Needed maintenance on my AC unit. Had Angel as a technician. Found some existing issues and repaired them. He was polite and thorough in his work. Explained everything to me and even took pictures so I could see what he was referring to. I was very satisfied. I will be sure to request him in the future.

We are so happy with our central A/C, installed 2 years ago . Bruno figured out my problem in just a few minutes with my thermostat. It was just a technical issue easy to fix.
It’s not often that I leave reviews on Google for anybody, let alone services rendered. That said, to describe myself as “satisfied” following the services I received today from First Choice would be a terrible understatement. Not only was their representative and repair guru, Angel Garcia, on time for the fix, he was everything you could ever hope for or dream of in a service rep, plus more. He was friendly, courteous, professional, thorough, not to mention exacting in detail, and explanatory of his process. We initially believed our A/C unit might need a coolant boost, but within a few moments of arriving, Mr. Garcia not only eagle-eyed some significant wiring damage (damn rodents - invest in steel wool, people!) but a potentially hazardous sparking issue with the connectors on its hard start kit. Throughout, Mr. Garcia explained every step of the repairs, patiently answered all our questions while working, yet was good-humored and utterly committed to perfection right up to completion. Not only will I and my family be returning to First Choice for our future HVAC service calls, I will specifically request the expertise and personage of Mr. Garcia, who went above and beyond for us in every sense of the word. I cannot recommend him or the business of First Choice more highly, and encourage anyone reading this to seek them out if things should start to swelter in the coming days and weeks (and let’s face it folks: this is Jersey, so you know it’s gettin’ sweaty). As for Mr. Garcia… what more can I say? He truly lives up to his first name. Thank you again, Angel!
Angel from First choice was very informative and helpful. He came to the job site, got his tools and started the inspection and tune up process for my unit. He gave tips and tricks to help keep our HVAC unit in excellent condition. Thank you Angel for your hard work and dedication, we hope to see you again when we need another tune up.
I called First Choice to see why the unit wasn't blowing cold air. I thought it would be a lot more serious, but with the help and honesty from Alex, rest assured I was in the right hands. Before even coming in, he asked if we could look at your unit outside. He showed me and explained that the unit had ice on it, which was caused due to the filter being old and used. Easy enough, he showed me, and that was the issue. He was honest and extremely helpful. Also, he was such a stand-up guy who displayed professionalism and care. I highly recommend Alex, and I am so glad I met him!
First Choice was recommended to me by a family member who was very happy with their service. Gerard came out and checked out our boiler and water heater. He knew I was worried as both appliances are old. He did NOT try to sell us what we didn't need. He was honest and very easy to talk to. He suggested a cleaning of the boiler to check if it really needed to be replace. (Which I never had done) Angel came out. Once he saw the boiler he said absolutely DO NOT replace. It was in good shape. Thanks, Angel you saved us a lot of money!! He was also very up front, honest and very easy to talk to. He did feel the water heater should be replace. This we plan on doing soon by First Choice. Thank you for a great experience.

I called another company and it turned out to be a totally different problem than diagnosed. It was misdiagnosed in the first place and there is some leakage in the pipe. I just gave a three star rating because although the technician was pleasant my problem was not solved even a bit after spending $500 plus dollars , he explained that it would slow down the dripping and not stop it, but it did not even slow Down the condensation dripping at all , I guess I spent all the money on something that was not really needed Thanks This is in response yo your reply: The point is that your technician said the above services would make some doffrence in the condensation although it will not correct the problem, it has made a zero difference if not worse than before. The whole reason of my service call was this condensation issue. I Wouldnt have spent any money if this was not supposed to make any difference at all . difference tried calling your office and they had no idea who contacted me .
Called for an estimate on replacing the valve in my basement. Matt came out and was very professional nice and courteous. He changed the valve in the basement and the outdoor valve as well in a matter of minutes. First choice has great employees with unmatched skill. I’ve used them for an AC replacement and will continue to use them for their unsurpassed professionalism and work quality. Thanks First Choice!!

My a/c had been limping along for a few seasons. During my annual maintenance I was presented with 3 choices. I opted to upgrade. The installation team of Amando and Oscar arrived exactly on time. Detected some electrical work that no longer complied with current building code. They completed the job in record time, including the additional work of bringing my system up to code. The work was done with consideration to my home, especially my carpet. They cleaned up after themselves. My new A/C is quieter and more efficient. I highly recommend 1st Choice. I’ve used them for years and always been pleased. All the techs are knowledgeable, friendly and neat!
