Please DO NOT use this company. We had work done with them that seemed expensive but didn’t get a second opinion. Then they came out for routine AC maintenance. The technician spoke only to my fiancé, who does not own the house, and didn’t acknowledge me. He then told us that our AC was leaking coolant. He quoted $700 to “fill it as a bandaid” OR $600 to search for a leak plus either $3,500 or $4,500 plus labor to fix the coil plus ~$1000 to add more coolant. We had a second opinion out who said “they’re trying to rob you. There’s nothing wrong with your AC”. AVOID THEM.
I spoke to Candace today, 7/3/23, on the phone for help with scheduling a service, and I was so impressed. She was very kind, professional and extremely helpful. My high opinion of this company continues to grow. This was my first review, from last year. - A storm, and knocked over tree, took out our entire electric box, and ripped the wires out of our fuse box. Ruben came out on a Sun to evaluate the situation and was fantastic from beginning to end. He was helpful, thorough, and did an excellent job working with the City, our insurance, and Evergy to get our electrical system repaired and our power up and running again. We really appreciate his excellent customer service and the hard work he put in to get it all fixed properly.
I have five times tried to leave a review to no avail …I will say that I had them come quote for furnace and hvac replacement. I did not get anything in writing until the end. It was difficult to compare. The saleman did not appear familiar with how to read outside label air hvac system. His boss followed up but that did not always prompt in writing notification - so four more companies contacted. They do appear to have the best warranties - but not best bottom line - it was difficult given time spent to not have had salesman write everything down or come prepared to do so....
We had signed up for their annual ASAP program, not quite as ASAP as we hoped. AC went out in high heat, and still about a week out until they're able to come. Will edit to see how they are when they're here.
PlayStation service call for him to do some bathroom plumbing. They canceled the appointment because they were behind on other work. On the third time that they canceled, I called someone else, who showed up the next day and completed the work. Unless you have all day to wait for them, I would call somebody else
Plumber came out for shower area leak, claimed to be cross threaded shower neck. Ended up being an old tub spout. Wanted to charge $842 to bash a hole in new tile wall and replace shower neck. Would have caused a huge mess. Fixed it myself, $20
Made an appointment in August for my furnace tune-up in October between 12 and 5 pm. At 4pm on the scheduled date, I got a call they couldn't make it. Next available was December 17. Also got an argument about why I shouldn't be upset. Poor customer service in my opinion. They could do sooo much better.
Tyler was our technician and was absolutely wonderful. Courteous, friendly, and informative. This was our first time using Anthony’s and we will use them again the next time a need arises. Very impressed with their service.
We have been loyal customers for several of the services that Anthony's provides. We used them to replace the HVAC for you personal home. When we had an issue with our HVAC in a rental property that we owned, it was our first thought to give them a call, especially since we knew they offered a referral program. We had a sales representative give us an estimate and he told us we would qualify for the referral refund and should expect to receive the $500 within a few weeks. When we didn't receive the refund, we called on several occasions to request information on the status. At no time were we informed that we would not qualify. Finally after months have passed, we checked in again and received a call back from management stating that we actually didn't not qualify for the refund due to it being our own property. Despite this being the case, Anthony's is honoring the refund policy. The personal call and the way this was handled has made us feel valued as a customer.
Had a leak in my basement. Anthony looked over the plumbing and only half diagnosed the problem and not very well. Then quoted me $1300 to repair the issue. I was able to fix the problem for $7. Very poor job PROPERLY diagnosing the issue.
Tim at Anthony did a great job. We had to have our entire cast iron drain system replaced inside of our unfinished basement, and he was able to do it in a whole day. He was professional and polite and kept the space as clean as possible, and left things better than it was to begin with. We had three quotes provided from different companies for the service and, while Anthony was not the cheapest, they were the most responsive and we are extremely pleased with the results. It's so nice to have a plumbing system that I know isn't going rust and fall apart in the future. I still recommend doing your homework, and getting several quotes. But if it's between this and another company, you can be comfortable going with Anthony.
All the way from the Lady I spoke w/in the Office to the Gentlemen that came to our home was wonderful. The were very Professional & Very nice easy going ppl... Even helped set a plan for the remainder of the services needed for home...
I have used Anthony for a couple of major projects now at two different houses and their technicians all do an excellent job. They are expedient and all do an excellent job of getting it in, getting it done, and getting it out.
Great, easy going and knowledgeable technician. Located the problem, quoted a price and got it done quickly Had A/C leak. Chris found it in coil, discovered it was still under warranty and ordered it for us.
5/17/22 - Plumber Daniel and his assistant Victor checked out my sump pump, which has been inoperable. Dan’s breadth of knowledge and skills are impressive. He outlined a good plan for the problem. Thank you, Anthony PHC&E! 5/17/22 - HVAC Tech James rebuilt the drain on my high efficiency furnace (which had been installed incorrectly by the seller). He did the job efficiently and correctly, and was very polite and professional. Thank you, Anthony PHC&E! 5/7/22 — Electrician Peter came by to check a breaker. He found it needed to be replaced, and that fix restored power to my dryer, making me a happy camper. Peter was quick with his diagnosis and replacement - no charge. Polite, professional, and responsive. Thanks, Anthony PHC&E! 5/6/22 — My crawlspace went from being bone dry to pretty wet. A condensate pump on my furnace was pumping almost constantly. HVAC repairman James came out this evening, and told me the only-months-old furnace that came with my new house had been installed incorrectly, and was not draining at all. Several gallons of water were backing up inside it. He got the water out, and put in a temporary drain until he can come back and fix the drain permanently. James was courteous and sympathetic, and helped me make a game plan for future furnace maintenance. A true professional! Thank you, Anthony PHC&E! 4/28/22 — Electricians Brandon and Alex replaced my electrical panel and outside infrastructure and mast. My original equipment was very old and had many flaws. They worked diligently and made my home much safer and up to code. I will definitely be using this company again. Thank you, Anthony PHC&E! 5/2/22 — A large crew from Anthony PHC&E came out to replace my sewer line. They worked both outside and inside for the entire day, got everything completed, and worked hard to clean up perfectly. I’m very thankful for their work! 5/4/22 — Today plumber Drew Essex returned to follow up on a large sewer line job which Anthony PHC&E did for me. Ever
Kelsey was the supreme professional! We had a little talk before she started working on the problem, meaning, digging into the history and exactly what’s going on with my drain. She was able to assimilate all the information and determined, with my financial interest in mind, that using the auger would be the best choice. She was in and out of my house within the hour and that included clean up which was minimal because she knew exactly what she’s doing! If and when another plumbing problem crops up, I will ask for Kelsey. You won’t be disappointed with her service!
Anthony's service person, Christian, came on time and as promised during a heat wave (unlike another well-known company that did not show or have the courtesy to let us know in advance). Service from Anthony's was great, repair completed and the technician was excellent, knowledgeable and courteous. Strongly recommend.
We’ve used them for a couple of years now, and every time they come out, they’re professional, polite and go right to work. They give a detailed rundown of everything they found (or didn’t find!), and we always feel confident our systems are going to be running as expected. We have 4 units, so it’s an especially large job. Yet, they a tree always thorough and complete.
They were very friendly, came and checked out a broken mini split AC unit to see if it was fixable or if it needed to be replaced. He was very thorough and explained things well and documented his findings with supporting pics.
Caleb is a real professional. Has worked with us on the Bldg 30 system and now that u no longer support it he has helped us find some work around. Great guy will miss him on these calls.
