17 year old AC died. This is a busy time yet two techs managed to come out today. They explained in depth my options for the repair. About ten years ago Ken put another heat pump system in the 2 zone home which is running fine. There is a reason that Chatham AC has been here for 40 years. They do good work at a reasonable price.
I'm giving two stars because I called Chatham HVAC in hopes of hiring them to service a few dozen units for me, left a message and never received a call back.

I have been doing business with this company for about 13 years and I'm absolutely satisfied with every service call. They go "above and beyond". Absolutely no rip off from Ken Mathis and Chatham Heating and Air Conditioning.

I've never met such quick and skilled repairmen. Justin and Phillip showed up just a few minutes after being called. They arrived with masks on and greeted me in a kind and professional manner. In about fifteen minutes, they explained, and repaired the problem. I was dreading calling for a repair but now I'm smiling in a cool house. Thank you!

Our AC unit broke on a Friday and they came same day to fix it. Great team and very knowledgable. They are my go-to next time!!

Could hardly have been more helpful in both quickly diagnosing a problem with a unit he had nothing do with originally AND in fixing it on the spot AND for realizing that Patty is the member of our household who basically knows how things work and explaining things to her rather than to me. When we need a new unit, we'll just go around the corner.

Ken was very accommodating and squeezed us in during a 100 degree heat wave. His 35+ years in the business gave him greater credibility. Our choice was to buy an American Standard 3-ton 14 seer unit which he and his crew installed. We would recommend Chatham Heating and A/C to anyone who wants an honest analysis of your heating or cooling issues.
