Michael and his team were fantastic to work with, extremely professional & dedicated to ensuring the job get done efficiently and successfully. Couldn't be happier with the service. Our A/C broke down during 90+ heat. Despite all the supply channel problems, Michael was optimistic he could get a new system installed within 2 days - and he did! His crew was very professional, picking up all the packaging material and cleaning up after their job. Would highly recommend!
Our air conditioner stopped working over-the weekend called MFB on a Sunday hoping we could get someone over on Monday,Mike was over within a couple of hours and fixed the problem pretty quickly. We were so thankful for his quick response to resolving the issue. We highly recommend MFB, you will be extremely happy with the service!!
I used MFB Mechanical for the installation of a central Air/Heat system in my new home. From the jump Michael and Tisha were very responsive and always on top of everything. From the estimate to applying for town permits, everything went smooth. MFB did a great job of running the ductwork where we wanted it and they did not leave a big mess at the end of the job. There was some debate on which thermostat to choose and ultimately we chose to go with the nest units because we already had one and loved the convenience of being able to change the temperature from our phones. MFB also installed a Mitsubishi ductless unit in two of our rooms in addition. Those units are very efficient and quiet. All in all they did a fantastic job at an affordable price. I would highly recommend them.
We have used Mike for over ten years for our home and our restaurant Quaker Hill Tavern in Chappaqua. What I am impressed by the most is his honesty and integrity. Having a restaurant during COVID-19 is not easy, especially with no AC. Mike was able to move things around for us so we could have keep the customers we have and need. Not only did he come in a timely matter, he also found that we just needed a cleaning on one unit not a new motor, like a previous company quoted us. That is the meaning of integrity and trust. I have known Mike since 2014 and he has done many HVAC projects for me over the years. He installed a new AC unit and the entire duct work when we were rebuilding our home. He took care of any and all issues during and after the installation. Mike is very dependable, has an engineering and veteran background, very professional and get things done at a very fair price. If there are any HVAC related projects - he is the first and only person I would call. Very highly recommend (be it residential or commercial)!
This company showed up on short notice and finished a job my previous plumber had walked out on saying it was to hard. Quality work , fair pricing!! The unit was installed last week and the pilot light went out. Mike , the owner , was there in an hour !!
Installed new HVac system and two new AC unit for my home. The project was finished on time. Any issues with the unit were promptly addressed after just one phone call. I paid exactly what the estimate was and no haggling. In summary , reliable and professional service provided on multiple encounters.
I have known Mike and his MFB mechanical company since 2012. He is THE most dependable, reliable and responsible professional for home heating and cooling needs. He has showed up in heavy rain and snow storm, even as late as midnight and most of the time for crisis or emergency visits. His rates are reliable and comparable to market rates. The owner Mike is a marine and a man of his words. I highly recommend him without any hesitation. His work is impeccable and his staff is very patient and understanding. Give him a chance and you will become his permanent customer like most of my friends and us.

I hired them to install my hvac system for my restaurant. From the beginning I got horrible service,not responding the calls or messages nor having answer for my questions on time. However I decided to use them they gave me reasonable quote and told me it will take about 2 weeks to get permits etc. They wanted to have the complete job with materials and labor, I didn't want to have materials from them bc was expensive and need to pay 50% down. I decided to order materials from ecomfort with lower price and installment agreement, it was easy to pay for me. Michael (owner) came to my business checked everything, measured etc.and told me what he needs as material. I asked him to confirm what exactly I need to order,3 indoor units 1 outdoor condenser 1 heater pan, 1 condenser pump,3×50ft total 150ft line sets and clear hose. I checked with him the capacity of the units and the rest of the equipment I need to order. He checked the list and told me order everything in the list i sent him by text message. After him and his staff finished the installation I saw the condenser pump in the box unused! I asked him that you want me to order this pump but you didn't use it! He goes ah I thought we will need it but not any more, I got angry and said ok take it back then you use it and I'll deduct from your balance. He took it with him and left. Later I was checking the materials and I saw he didn't use at least 60% of the line sets he made me order it! I put everything into box and put in basement. When he came to ask me to pay the balance I told him you told me to order 150ft of line sets and you didn't use easy 100ft of it!!! I paid nearly $700 for 150ft of line sets. I told him I will deduct $500 from his balance with returned condenser pump (paid $120) then I can give his check. He said no it's not my responsibility you bought the materials I just installed it. If you want you can sell it on ebay he told me. I said I have whole text messages saved in my phone that you told me
