Great people, saved me with a repair instead of a replacement!!
They were excellent. I got a quote from a couple "big box" companies for AC repair. Immediately they switched it to a sales conversation to buy a new AC and quoted ~$1500 for repair. Travis from Ray Welter explained the fix and quoted us $400 for repair. On top of that, these guys are not commissioned for new sales, so you know you're getting an honest answer and honest suggestions. When I have to replace, they will be the only HVAC company that will get my business
The Welter team did 3 combo deal for my house with a new Water Heater Ac & Hvac system. They were very good with communicating and following up with me during the entire process. Also Chad one of the technicians is very nice and my dog loves him too.
Honest, quick responding, and professional. We are super happy that we called. Our furnace went out during the winter. Originally, we called another company that listed 24/7 service. I'm convinced that the quoted repair for our furnace was priced to sell us a new one. I called up Ray N. Welter for a second quote on a replacement furnace, and when Rick came out, one look at our furnace, he said that we should fix it. They were able to come out less than 24 hours later with the correct part! They will be our first call in the future.
I cannot give enough props to Ray Welter Heating Company. Thursday, our furnace died. They came out within a couple hours, taught my husband how to restart it in meantime, advised replacement. We agreed to replacement, they were here Friday morning at 830. By 2pm, new furnace up and running. 10 stars!
I've used this company one other time with excellent results. This time I had an intermittent problem and the guy who came out did a great job finding the problem and swapping it out quickly. I literally would never call any other place for HVAC service.

I am very pleased so far. I called several places for an HVAC Safety check. Their price was $100 less than any other company, they offered me a discount for my duplex (unlike any other company) and they had excellent availability. With this great start, I expect no issues but will update my review if there are any concerns with my appointment. Update: The technician was courteous and prompt. Great company so far.
This company is the real deal! They care about customer service their quality of work AND always come in with the cheapest bid!!! Been using them for 25 years and every project they complete is on time, done well and great price. Look no further!!
They were great to work with when we needed to replace our furnace. The price was fare and they did fast and great work on the removal of our very large old furnace and the installation of the new.
Had a great experience! Thankful I gave them a call. I originally called another company that was able to come out same day, and they quoted me a ridiculous amount to replace a flame sensor.... I called Welter from a recommendation from my contractor, and they took one look and said it was just dirty, cleaned it up and got my furnace back working. Thank you!
I went with Welter after getting a few bids on a new furnace. I'd just had a bad experience with a Carrier furnace recall and told the Welter rep that I wanted a furnace that had been out a while and was proven to be solid, so the Trane they suggested was in the process of being discontinued but they still had new ones in stock- they said they'd been installing this furnace for over 12 years with no issues or recalls- so I was all about it! I was not interested in any bells and whistles and they didn't try to upsell me, just gave me a really fair quote. The installer was on time and put in the furnace in less than 6 hours. After he left, I noticed that when my AC came on, the fan/blower was on *extremely high* and it was very loud through the vents, so I called the next morning and the guy on the phone knew exactly what was going on and they sent out the same installer to adjust it that afternoon- and it's great now, very quiet. We had some issues with our AC unit freezing due to air flow issues and a faulty valve. Everyone who we worked with was amazing. They explained what they were looking for and why. We had to call them back because some issues persisted and they came quickly and solved the problem. I was worried about finding an HVAC repair company because they can be difficult to work with, but finding Ray N. Welter has been great. I will definitely use them for my next project or repair.
Undersized unit installed. Right after install, they wanted wanted fees to come and adjust fan speed. A/C installed on unstable pad. Won't use again.
Ray N. Welter Heating Company installed a Mini-split in our detached garage. They were super timely, nice, prepared, and responsive to hiccups that got in the way. They worked around the issue of the electrical company not installing the electricity on time and were very flexible. Instillation took no time at all and they cleaned up after they were done. You could not tell even that work had been done. Would recommend to anyone!
They earned a lifetime client. This is a time when home repair and maintenance companies are taking advantage of people. Ray gave us a fair price with a quality AC unit. We got honest feedback and recommendations and couldn’t be more appreciative during these times. Scheduling, installation, financing and rebate was seamless. Highly recommend.
I had Ray N. Welter do an AC tuneup along with a furnace tuneup. Extremely professional service technician. I wish I could remember his name. (Older gentleman). I also spoke with George over the phone. He was extremely helpful giving me tips on how to get better airflow to our second story.
My A/C condenser stopped functioning recently and a neighbor recommended Ray N Welter's services. They got to my house within a day of my initial call. After some inspection, the diagnoses was that my compressor was bad. Big fix for an AC unit. One of the supervisors (Jason) suggested I check on the units warranty. As a new home owner, I didn't know the history of the unit and assumed it was much older than it was. Turns out it was still under parts and labor warranty from another company in the cities. The honesty of Jason and Ray N Welter services saved me a fortune in repairs. They never even billed me for about the hour they spent diagnosing the problem. To me honesty is 100% the number #1 quality in any business. Ray N Welter's honesty saved me lots of money. I learned my mistake as a new home owner (always check for parts/labor warranty first) and if I ever need future repairs on anything HVAC related in my house that is no longer under warranty, I will absolutely turn to Ray N Welter for service!
