Needed my service line replaced, Matthew came right out and did the job in a timely manner. Priced reasonably and Matt was so helpful and professional! Will absolutely call these guys again if needed!
I called this place to get a quote on some work we need done and the owner was so friendly and VERY helpful! Unfortunately we are out of their service area so we couldn't move forward but the thing that really impressed me most was that even though they couldn't make a sale with us, the owner took time to help educate me and gave me some great tips that I wouldn't have known otherwise. Not many people go out of their way for someone who isn't a customer and that they can't make money on so I wanted to come here to thank them for the help and share my experience.
The gentleman who helped with an emergency heating issue on a weekend after being wo heat for over 24 hrs was prompt, extremely helpful and understanding. Top notch service!

I need a new HVAC system and spent my weekend searching the internet for information. I decided to contact SG Heating because I was impressed with their website. I called early morning and spoke to Scott, I think he is the owner. I learned more from talking to Scott for 5 minutes than I did on all of my research. He is obviously very knowledgeable and a straight talker. No sales pitch, just useful facts. Just like his website. I felt I could trust Scott and was ready to have him install my new system, I was very disappointed to learn he does not cover the Ocean City area. I was especially impressed with how much help and information he gave me, even after it was clear he would not be able to do the work. Exceptional quality; top-flight company delivering consistently excellent service, competitively priced. We originally met Scott from SG when we were looking to install a whole-house generator after Hurricane Irene in 2011. They did such an amazing job installing and maintaining our Kohler generator that we went on an Annual Contract, and SG became our regular HVAC and etc. contractor shortly after, and have been ever since. I write “HVAC and etc.” because beyond maintain the generator and HVAC, they’ve done plumbing and electrical work for us as well, and every single job they’ve done has been perfect: Exactly as promised, on time, cleaned up after, and reasonably and competitively priced. They’re quite amazing—in the run up to Hurricane Sandy in 2012, without being asked Scott came out to check the generator before the storm hit, and then with the electric service our for days, he did the same. SGHAC are a remarkably friendly crew, who has always delivered service beyond expectation. Highest recommendation…

We just moved to Hamilton and wanted to support local businesses. We're happy we did. Tim and his team were great. They were timely and professional. We had a couple of projects requested and Jaime worked tirelessly to complete everything. The results were great and we will be going back to SGHAC for our future projects.
The team at SG is excellent. I have had an HVAC service contract with SG for >5 years. Janice, Scott, Tim and Zac are very knowledgable and responsive, more so than some other HVAC folks in the area that I had used prior to discovering SG. They provide me a level of confidence and peace of mind that I have not before experienced. They have replaced 1 HVAC system, 1 gas-fired hot water heater, 2 bathroom faucets and will shortly be installing a replacement HVAC system for the lower floor of my home. Their installations, as well as their maintenance, is excellent.
100% recommend, they are professional, friendly and honest. I called on a weekend because I was having issues with my old furnace that they installed back in 2005. The temperature outside was 17F so I needed a quick answer from them. I left a message and the owner, Scott Greiff called me back in no time. I explained in detail what the problem was and he quickly identified the root cause of the issue. Rather than charging me hundreds of dollars for an emergency weekend visit, he stayed on the phone with me for almost an hour. He patiently explained me step by step how to fix the problem with a high-pressure switch and a clogged condensate trap. Scott guided me on the phone so that I cold fix the furnace quickly. The furnace is running perfectly again. I will certainly do business with them again in the future.
I recently had SG come to my home because I thought there was a problem with the water heater they installed last year. As it turned out, the issue was with my fuse box. The technician was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. The individuals who both made my appointment and called me regarding it were responsive, courteous, and understanding. As it turned out, I was not even charged for the service call and repair. I highly recommend SG to anyone who requires either installation or repair on their heating or air conditioning systems.
I attempted to install a new thermostat, which blew a fuse on the furnaces electrical panel (I didn’t know this until after the fact). They answered my call for help immediately, and although they couldn’t make it out, he walked me through the process step by step. Highly highly recommend. Great response time, great demeanor and ungodly knowledgeable!!!
Did 7 head 2 condenser Mitsubishi ductless splits in 3 levels. Install went fast and smooth.
Not sure why other reviews say 'good value'. When I called, I was told it would be $ 129 just for technician to come and diagnose the problem, which is much higher than others who charge $ 79 - $ 89. The cherry on the top, was that the repairs were extra, on top of $ 129. Whew !!
I have had a maintenance agreement with SGHAC for over 10 years and always highly recommend this business to friends and neighbors. They installed our HVAC, furnace, and water heater over the years. They also fixed a plumbing problem! SGHAC has always been responsive even for an emergency.
They were the best - competative - courteous - informative They replaced our outdoor condenser and indoor coil units. They even went the extra mile and provided us with window ac units while we were waiting for the repair. Thank you!
