Prompt service! AC went out around 6 PM on Saturday night. Andrew came Sunday & had my AC up & running shortly after lunch on Sunday. I had other commitments early Sunday morning so we scheduled for 1 PM. Thank you Andrew & Helms!
My tech was very kind, knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions, explain things and offer suggestions and products that will help me as a new home owner. He was also respectful of my home by wearing shoe covers.

This company had to remove a old air conditioner that was attached to my house and they had to remove brick from my house also I was told that another company that was doing restoration on my house was going to come in and clean the brick up but I have called that company and they said they knew nothing about it so this company left bricks in my yard and on top of that I have asked them not to drive their vehicles in my yard the first day they came out but yet the second day they came back they were still driving their vehicles in my yard oh and by the way don't come back for your son I've done disposed of it

Greg called prior to arrival and was on time. Very friendly, pleasant to have him in my home as a technician. I would be comfortable leaving him in my house alone knowing that he would do a great job with or without me being home. The Helms technicians always are punctual and thorough in all aspects of their work. They explain what they're going to do to address any issues I may have.
Helms heating and air installed a unit in our new build 18 months ago. We made it through 2 summers with a brand new unit. Now entering a third warm season, and conveniently right out of warranty, the unit starts freezing up. It’s not a filter issue, it’s not a leak. It’s a broken damper motor, NO temperature sensor actually installed on the unit as it SHOULD HAVE BEEN, and no bypass damper installed as a fail safe. We of course, did not find this out through helms. We called helms. They told us to CALL SOMEONE ELSE because they couldn’t get out for a week and half. Nice. So now because of their shoddy work on a literal BRAND NEW HVAC unit, we are spending on over $700 to repair what they messed up on a brand new unit in a brand new home. Thankfully we found another honest company to come out and assist. I would stay away from using these guys.
We use Helms for both our business AND our home, and they have always been great. But last night, they were EPIC!!!!! WOW! Our upstairs AC thermostat wouldn't accept commands, and we simply called asking them to help us with the unlocking or programming. But they knew just by our describing the issue it was something else. So, at 9 PM no less, their tech came, quickly fixed the issue (a blown circuit board) and had us good to go in an hour AND at a shockingly reasonable fee. Their Tech, Mikhail, was charming, funny, personable AND ultra skilled. Home Run Helms, and thank you!
From the moment I called Helms to get Quotes, to scheduling the first appointment, everyone I came in contact with were very pleasant and professional. All the Options about the various HVAC systems were explained and my questions were answered. The Techs that installed the Indoor and Outdoor unit were very thorough. I am very glad I chose Helms for my installation. Their Customer Service is outstanding!

The tech (Andrew) was very impressive. Clearly knew what he was doing, quickly identified the issues in my system and was very good at explaining what he had done and found and why the things he identified as issues matered. I was very confident in his diagnosis as a result. Both parts required for my system were on his truck and were replaced in the same visit. Andrew also pursued manufacturere warranty options on both parts saving mew a few hundred dollars. I've taken out a service contract with Helms as result of this service call. Very impressed with the service and highly recommend
