This morning I found out that water was leaking from the bottom of the water heater. I called PSE&G to check and the technician came and told me that the water heater was cracked and should be replaced. Then I called the phone number that PSE&G technician gave me earlier. But, I couldn’t reach the replacement department with so much waiting time. After two times leaving my phone number, they called me and gave me the estimate. The price varies according to the years of warranty. But I didn’t like attitude of the caller. Then I remembered Gold Medal company that replaced my HVAC system many years ago. I found Gold Medal number on Googles and called. Cristina answered my phone call and explained that the technician would come to give the estimate and he would replace the water heater right away. Within less than an hour, technician Kevin came and gave me the estimate, but higher than PSE&G. I was shocked, because last time I used Gold Medal, the estimate was much lower than PSE &G. I complained to Kevin and he explained that the price he was charging was including the Permit fee and disposal of the old water heater and with parts and labor warranty. After a little reluctant time, I decided to give a job to Kevin. After seeing how Kevin was working on the water heater replacement, I was so happy, because he was working professionally well and changing all the rotten pipes and valves for the brand new. He did simply the best job draining all the water leaked on the floor and Nice and Neat Job! I’m super satisfied with the service from Gold Medal and the Best Technician Kevin. Thank you.
Anthony was great from the start! First on his call letting me know he was on his way, he was professional and friendly. Once he was at my residence he was also quite informative about problem I had, explained the issue and possible reasoning. Anthony advised me of the Titanium plan that I will definitely be signing up for soon. Thanks so much Anthony, hope your company realizes what an asset you truly are.
Thursday evening emergency with water shut off valve not working. Luis was at the house within 90 min and was able to do an emergency repair and also notify us of another pending issue and provide an estimate for that repair. Very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. Much appreciated!!
In my experience, prompt service is essential, particularly when it comes to AC repair during sweltering heat. I had scheduled an appointment with this business for the very next day, a 4-hour window slot, and even turned down offers from two other available technicians to keep my commitment. The following morning, two hours into my appointment window, I reached out to get an estimated time of arrival. I was then informed, without any prior notification, that I was on a waiting list. I found this to be a significant breach of trust as they didn't see it fit to communicate this change proactively. Subsequently, I found myself braving a weekend without air conditioning. To add insult to injury, they had the audacity to contact me later that afternoon, informing me that my appointment had been 'rescheduled'! Before you consider availing of their services, I would highly advise perusing the one-star reviews both here and on Yelp. Based on my experience, this business lacks professional integrity and operational efficiency. I would recommend steering clear.
BEWARE - Totally disgusted with the service on this visit and we have been loyal customers for many years at multiple properties owned - with many pieces of residential equipment still having substantial remaining warranties left with them. I was misled by the technician who, when I had to leave the house for a pre arranged personal appointment - as he had not come at the scheduled arrival time and I was rushing to leave - he then took advantage of an old lady I had to leave in the house to allow the work to continue by charging her a lot more than he had advised would be the case - she had no idea she was being taken advantage of as she is a traditionally trusting old lady - but had I been able to be there, (which I would definitely have been if he arrived at the scheduled time) I would have called it out immediately. I called Gold Medal to complain and get this resolved on my return home when I found out this happened and I was told a manager would call me back that afternoon and nobody ever did - totally DISGUSTED. ! Very disappointed after many happy years of good service from them.
I called many local electricians for days and no one responded. Gold Medal took the call and was out the next day. Great technician answered all my questions and gave me options. Great service!
I called Gold Medal to look at my AC which wasn't working. Dominic from Gold Medal quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed the issue in less than 30 minutes. He was very professional and great to work with. I highly recommend him and Gold Medal.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE LIARS AND CROOKS. Never showed up for the appointment. Never called. They refused to honor their own written policy of the "service is free" if they do not show up on time. Will be filing a complaint with Consumer affairs and the state Attorney General. Their customer service phone representatives lie to you and make excuses. JUST HORRIBLE! Do yourself a favor and get somebody more honest and reliable.
I booked an appointment for air conditioning service, and he arrived the same day within the time period communicated to me. Aleksandr listened to what our concerns were and he diagnosed the problem for us. Once we confirmed pricing, he got our air conditioner back up and running on the hottest day of the summer.
Jorge was great! Super job, friendly, efficient. Talked us into signing a yearly contract. Looking forward to using Gold Medal again

Thai was such an amazing experience . I called Gold medal and instantly they gave me appointment and were at my place in one hour To my surprise the person who came Mathew was such a polite and courteous guy and I'm just one hour I signed the contract and today is July 4th but they were in my house at 7.30am and by 3pm they were all fine placing the whole unit , I was not home so they told my son they will pick the check next day which was really like so much personal touch Thank you Gold medal for your truly professional service 🙏

Noel G is an excellent plumber. He explained what was necessary to get the water heater working. He gave me a price and how long it would take. He was right on the money for both. I would definitely request him again.
