When I purchased my home 3 yrs. ago I was aware that the HVAC equipment was aging and would be due for replacement in a couple of years. When the first warm weather arrived this year I couldn't get the AC condenser to turn on. Standard Service was recommended by a neighbor since I wasn't happy with the company that had previously serviced the equipment. Justin was able to schedule me within the week and found that the unit was fried; it had either sustained a massive power surge or a possible lightning strike. Due to the age and cost involved, repair wasn't even considered. He advised me to contact my insurance company and provided me with a damage report and a quote for replacement. The insurance adjuster agreed with Justin's finding and I scheduled the replacement. Due to the age of the furnace I made the decision to replace that at the same time. During the installation Justin found an issue with some of the ductwork and made the repair without any additional cost. Justin was professional and ethical. He answered all of my questions and upon completion the work areas were left neat and clean. Justin did a follow-up a week later to ensure that things were running well. I would happily recommend Standard Service to anyone needing HVAC services.

The service that was done was above and beyond anything that has ever been done to the units we have. They cleaned things that I didn’t know existed. Found issues and repaired as they were there and notified me of the situation. Glad we hired them.
I have been using Standard Service for 2 or 3 years now, including installation of a new furnace/AC unit and a recent maintenance visit. Justin communicates well, is always on time, professional, courteous, and explains everything he is doing. His pricing is quite reasonable and fair. I can recommend him without hesitation.

Justin and his assistant are a GODSEND. They were punctual, incredibly knowledgeable, affordable and just overall astoundingly professional! Justin is more than willing to listen and discuss the issues and options that are available to you to make your HVAC issues NON-EXISTENT. I called Standard Service Company around 8:30am and was quoted an arrival time in between 2:00-4:00pm. (SAME DAY!) They were prompt, diagnosed the issues and had the unit fixed BEFORE the allotted time window of their arrival. Long story short, If you're looking for someone who actually CARES about you and your family, do not hesitate to call Justin at Standard Service Company. I know that I will be referring all of my friends and neighbors as Standard Service Company is FAR from standard.. They're EXCELLENT. Thank you both again for everything!

Justin responded the same day when I told him the mini split AC heat unit in my guest cottage was not blowing cold air and guess we're arriving. he quickly diagnosed the problem and made a repair and recharge the system...blowing ice cold. I could not recommend him more highly!
Justin replaced the AC, air handler, heating element and thermostat in my home. He and his helper were professional and courteous through the entire install and calibration process. Though there were some unexpected issues that required more time and effort, no additional charges were added to the original estimate. They always showed up on time and answered all my questions thoroughly. I'd gladly recommend them to my friends and neighbors.
Justin serviced my HVAC that was installed a couple of years ago. He noticed something was off with the temperature setting that switches from heat pump to natural gas. The setting was at 20 degrees and it caused cool air to circulate unnecessarily. I am glad he discovered this issue and made the change. I definitely intend to use this company for future HVAC needs.

We had a long time leak on a unit that was difficult to find. They showed up on time, fixed the leak, and came back to check that everything was working properly later. Great experience.
We had Standard Service Company replace our HVAC system this year. Justin was extremely professional, on time, knowledgeable and honest. He answered any and all questions that we had regarding the system. The quality of work is on another level. It is nice to see someone take pride in their work and stand behind it 100%.
