Today Nick completed annual maintenance on our A/C. He was here during the time promised and even called us 12 min. before arrivng. He was professional, polite and informative. He also left everything as it was before he started.
Nick broke the news to me I need to replace my AC unit, it was unfortunate news however his level of empathy and professionalism made the conversation easier to have. As a small business owner, first year in business, this wasn’t the news I wanted to hear. He informed me Joyce does finance so I will be moving in this direction. After dealing with2 other HVAC companies in the area, I appreciate the high level of customer attention and professionalism Nick delivered, so I will be using Joyce for all of my HVAC needs.
*Updated* Joyce did a great job on the install of my AC/Furnace. But the work their electrician did was embarrassing. He walked all over my attic in 18+ inches of blown insulation, leaving trenches ALL over the place. No attempt to fill in the area where he walked, and I can’t even figure out why he walked in some of the areas he did. Annihilated the Christmas tree we had up there and left it like that. The thermostat wire he ran from the basement goes up the side of the house, dangling right in the open. In the basement he fished it through all sorts of gas lines, pipes, and conduit. No regard for being neat a tidy or running it along a wall, just cutting corners with it and not enough slack for me to clean it up. I opened the attic stair access to check on why they needed to even be in the attic and piles of insulation from the ladder just dropped into my daughters nursery room. Besides the sloppy electrical work, the Joyce crew was professional, timely, and their work down in the basement and outside on the AC pad was very nice! Time to ditch the electrician you use Joyce. Not acceptable! *Update* Joyce did reach out immediately after seeing this review, and scheduled their tech and electrician to come back out the next day. They cleaned up everything rewired the thermostat wire properly and fixed all the insulation. Glad they took ownership and we got it resolved. I respect that a lot! Will be a repeat customer. Thanks!

CJ and his crew did a great job when they installed my mini-split heat pump. I was amazed at how hard they worked! They were polite and careful not to track snow into my house. They also did great job of making sure that my sneaky cat did not get outside. Ray the salesman was wonderful too. He came out a second time because I had more questions after talking with the five other companies I had gotten estimates from, . Most importantly, Ray was the only salesman who offered me the option of installing a 15K unit downstairs. All the other ones recommended a 12K. After the unit was installed, I realized that the 12K would not have been enough.

The whole process from making an appointment through the end of the actual service to the air conditioner provided by Joyce Cooling and Heating and their employees was 5*, top notch. Tom showed up on time, explained everything he was checking on the whole system involved with cooling with my 2013 Carrier Air Conditioner. By the time Tom left, I knew how the AC worked and feel fully confident that the service provided was thorough and complete. Tom got his work done in an expedient manner while narrating the whole job in a pleasant, easy to understand manner. Very professional.

Simply amazing - Another HVAC company visited, told me my system was a loss and quoted me 16K - James showed up on time, very personable - I explained the problem, he walked over to my AC unit, pressed something and the unit kicked on - A bad capacitor and a bad pressure switch -James is honest, sincere and knew exactly what he was doing - James took the time to explain the issue and reviewed the rest of my system with me - I cannot recommend enough and have signed a Service Contract with Joyce for the future - Its rare to find people that want to fix your problem and not try to sell you something for no reason - So glad I found Joyce!

Had a ductless mini split heat pump installed, and I couldn’t be more happy with the quality of the work, and the professionalism of the staff. Matt answered all my questions and kept me in the loop with the install as he went. I’m excited to have a nice cool home this summer!

This was our second experience with Joyce Cooling & Heating. They have served our office location and treated us very well there, so decided to try them at our home. They office staff is very friendly and helpful and provided a rough cost estimate for service over the phone. The technicians arrived on time and were very professional. They worked efficiently to clean our heating system and were happy to walk me through what they were doing and what they saw with the system. They made sure to take time to answer any questions I had and didn't leave a mess (thank you!). Even the dog enjoyed some pats from the techs.
Joyce Cooling and Heating installed 4 mini split AC units in my house in May 2023. From the initial meeting with Jason to the final installation with CJ I could not have been happier. Jason walked me through the system components and what would be most efficient for my home. Jason was available for multiple calls to discuss the benefits of each system and followed up with a call after the system was installed. CJ and his team performed the work in a timely manner and very professional during the entire installation process. I am pleased that I chose to work with Joyce Cooling and Heating and highly recommend anyone looking for a reputable, professional and customer service orientated contractor to call Joyce.
When it was time to take out our oil heat and convert to propane, I had three different providers come to my house and talk to us about how that would look and how it would be done. I went with Joyce because they did such a fabulous job on my AC installation. One of the other companies did a great job coming out here, but I felt it was less of a risk going with Joyce. It was a very complicated procedure. But they did indeed get it all done in one day. it appears to be working perfectly, and is awaiting its final inspection. My only reservation, was that there was supposed to be a partnership between Eastern Oil and Joyce heating. And although they were all on the same bill, I still had to negotiate and call and make arrangements with both companies myself . That was a little disappointing. However, once it was done, it all seems really great.
