Can't say enough good things about Weir. They were prompt, professional, very friendly, and went above and beyond to complete difficult heating and cooling installs in our 1908 home. They also have consistently beaten other estimates. Thanks Weir!
Hands down the people I call for all my HVAC needs. They installed both the furnace and AC in our home. I believe in shopping with your local companies and this company wont let you down!
The service that they completed was done very quickly and my air conditioner works great now. However, my complaint is with their lack of communication and the Corporate-like service prices. I had the fan motor break on my AC so I called Weirac because they are VERY close, 2 blocks away, and I wanted to help small businesses during these hard times. I figured with them being so close and a small business they would be reasonably priced. I was wrong, very wrong. The average price online says it’s anywhere from $300-$600. And I was charged $550, and they’d “bump it down” if I payed cash. They were here for 1 hour and 10 minutes and the part online is anywhere from $50-$100. Since then I have messaged them 3 different times trying to get a bill for my service, justifying their price and I have been completely ignored. I need a bill to give to the company I work for, so they can reimburse me for my payment. All I received was a bill saying “Replaced condensor fan motor”, which is not going to work for my company. All in all they were very quick and they did the job. Just be wary that you’re going to be charged “corporate-like” prices with bad communication. I would not recommend this company unless you have no other options.

We are enjoying a cool house this evening after very prompt, friendly, professional service from the Weir family. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend giving them a call for all your heating/cooling needs. I called Weir AC on Wednesday requesting information about the cost of a new a/c unit. since ours had quit working and was too old to repair. Peggy said she would have her son call me about pricing. Ross returned my call within 10 - 15 minutes and offered to stop by to give us a quote. He showed up within 15 - 20 minutes, gave us a quote and said he could do the installation on Friday. We were very excited to get installation so soon. On Thursday morning we received a call from Ross offering to install our new a/c today since they had a cancellation. Voila!

Excellent family owned business! Both Richard and his son have worked on our HVAC system. Very nice folks and they do excellent work. They are honest folks that won't try to sell you a new unit if the old one can be repaired. I trust them to fix what needs to be fixed at a fair price.
