I recently had Midwest Heating Cooling & Plumbing replace my two AC and furnace units. I was beyond impressed with the entire process, from the estimate from Tom, who took the time to thoroughly answer all my questions, to the installation itself. Craig, Sam and Wil were simply put, amazing. They were probably the most efficient, well-organized, hard-working team I have had the opportunity work with in 23 years in my home. They arrived on time and before I knew it, they had floor covers down, the old furnaces and AC units were removed and they expertly installed the new ones. Two whole systems in less than 6 hours! When they left, everything was clean, picked, and working as it should. I would not hesitate to recommend Midwest for your HVAC needs. They were tremendous to work with and definitely exceeded my expectations.
Called for service Saturday evening 6/3 due to my A/C not working. Technician Josh called me back and advised that he would come Sunday 6/4 between 8:00 am and noon. No call, no show. Called to speak to the service manager on Monday morning 6/5. I left a VM. 2 days later, no call back. These people used to be great and I’ve used them for 25 years. Will never call again.
We had MW HC&P back to our other property to replace the Furnace, AC & Water heater. They did a great job maintaining the equipment for us for decades and they did more great work this time. I have been a customer for more than 20 years. They have always sent great people to help us with HVAC problems and upgrades.
I spoke with Midwest who came out for hvac and furnace replacement. I had a very nice sales person named Greg who was professional - and wrote out a clear estimate of all necessary issues and educated me on more issues I should be aware of. In the end he just couldn't beat two other companies but came close. Left a nice proessional message wishing me well. I believe this is an honest, professional company who will try to help you and tell you what they can and cannot do.
I invited six different companies to provide proposals for the replacement of our main furnace/air conditioning unit, which had served us well for more than 30 years. Greg Latshaw, one of Midwest's 'Comfort Advisors,' came to our home and carefully measured and inquired about our needs. He spent a fair amount of time working on three separate recommendations for a system, based on various levels of efficiency. He was one of the few whose proposal included details about rebates from Evergy and the equipment manufacturer, Lennox in this case. After carefully comparing the six proposals, Midwest came up to the top. None of the proposals were inexpensive, but Midwest's proved to be the best value, in part because of the extra work Greg did to present rebates that helped mitigate the high cost somewhat. Our installers worked extremely well as a team. Each had his list of responsibilities, one working in the basement to remove the old furnace and coil, the other outside removing the old compressor, and then each working on installation of the new equipment. They then worked together to finish the details and test the system, and every aspect of their handiwork was done with pride...cables and drain hoses neatly installed and wire-tied for a very clean and professional final project. They had to return a few days later to install new thermostats that weren't initally available, as well as new humidiers (including one for the existing smaller system that serves the upper level), and then return a third time when I requested a change, the installation of a wireless thermostat gateway. Each time they came they were right on time, which is something I value greatly and the primary installation was completely finished on the first day. They also made sure the floors and stairs down to the basement were covered when the old equipment was hauled out and the new brought in. Excellent Professionals with amazing quality service. James and his team did fantastic job replacing my old HVAC equipments, from the time they arrived they ensured everything was done right ,even if it took them extra mile. They were finished with the replacement within 8 hours with no breaks. I also had priviledge to deal with Jack owner of midwest, most humble and down to earth personnel i've come accross also very helpful in getting this setup within couple of days,prompt in reponses and ensured i've peace of mind in entire process. Very impressed with Midwest they truly have very high standards and exceeded my expectations and i highly recommend them..
Our old system but the dust and we had to pull the trigger on a new one a couple of days ago. After working with Greg and his install crew I feel as if I overthought this process. They were fantastic to work with and exceeded all of our expectations. The installation went smoothly, even though I knew our system would be complicated as we also use an outdoor wood boiler for our primary heat source. They were in and out in less than 8 hours and left their work area cleaner than they found it. I would highly recommend them to anyone that asked. In a world where customer service is DEAD, they renewed my faith in that founding principle.
Very happy with the installation of our new HVAC system.From the salesman (Tom)who spent the time to answer our questions to the installation crew who were prompt, knowledgeable and polite. We have been using MHandC for over 20 years and have always been happy with their work.
My garbage disposal is working great since installed in December. The Tech answered all my questions and showed up on time.

I was really scared about being ripped off but instead I received great service! The young repairman’s name was Josh, he was friendly, professional and he explained everything to me and I truly appreciate it. I’m on a fixed income and was pleasantly surprised how reasonable Midwest was. I would recommend them 100%!! In fact I was looking at everything they do and will be calling them again. I want to say thank you to Midwest and a special thank you to Josh!!!!
I technician was very kind and worked me into his schedule. He answered all of my questions & gave me good tips on basic maintenance of my system which I found to be very helpful.
Midwest Heating and Cooling are wonderful! Our furnace went out on Tuesday evening and they were here on Wednesday at noon. Turned out to be our evaporator which they were able to get fixed in a matter of minutes.
Have been using Midwest heating and cooling for multiple years now. Always have a positive experience and our technician Greg does a really great job.
Because heat was out in extreme cold their fast response was important to me. Unfortunately they had to find the part needed the next morning. But they did and replaced it that morning.

-6 degrees outside on a Friday morning and our furnace quit operating! I was really expecting a few days wait for service, but Midwest was here within 4 hours! TJ diagnosed and repaired quickly and we were up and running! Been using Midwest for about 15 years and and this has consistently been our experience with them. We trust their knowledge and work ethic.
Sump pump in the basement was not working. Called Thursday and Dallas was out Friday morning to repair it. As usual he did a great job.

Great! Our guy was right on time, very personable and explained all that he was doing to the furnace to me. Very much worth the maintenance contract we have!
