LISTEN this business appears to be closed and somehow their number is redirecting to my personal phone!!! If you call the number listed it goes to my phone! I will not answer please stop calling it!
Installed brand new Fujitsu split system AC in 2017. When it failed in summer 2020, I tried everything to reach them for repair. Called and left messages, got no return call.. Called the owner's personal cell phone; voice mail box full. Apparently they are no longer in business?
I spoke with a gentleman regarding an air return cavity. I was in the middle of a remodeling project and was unsure about the next steps. I emailed pictures & he gave me his recommendation. I’m very appreciative for the help he gave over the phone and in an email. I was able to complete my project immediately. I will definitely call Mill City for an any future problems or maintenance.
During the last stretch of negative temperature we had a radiator freeze and crack. We called around and decided to go with Mill City Heating and cooling for the repair. I'm so happy we did. A professional, friendly, and knowledgable staff and technicians. Not only did they do a great job of installing the new radiator but when we called with concerns they answered all our questions and even walked me through how to maintain the boiler pressure over the phone until they could arrive to fix. Top notch service!!! I would absolutly recommened for anyone having heating issues!
Mill city heating and cooling did my HVAC on my category 2 vacant duplex investment property in saint paul. Also Installed a new furnace in the attic for one of the units. I will be using them in the future.
Navid and Dean were both amazing to work with us on a short time frame. We had them install a new Central Air unit. They were so helpful to accommodate us even though they are super busy with other clients. They showed up fast, did an amazing job and installed a fantastic AC unit at a very fair price. I highly recommend Mill City Heating and Cooling!!!

I spent about three weeks obtaining bids from HVAC (heating, venting and air conditioning) companies. We selected a company I felt we could work with, but one week prior to starting the project they stopped by so they could "nail down" their scheduling. Shortly after that on the same day, I received an email with a new bid for TWICE as much! It didn't feel right so I reached out to Mill City Heating and Cooling. They reviewed the project and provided a bid, we hired them and upon final payment, it was EXACTLY the same amount as their original bid (and almost the same as previous company)-- that's the dollars review. The workmanship was complimented by several inspectors (we had various projects going). At the end of the day, we live in a 2,500 finished sq ft home and we pay half the amount of what we paid in utilities for our 1,400 home. We are extremely grateful for their honesty, hard work and professionalism.
We had Mill City do a complete system (furnace, ac, and duct work) and they were amazing. We were remodeling a house in Southwest Minneapolis that was down to the studs so we had many contractors through our place and Mill City was the best. You know someone is good when other people in the trades and even the inspectors ask who did the work. This was not a flip, we live in this house and the system has been working great. One thing I liked best is their final price was Navid’s original bid. I found them to be very professional and deliver high quality work for a good value. We have had them do work in another property and have referred them to family and friends and everyone has had the same experience.
I had Mill City replace furnace and air conditioner in 4000 sq. ft. home. I don’t like to shop but spent time learning more then I needed to know about internal part manufacturers, brand performance history, air flow, proper sizing, and value points on HVAC efficiency. Then I met with 5 contractors. Mill City brought an “A” game at the “C” player price point and that was my concern when I selected them. If the analogy is a professional athlete they outplayed the contract. I am way more than happy with the job they did and do/have recommend them to anyone wanting the best value with least hassle.
This company is awful. Permits not closed out. Brand new unit failed 3 weeks after installation. Very unprofessional. Very dissappointed.
Extremely unprofessional group. I made an appointment to have Mill City Heating to come bid a boiler replacement over a week in advance. Not only did they never show, I called twice to check on the status and confirm and didn't receive as much as a callback. The reception customer service was equally as poor as little effort was made to confirm what was happening. Wasted over 2 hours of my time - I would never consider this group for any business in the future.
Boiler went out in a rental property and I called Mill City Cooling in.the early AM. They got there when they said they would. They.got the boiler working. Staff was friendly and flexible. I recommend them.
I highly recommend Mill City Heating and Cooling. They did an excellent job of replacing my boiler. They were quick to come out on a weekend, quickly turned around a very reasonable quote and then did great work and were a pleasure to work with. They will be my go to company from here on out.
My wife and I just moved into our first house, and the AC wasn't reaching the upper floors. Navid came right over and showed me that it was most likely just that the dampers hadn't been adjusted for summer. He showed me how to adjust them myself and gave some great tips for maximizing the efficiency of the system. He was extremely courteous and helpful, the visit was quite quick, and he didn't charge us. We're super grateful! We'll definitely be using Mill City going forward!
We live in an old house in Northeast Minneapolis and last fall we decided to finish out our basement. We hired Mill City Heating & Cooling to install a new high-efficiency furnace and air conditioner. They also installed and modified the duct work to the new mechanical room location. Dean did an exceptional job both altering the duct work for the new basement layout and installing the new furnace. I absolutely recommend Mill City Heating & Cooling and will definitely be calling them again if we ever have any future heating and cooling issues.

My tenants contacted me early on January 13th in regards to the furnace blowing cold air. Mill City Heating came to my house within 1 hour of my phone call and replaced the Control Board. Furnace was up and running within 3 hours of my tenants contacting me. Price was right as well. Great service provider! I'll continue using them with my rental properties.
