The service received is not worth the price. It took three visits to fix an easy problem, costing me excessive labor costs. TMS also flushed out my combi unit a year ago, but another company had to come in yesterday and clean it out. It was so filled up with calcium deposits, it clogged the unit causing a leak. It looked like it was never serviced before.

I've been using TMS Thermo (also goes under the name of Matthew Kandefer Plumbing & Heating) since their acquisition of Danforth's Residential customers (a few years). Our Air Conditioning has given us some trouble in recent years, mostly due to age, and whenever it needs service these folks are here to do it. Summer months tend to be busier on the schedule, especially at the start of the first major heat wave, but they will work quickly once on site to get the cool air flowing again. My best experience has been with calling them on Thanksgiving Eve late at night for service on the furnace, after it failed to fire up (first time for my unit). Common with Buffalo, it was going to be very cold out the next day (that's when everything breaks right?). I was surprised to get a call from them on Thanksgiving and have a technician fix the problem within 15 minutes, and my house was warm just in time for the Thanksgiving dinner. Whether I am getting an inspection done or whether it is a repair, the technicians are friendly and up front, and are always happy to show the problem and explain why the part broke as they fix it. The phone staff are also friendly and understanding.

So I woke up at 3:30 am to a very cold house. Inducer motor on my furnace stopped spinning. Called Tim Joldos at 8am on what has been the coldest day of the year. He had me set up with a new furnace to replace my 21 year old clunker and a crew working on it before 10am! Tim even set us up with 0% financing and a cool WiFi thermostat as a bonus. Anyway from worrying that my pipes were gonna freeze at 3:30 am to sweating at 7pm!! Great service and a very professional crew. I can’t thank you guys enough.
