Super people!
We woke up to 49° in our house. First we called our home warranty company and also did an online service request about 730 am. Christmas eve morning. No response AT ALL. We called Hobgood that afternoon and talked to a real person. She said they were completely booked and were scheduling for Monday. By noon Monday they were here and the problem was fixed. Great people, great service. Just call them first and your life will be better!
If you're unsure which business to call for your HVAC... call this one! My HVAC started pushing out "not very cold air" and then freezing over. My unit is 8 years old and this is the first real problem. I called early afternoon and had an appointment the same day. Service guy was on time, fast, and super professional. Most importantly, I think he was honest and the business is trustworthy! Luckily, my issue wasn't that serious (small leak near the coil connectors, a pound of refrigerant, and a little clog) but he could have told me nearly anything and I would have paid for it. Instead they kept it real, fixed me up, and suggested I get on a service plan for 2 check ups a year (I needed to do that anyway) and they can keep an eye on the little leak. He even offered to check if the coil is under warranty and get back to me with a quote so I know what to expect when it does finally need fixed. You already know who I'll be calling for that work when it's time!
Very professional, punctual, and thorough. The techs were actually early for the appointment and got right to work. They explained everything they were doing and the cause and fix for the issue. I would definitely recommend!

Very trustworthy and honest, clean and safe to have over. I can have him in the house without a worry, he accurately diagnosed the issue and got us up and running again. Five stars all the way around!

Love, love, love this company! Everyone is so friendly and professional, and you can tell they know what they’re talking about. We had Hobgood replace our HVAC system in May of 2020, but the thermostat recently went out. Brandon came and replaced it and thoroughly checked the temperature of our vents to ensure that everything was working smoothly! Can’t recommend this business enough!
Hobgood Mechanical will deliver a better product, at a better price, and with better customer service before AND after the sale than any HVAC I've experienced in 2 decades of homeownership. We had a mystery electrical problem that fried our upstairs 2 year old system and it's outside A/C unit. Hobgood really listened to what was important to us: 1. isolate equipment from future surges to reduce risk and feel safe 2. reduce unnecessary rework 3. a good SEER rating at a good price They accomplish all 3 and protected our downstairs system while we determined the source. AND they did all this, including followups, during the worst weeks of summer heat. We tried 4 other companies including another Daikin dealer. Hobgood Mechanical was the best customer experience by far.
AC has been out for over two weeks Brandon came on and it up and going in less than 2 hrs price was good service was outstanding i woo definitely be using these guys for all of my hvac needs from yearly maintenance and everything n between if i could give ten stars i would thanks guys one other additional bonus customer service is over the top

Great experience with Hobgood! The technician showed up on time, and finished my A/C service very quickly! Since the service call, my A/C has been cooling and dehumidifying with no trouble at all. Quick, accurate, and courteous service deserves repeat business! Edit to add - we had to have a technician out again, and Brandon was great. Thankfully we only had a blown capacitor, and he had it replaced in no time, flat. He also gave us an honest assessment of our AC unit and set very realistic expectations for us. Hobgood is doing their damndest to retain us as customers throug punctual, high-quality service; and honestly, they've got us! Thanks again, Hobgood!!

Outstanding customer support. Adam and his team installed a mini split and a furnace on my townhouse and I can't be happier. This team continues to perform and their prices are very fair. Will continue to use Hobgood and would recommend to anyone looking for HVAC work!

The technicians was early to perform the work. The technicians explained everything that they were doing to repair the system. They repaired the system quickly. The technicians were friendly and nice. It is nice to have someone nice and friendly to do a job. I called the office to ask about payment methods and the lady that answered was really nice and mannerable. She said yes sir at least 5 times. You can trust the people that work for this company.
This guy is amazing! I used them last winter. I had problems with both the upstairs and downstairs heat pumps. The upstairs was stuck running on heat. The downstairs blower wouldn't shut off if the outside was too cold. This man shows up on time without even knowing the problems. He diagnosed both issues and fixed them on the spot. He starts to write my repair bill and I braced myself....then wow....Very affordable and reasonable! Hobgood, you have a permanent customer in Creedmoor!
