I called NexGen at 2PM because our AC was on the fritz. Cody completed his work on a jobsite, took care of another service call and by 6:40 he had diagnosed and replaced the faulty capacitor. Fantastic service!
My landlord chose NexGen to replace our heat pump/HVAC, which was extremely old and awkwardly placed. The crew is knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. Even though I know nothing of their pricing, but they are absolutely worth it. My landlord already has another possible job for them. I think it's a win anytime both the landlord and tenant are happy with maintenance of any sort.
Cody was beyond helpful and was able to see us quickly when our heat suddenly stopped working. We will definitely be using them in the future if needed!

I had an amazing experience. My AC stopped working during the hottest week of the year and other HVAC companies were booked weeks out with hefty fees just for coming to assess the unit. Set it and forget it came same day and serviced my unit for an affordable price with a user friendly payment system and very kind professional service.

We have a new park model and the mini splits were not working. I called about the problem Monday and he came after hours on Tuesday and got the units fixed. He was very nice and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend him to anyone.
If I could recommend ONE company for any house's repairs/fixes, it would be Cody (hvac)!!! After filling my oil tank to run the furnace for the winter, it wouldn't start. I called around to 3 different companies and nobody would schedule me for at least a week and the quoted prices for a furnace tune-up were between $250-$500...luckily, I came across Cody's ad and he came out the next day for $160! While performing the tune-up, he informed me the pump was old and asked if I wanted to replace it now or wait to see if it failed (absolutely zero up-selling on his end!)...being thrifty, I of course said let's wait and see...well sure enough, the pump failed after 2 weeks...Cody came back and replaced it at 8 pm for an extra $30 labor!!! In an industry (hvac) infested with over-charges and predators, Cody is a truly a trustworthy person! I will recommend him to anybody who'll listen. P.S. I'm not over exaggerating...include him in your quotes and you'll see for yourself!!

We moved to Asheville, NC almost two years ago and was fortunate to have Set it and forget It do all of the Heating and AC work at our home. Cody was very professional and went out of his way to ensure our furnace and AC was working appropriately. He is very affordable and frankly we won’t go to anyone else. If you are looking for someone who is a true expert in his field and want the work done right then you will want to contact Set it and Forget it.

Had some problems with my AC. Cody came out and was very friendly and professional. Did not mind my requests to have him wear a mask while we were talking about the issue. He gave me a couple of options for solutions, one more expensive and one less expensive. I appreciate the honesty, because he could have just as easily only told me about the expensive option. He had the job finished the same day, for what I believe was a very fair price. I highly recommend.
I had an unpleasant experience with two other companies hired by my Home Warranty company to find out what was wrong with my a/c. Each of them tried to charge me $1100-$3100 for the repair. They were both in a hurry and just shady. Local word-of-mouth allowed me to find Set it and Forget it and I’m so thankful for it. He was professional and polite from the first phone call until the job was done. Without knowing two companies came before him, he found the real problem quickly, and explained what he was doing every step of the way. I found out that the first two companies were really trying to rip me off and he saved me hundreds, if not thousands. He is very knowledgeable and respectful, the only one out of three who put foot protection on to protect my carpets. He was also the only one who took the time to explain things and was reasonably affordable. I couldn’t speak more highly of my experience and will certainly call again anytime I have HVAC problems.
