for your fine neighborly practice. He surely didn't have to go out of his way to do that.
I have trusted Randy and his team for many years. They have been above and beyond excellent in all regards. Randy has done an excellent job in maintaining a family first business with accountability but still timely and responsive even if it means him coming late or on a weekend. His employees are always friendly and professional. They always work hard to problem solve and come up with the best value solution. I highly recommend for all HVAC needs whether repair or installation as I have done all throughout the years.
Felix and Roger did a fantastic job. They were very efficient and courteous. My family has been using Carter for a very long time now and will continue to do so.
They were significantly less expensive than the other bids, and replaced an entire dual zone system in one day in the summer. Has worked great since then.
These guys are my super heroes - quick response and work neatly, efficiently, and in a timely manner.

Reliable and thorough. Great on a scheduled appointment and super when it come to an emergency. We have used Carter Heating & Air for 8 years now and have never been disappointed. You will not be either.
No Heat, Below 40 at 4:00 PM, below 30 the next two nights. Carter Heating & Air conditioning found a way to get to this property and some how get the gas heat working. Carter provided 2 written offers to replace the unit. A- replace with original and B improve the home by adding a second vent in the master, increasing the size of the return duct, and installing the circuit board along with the damper motors, 2nd thermostat, and associated items as well as replacing with a size larger and more efficient unit. B was my choice was to follow the recommendations Mr. Carter. Work has been completed, no complaints, neat and clean. They even took the trash with them after showing me how the two thermostats control the 2 zone / split system. Larry Day
Love these folks! Randy Carter is a good, honest type of guy. Have recommended him to friends who have had no complaints. Neighbor was having HVAC work done and I walked over to see them. The owner of the installer company handed me his card and asked who I was using for my HVAC. Told him Randy Carter and he replyed "Oh...he's a good guy and he'll treat your right. Quit trying to sell me at that point.
A couple years ago we were having trouble with our outside gas pack. We called one local company who told us that we needed to replace the entire unit (at the time it was about 3 years old). We decided to call Carter Heating and Air and learned that it only needed one part that was under warranty. The Carter tech ordered the part and came to install it. Everything has been working very well since then. We continue to use Carter Heating and Air for our annual maintenance. Always competent and honest. Really appreciate them. I've done business with Carter Heating and Air for many years and have always been very pleased with the service. Randy and his team are very honest and professional. They do quality work at a fair price. I came home from vacation one Sunday afternoon in the middle of July to a house that was over 90 degrees. I called and got immediate response. As luck would have it one of those summertime thunderstorms popped up but it didn't deter the technician. He replaced a bad fan motor in my outdoor unit in the pouring down rain to get my system going and my house cooled down. That's the kind of service I've gotten from Carter Heating and Air.
The folks at Carter Heating and Air were amazing to work with! They installed a new unit for us, and despite us having a tiny attic access port for them to work in, they did the job right, quickly, and it was very fairly priced. I'd use their services again in a heartbeat!
